AASIMAR
America's response to the opening of the war came with fanfare. As people reacted with terror to the news, the military and government publicized the new soldiers they were sending off to war like they were already saviors. An assurance of swift victory to be brought by the hands of the Angels of War.
Aeronautic Angel Strategic Initiative for Mission Assault and Reconnaissance. By most just AASIMAR or AoW, soldiers made to bring hope in light of the dire state of the world. Humans fashioned after the host of the heavens, wings and all. Though some were darker than the rest in their design. Out of the project there came three variants of the soldiers.
The war is long over, but the program continues even though the candidates are few and far between. Keltrex to no ones surprise managed to learn how to replicate the AASIMAR technologies in order to offer this as a service on the island, though outside of that it is very difficult to find an AASIMAR who did not come from the current American program. An unexpected side effect of the changes to the human form from this tampering was the slowed aging. The life expectancy of an AASIMAR who does not die in violence is nearly twice that of a normal un-augmented humanoid. AASIMAR that come from the American program often know each other or of each other at the very least since they are often created in small cohorts and trained to be aware of each previous and current group. While the war is long past, AASIMAR often have trouble getting along with any SIMIC Hybrid they encounter. Some speculate that their programming in their modifications includes a built in aversion to their original enemy.

Protector
Protector AASIMAR are often designated to guarding purposes. They are usually assigned to travel with civillians, higher officers, or medical transports. Their purpose is to be able to fight, but also offer limited medical aid and swift escape in case of tricky situations. Their prime activated form grants them flight for a limited period, and a capacity to inflict greater damage to enemies in their proximity using concentrated radiation.Scourge
Scourge AASIMAR are designed to be front line combatants. They head in with other forces, facing battles head on as commanders and morale boosters simply by existing nearby. Though that presence becomes volatile in prime form. Channeling use of flight that same radiation damage is less focused, surrounding them so that they become dangerous to remain near and are used to help drive enemy forces back with their burning presence.Fallen
Fallen AASIMAR often serve more subtle and darker purposes. They are not placed with others because they do not have the same capacity for flight as their brethren. Nor to they channel radiation in order to damage enemies. Instead, their augmentations are designed to help them infiltrate and inflict psychological damage on enemy forces. Their prime form pulls on hyper vitality in order to inflict decay and necrosis, which takes a toll on their own form while in use causing them to appear so awful it often causes anyone looking at them to fall into a state of pure fight or flight. The war is long over, but the program continues even though the candidates are few and far between. Aasimar in this world are not descendants of the divine, nor are they celestial in nature. They were created in an American weapons program. The race abilities you have based on your subrace were given to you by implants and augmentations to enhance you. Aasimar wings are either mechanical or are illusion technology, all the other stuff flavor as you will.
