The Cosmic Gladiators are a paranatural vigilante group based in Westonhood. They operate out of the Federal Vigilante HQ, as part of their dedication to transparency and public accountability. Formed as an alternative to the state-sanctioned The Board, the team is known for its ethical principles and focus on serving the public good.

Public Agenda

The Cosmic Gladiators believe that paranatural beings should integrate into society through openness and accountability. They reject secrecy and elitism, operating with the belief that trust can only be built through transparency. The team views their powers and abilities as tools for service, not superiority, and holds themselves to strict ethical standards. The Gladiators are committed to equality and inclusivity, working to bridge gaps between humans, meta-humans, and paranaturals. They aim to use their platform not only to combat threats but also to create a society where paranaturals are protected and given the same rights as others. Their advocacy extends to legislative reforms, public education campaigns, and direct community engagement. While they are fiercely independent, the Cosmic Gladiators remain open to collaboration with any individuals or groups that align with their principles, ensuring their actions reflect their mission to serve the greater good.

History

The Cosmic Gladiators were founded by Morgan Sunscar and Kason Rushing. Dissatisfied with the actions of the Board of Triumph following the callous resurrection of Uncle Sam, they sought to create a team built on honesty and a commitment to protecting the people of Ghostwood. Morgan and Kason began by recruiting others who shared their values and paranatural origins. Luben Benally was the first to join after crossing paths with the founders during a vigilante conference. Impressed by his abilities and rare access to Lunar Magic, they invited him to join. Fira Valenwood entered the team through a dimensional rift that opened in Westonhood. Seeking sanctuary on Earth, she aligned herself with the Gladiators after explaining her need to stop her realm’s ruler from crossing into the human world. Zenna Twillen joined the team following a personal encounter with Kason. After falling gravely ill, Kason had an out-of-body experience, wandering the spirit world. Zenna found his lost soul and guided him back to his body. After returning to the physical world, Zenna followed him, believing in the team’s mission to do good. By 1994, the Cosmic Gladiators were fully assembled and began operating out of the Federal Vigilante HQ in Westonhood.
