Jack
Jack, formerly Jackson Barnes, is one of many entities found in the Hotel.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Medium strength, high stamina. Born with a congenital heart defect, which played a role in his death. Jack is a reanimated entity.
Body Features
Jack is a tall humanoid figure, partly obscured by darkness.
Facial Features
Half of his face (and some of his hair) is completely shadowed.
Special abilities
He's capable of some mild shapeshifting, although he can't completely change his anatomy or body shape. Jack also has an odd effect on some technology— radios, portable music players, and older phones within his vicinity might inexplicably start playing music he likes.
Mental characteristics
Employment
Jack worked as a scare actor for the Trinity Theatre Experience.
Personality Characteristics
Likes & Dislikes
Jack has a myriad of favorite songs, most of them unknown due to how vaguely he remembers them. His top picks are, apparently, "Material Girl" and "that song from Meet The Robinsons".
Social
Family Ties
Jack's only remaining family member is his mother, Theresa. Due to his heart defect, his mom was overprotective and very strict with the kinds of things that Jack could or couldn't enjoy, which only made him love horror more.
Relationships
Nicknames & Petnames
Jack will usually call Seek whatever comes to mind. "My man," "my buddy", "my best friend", etc. Seek doesn't call him anything but Jack.
Relationship Reasoning
Jack is just the kind of guy that grows on you.
Relationship Reasoning
It's not that Jack hates Figure, or anything like that. It's just that, sometimes, he gets this really bad feeling around it...
