Phydan

Phydan is an old religion that is still alive from the Naphilian. They are politeists but pray mostly to the god of knowledge and life.

It is a religion that has been always with Naphilian. It speaks of how Naphilian were moulded by the god of the knowlegde and then given life by the god of life. Their language and culture taught to them by the god of knowledge, they try to not loose any part of it, altought their original language has been almost lost, only remembered by priest, as it evolved to the languages Naphilian speak nowadays. Priest are the main keepers of all this gifts from their god. They accept other gods, they have it in the Phydan, but their prays go mostly to the god of knowledge and then the god of life; the rest of the gods are prayed in specific case when their bendition/help are needed, such as praying to the god of agriculture when having a bad time with crops or to the god of water when there has been a long drought.
Young Naphilian nowadays are starting to ignore the Phydan as they belive its oppressing them and making them think that they only matter if they become priests, which is a life most people do not like as their freedom is limitated and the trainings are rought.
One myth of the Naphilian, explaining how the world become the world, has disappointed a lot of people when in The dawn of magic, the other world has started appearing in Iphars as well as the portals leading to weird places.
The religion itself has been important to Naphilian so much that their government used to be a teocracy, until the Naphilian have started living in towns together with other species. In towns that Naphilian are the species with more individuals, it is still a teocracy but they have some buildings dedicated to be used to pray to other religions.
