Ithetalia

Ithetalia is an island from the Kliras archipelago covered in a forest brimming with diversity until some years ago, when a piece of land crashed into the island, destroying the island. Now, life is starting to reappear with signs of magical corruption.

Before the dawn

It used to be filled with a beautiful forest that held an impressive of diversity with all the subspecies that used to reside in here —both flora and fauna wise. It was considered a dangerous paradise, it had everything a town would need to prosper on it own, but it was also holding dangerous creatures and flora which made people's life hell.

At first, Ipharians tried to conquer this untouched place, and managed to build the bare bones of a fishing town in one of it beaches, but it didn't last long before they were forced to leave it behind and surrender on the idea of obtaining and conquering the island.

Ithetalia island, a place that was a beautiful forest with a big diversity (and a lot of subspecies only living here, both flora and fauna wise. But years ago, a piece of land falling from the sky crashed into the island, burning the forest, causing a lot of death and leaving the island bare for years. Now, life is starting to come back to the island, only to find out that the crashing was only the start and that magic has corrupted the island and its dead inhabitants.

The island, located in the middle of Kliras, used to be unfriendly to Ipharians; predators were too good at their job and Ipharians were only able to make towns in the beaches but after a couple towns, they decided it wasn't worth it and abandoned the island.

When the land crashed, it dragged itself through half the island before stopping. A big part of the forest and many animals that weren't fast enough died in the crash; many more died in the fires following the crash, and others died because lack of food as plants were all death.

A couple of years after the crash, the Dealathe started roaming the islands (although they were more decaying flesh than stones by then). And now, decades after the crash, flora seems to start growing again from the soil.

In the middle of the crash, ruins of a building are laying. Flora, while it covered the soil in the ruins, it doesn't seem to dare touching the walls (or what once were walls) or other things that aren't naturally made. The Dealathe seem to protect this place from both people and curious animals that might have reach the island.
