Key Agrarian
The newest position of authority at the Green Abbey, the first and present Key Agrarian is Corro Bleshon. With no other appropriate title to bestow Corro for his incredible contribution to the abbey, the abbot of the Green Abbey created the title as a reward for his continued work. Not pertaining to a single profession and with no defined responsibilities, the title comes with several minor perks, like the limited authority to come-and-go as they please and a dedicated space within the abbey walls for a laboratory.
Since the title is technically academic in nature, Corro has made himself available to students and tutors a small group of new members every year. Corro spends much of his day tending to his personal apiary but welcomes visitors who have questions about philosophy, apiary, botany, or any other topic of interest. When not otherwise engaged he spends the rest of his time performing tests and experiments on the various types of Bleshon Honey stored privately at the abbey.
Appointment
The four official staff who run the Green Abbey gathered with the recipient of the title. The abbot read a short speech declaring Corro as the Key Agrarian as witnessed by the other three administrators. After accepting the title Corro and the others exchanged pleasantries and drank a bottle of local mead together and they all agreed that this would be protocol as the abbey and the church grew.
Duties
Since the title is appointed by the leaders of the Rinenian Church it is assumed they would behave in a way that honors their patron. Corro does this is with a focus on the Bleshbees and the potential of Bleshon honey as both a divine gift and a valuable resource that must be preserved. This position is likely to change significantly to whomever holds it after Corro, if it even gets passed on at all.
