Hight Priest Ilisudril

Ilisudril is a high priest of Ereshkigal. formerly of an elven heritage he is now transfigured almost beyond recognition.

His seat of power is in the Convent of Pestilance where he presides over plans for the creation and distribution of deadly blights.

Like all of the dark lords of Angmar he owes allegiance to The Lich King, and this bond is probably the foremost thing that is keeping him from obliterating the entire population of the kingdom outright.

Appearance

His form is massively bloated and disfigured by leprosy-like skin damage. he still retains some elven traits like piercing blue eyes, tufts of strandy blond hair (on a mostly bold head) and pointed ears.

he is blind.

He cannot move on his own and must rely on slaves or magic for locomotion.

History

Ilisudril was born as a crown prince to a prominent elven kingdom in the continent of Arzul.

As time passed and his royal father (the king) remained alive considerably more then even the fabled longevity of his kind the crown prince became restless and grew tired of the intrigues of the court.

He found faith in &&& and became a simple wanderer in his service.

His voyages eventually brought him to the continent of Arthea and the kingdom of Angmar, where he gained much fame and acclaim as a healer and miracle worker.

Eventually he was offered the position of the spiritual leader in the council of the king.

He continued to serve for 2 more kings until he met the wizard Kazymir in the service of the high council of king &&&.

By that time the cleric Ilisudril was already vexed with his father's never ending reign. it is told that a mere mention of his old kingdom would send him into a brooding mood. consequently, it took little effort for the cunning Kazimyr to align him to his own needs.

Slowly but without fail the clerics deeds in the service of Kazimyr under the pretext of royal decrees were becoming darker and more sinister over time and his connection to his god steadily diminished.

Eventually his path would lead him into the cold and rotten embrace of Ereshkigal. thereafter the fate of the Kingdom of Angmar would forever change, for it is the blessing of the Royal High Priest would turn out to be one of the key components necessary to elevate the royal high councilor into the position of Sovereign Regent.
