Overview
The Swooning Hawk is a 500ft-long, 100ft-wide boat with a steel deck, and two masts, at the middle, and back of the boat. The top deck of the boat is made of steel, while everything below the deck is made of lightly-enchanted wood, for protection against weaker mundane scratching and damage. The ship takes a crew of approximately 50 people.
Specifications
The boat is capable of reaching speeds of about 60 knots at its fastest, but generally travels only at 30-40 knots along the sea, well over twice the speed of most Xorisean craft of the same size. This is due to the Electrical Elemental Engine powering the vessel using planar energy. When the elemental is tired, or particularly low energy, the sails are brought down to continue traveling forwards.
Crew
The Swooning Hawk is captained by Pauline Derrick, a Chaotic Good Halfling Pirate/Mercenary who sometimes works with Kaldreia for transportation when the Navy does not wish to risk their naval units. Pauline employs several other significant people to help manage the ship:
