Skinner's Roam

Also known as "The Roam"

A vast and stony desert under tenuous Holy Nation claim, Skinner’s Roam is a place of dust and desolation. The land is scarred with half-buried quarries and stone mines, long abandoned to shifting sands. Sudden sandstorms, known as the Dust Wall, sweep through with little warning, stripping flesh and stone alike. The Holy Nation maintains only a token presence here, its patrols stretched thin between Skinner's Hold and the wastes beyond. What draws life to this harsh expanse are the great herds of Bonebull that thunder across its plains and canyons, beasts both feared and coveted. Hunters from across the continent risk the storms and solitude in pursuit of their hides, giving the desert its name, Skinner’s Roam.
