Branches of Ohmi

There are five branches to represent each element of ohmi's nature. The five branches are Terbis, Azuris, Sonis, Fernis, and Brio.
Terbis
Terbis is the first branch of ohmi, represented by the earthen Ohmites Terran and Gaia. Often associated with stability, fertility, and strength, Terbis aligns with the earth and its inhabitants, including soil, rocks, plants, fauna, and even minerals. Those who practice Terbis, also known as Geomancers, manipulate the physical aspects of the earth, shape landscapes, grow or wither plants, and even commune with forest spirits. Geomancers can cause earthquakes, raise or lower terrain, and communicate with creatures. They also possess the ability to reinforce structures and create earthen barriers.
Azuris
Azuris is the second branch of ohmi, represented by the water Ohmites Eira and Marinus. Azuris represents the element of water and its other forms, such as ice and vapor, and its symbolism as a conduit for emotions and healing. Hydromancers, practitioners aligned with Azuris, can control currents, freeze, evaporate, and purify water. They are also capable of controlling the weather.
Sonis
Sonis is the third branch of ohmi, represented by the air Ohmites Zephyr and Skai. Sonis embodies the element air, representing freedom, communication, and intellect. Aeromancers manipulate the invisible forces of wind, breath, and sound. They can summon gusts of wind, create destructive storms, enhance the speed of the physical form, and manipulate sound waves. With enough training, Aeromancers can even bend the air around them to fly.
Fernis
Fernis is the fourth branch of ohmi, represented by the fire Ohmites Canicus and Soleil. Fernis ohmi is the most passionate and volatile of the branches. It embodies the element of fire, representing passion, energy, destruction, and rebirth. Pyromancers can control flames, create lava flows, and even harness the sun's energy.
Brio
Brio is the fifth and final branch of ohmi, represented by the aether Ohmite Hyperion. It is the final branch of ohmi and embodies the spirit and forces beyond the physical world and material form. It’s the ethos of the Apeiron Cycle in Dendrohmi and is associated with vitality, growth, and the essence of life itself. Lumancers, or those who practice Brio, can manipulate ohmi to heal wounds, accelerate growth, and, under specific conditions, reanimate life. They can also create illusions.

Tenebre
Tenebre, the aether branch of death and time, is mostly ignored by many in Vanori as an official branch of ohmi. This is due in part to the Ohmite connected with it, Eris, and her association with death, decay, and the passage of time. In Vanori, the prevalent belief is in the Apeiron Cycle or the cycle of indeterminate life. Tenebre dismisses this belief, and it’s taboo to affiliate oneself with its teachings. Oracles and seers, however, are the exception to the stigma.   Chronomancers, or ohmi channelers who practice Tenebre, can manipulate the boundary between life, death, and the flow of time. Chronomancers can decay matter, communicate with spirits, distort time, perceive possible futures, and even temporarily rewind events. Tenebre is the most feared and respected for its power over perceiving the inevitable.
