Divine Era
The Divine Era refers to a period of time that ended two thousand years ago, when The Architects held power over the world as omniscient beings of unlimited power.
The Divine Era was an incredibly long period, constituting much of the copper and bronze ages of this world's history. The Architects barely perceived it as any time at all, as they existed apart from the world and were unbound by its nature.
The Divine Era ended with the Architects departing the world two thousand years ago, beginning the Modern Era. Time is measured in ME in this world's calendar to mark the number of solar years since this event occurred.
