Baal’s Gunsmith Shop is a marvel of fire and steel. The exterior is a squat, sturdy building, its walls reinforced with heavy iron plating salvaged from old ships and fortifications. Above the entrance, a battered metal sign in the shape of a pistol hangs from thick chains, swaying slightly in the sea breeze. The shop glows faintly at all hours, thanks to the steady flames that flicker through cracks in the walls and the forge light emanating from its enigmatic owner.

This rifle does force damage instead of piercing.

Architecture

The walls are reinforced with riveted iron panels, etched with swirling, flame-like motifs that glow faintly in the forge light. Large iron beams arch overhead, forming a vaulted ceiling reminiscent of a ship’s hull. Thick chains hang from these beams, suspending shelves of weapon parts and tools that dangle within Baal’s easy reach. The floor is rugged stone, worn smooth in places by the heavy tread of Baal’s footsteps and the passage of customers. It’s punctuated with metal grates through which excess heat from Baal’s chest-forge dissipates, filling the room with an ambient warmth. A massive workbench dominates the center of the space, its surface cluttered with intricate blueprints, weapon components, and glowing, rune-inscribed tools. The forge itself—Baal’s chest—serves as both a focal point and a functional centerpiece; when he forges, the entire shop seems to come alive, the glowing embers casting flickering shadows across the walls.   Niches in the walls house display cases that showcase Baal’s finest creations, each piece illuminated by cleverly positioned lanterns. Above the counter, a wrought-iron chandelier fashioned to resemble a tangle of firearms holds glowing crystals that cast a soft, smoky light over the shop. The atmosphere is both industrial and reverent, as if each firearm and blade is not just a weapon but a work of art born from the heat and discipline of Baal’s eternal craft.
