Whig Party

The Whig Party is one of the prominent political parties of the Kingdom of America. Originally the Republican Party, following the Texas Rebellion, was split to distance itself from the perception of constant revolution. Very few if any of the American nobility are members of the Whig Party as they have been seen as the most anti-monarchic of the prominent parties. The political symbol of the party is an Ionic pillar, which has been symbolic of the desire for democracy, and the color orange is heavily associated with the party.

Public Agenda

The Whig Party advocates limited federal power and more power to the states. This includes deregulation of the economy and decrease in federal spending. The Whigs believe the role of the federal government is to facilitate the needs of the individual states.
