Second Moon

A second, smaller moon orbits the planet of Halika. This moon follows a complex and unnatural orbit and seems to dance around the original moon. The second moon has many culturally specific names and is a vibrant part of many mythologies. It is generally understood to be magical or divine in some way. This likely originates in the Second Moon's dramatic appearance in the year -100 Divine Era, a century before The Architects vanished. This event coincided with the Divine Scouring of Stildane and the Ederstone that rained from the sky did so from the emerging moon. The second moon holds special spiritual importance for Pearl Pangolins, who go to a special afterlife-plane on the Second Moon when they die. This is known as The Moonlands. The second moon's strange movements are essential to the operation of The Divine Contact and The Lunar Pantheon more broadly. This moon was created by The Chimera.
