Allseas Port

The Allseas Port is the Southeastern part of Halamahi and serves as the city's primary port and commercial district. This is a long, stretched out portion of the city, a sprawl of piers, drydocks, warehouses, shops, markets, and temporary housing blocks. In fact, it is so vast that a "colony" of sorts has developed to the East of the city named Point Niara for shops and dockyards looking for cheaper beachfront property.   This is a truly magnificent port, bustling with commerce and round-the-clock activity. Magical lighting (often produced by Continual Flame spells sealed in tightly-locked street lamps) allows for some shops, restaurants, and even entertainment to offer 24-7 services.   Not everything here is commerce and entertainment, of course. There are many working class neighborhoods here of dockworkers, porters, servants, sailors, and anglers.   There are a few locations of note here in the Allseas Port worth checking out:

• The House of Emesh, temple of the Lunar God of Knowledge Emesh, contains a hotel, library, bookstore, and tavern for the world-weary or the curious.
• The World's Delight Market is the grand bazaar of Halamahi and one of the most diverse global marketplaces on all of Halika
• The Observations Stockhouse is a financial building with lines of magical communication to major economic centers around the world - notably Asalay. This is primarily used for financial planning and business transactions.
• The Warcaller Postal Depot is a massive post office and mail hub run by the Warcallers - a branch of the Hanahai that handles intelligence, couriers, and espionage. This is also where 'Rakkovas', or auxiliary informants, drop off their news bundles for review and processing for the Warcallers.
