Bleshon Honey
Pink, Sweet, & Thick
Already avid beekeepers, the Rinenian Gardeners that live in the Green Abbey have cultivated a unique breed of Apidae that have a tendency to seek out specific breeds of flowering plants that other pollinators either avoid or cannot access. The Bleshon honey they sell to visitors and take to seasonal markets comes directly from the hives and is recognizable by it's unique pink/blush color and intensely sweet smell.
This special honey is collected from hives the same as any other honey, with the Bleshbees generally producing the same volume of honey as typical honeybees. After being harvested the honey is stored in air-tight jars sealed with wax after being thoroughly filtered to remove any unwanted elements - like errant twigs or bee corpses - before being sold. This helps preserve the potent flavor of the honey and makes it easy to transport or store for long periods of time. The Gardeners supposedly have massive stockpiles of various staples used by the abbey that includes several varieties of Bleshon honey that are not available to outsiders, for sale or otherwise.
Properties
Material Characteristics
Easily recognizable by it's unique color, Bleshon honey has a consistent pink tone throughout, similar in tone and saturation to traditionally yellow/amber honey. The exact pigmentation will typically vary somewhat from season-to-season based on which kinds of vegetation the abbey is growing and how attractive those plants are to the Bleshbees but in general but generally have a recognizable color that makes the honey easy to identify. Due to the filtration process used to ensure preservation the honey is also clear of natural components that might otherwise still be present in other types of honey and is often described as 'pristine' or 'pure'.
Physical & Chemical Properties
As part of his travels, Nariman Zandos collects all kinds of oddities to bring back to his Dannamore patrons. After sitting in storage for several years, a student at Dannamore University discovered a jar procured by Nariman during one of his sojourns and performed some experiments that yielded unique results: under the right conditions the honey can act as a carrier for arcane energy!
The investigation has only begun but those aware of the potential are already whispering that this honey (and the bees that produce it) may be an organic form of vusinium, similar is some ways to the highly sought-after Mesen Fluid sometimes found in ancient underground vats built by long-failed cultures from eons past.
