Humans are the most populous race on the moon of Kenshi, scattered across its cities, wastelands, and broken empires. Though bound by a common root, they are divided into three distinct subraces, each shaped by the lands that forged them. The GreenLanders, hardy and stubborn folk who thrive in crowded settlements and old kingdoms. The Scorchlanders, wanderers bronzed by desert suns, quick of step and restless of spirit. The Ashlanders, pale survivors of the poisoned Second Empire, hardened by ash and often called "goblins".
