Wrodhley
The Eorldom of Wrodhley (prn. ruth-lee) is the country to the east of Moray. It is one of two surviving Orthnaran administrative divisions in Boriya, and is still subdivided into its traditional Thegndoms.
Wrodhley is ruled by one of the last of the Immortal Giants, Eorl Haughten Wroth. Wroth lies slumbering beneath Highwroth Keep in the mountainous Thegndom of the same name, but acts as the divine patron of his own ancestors, the Wroth Dynasty and Thegns of Highwroth.
Most of Wrodhley's giants live in Highwroth, while the Thegndoms of Wyldren and Undermount are largely populated by giantings and Giant-Kin. They owe direct fealty to the Eorl, and elect their own Thegns at an annual council called the Thing. While in theory equal to the Thegn of Highwroth, in practice the Thegns of Wyldren and Undermount answer to the Wroth Dynasty in all but strictly internal matters. Wyldren has a mixture of mountains and forests, and the centre of the Eorldom's mining works. Undermount is mostly forested hills in the north and west, and grasslands in the south and east, where great numbers of cattle and sheep are tended by giant-kin herders.
The wild hill country of the Thegndom of Galedowns is ruled by a hereditary dynasty of Gnomes, in sacred pact with a god from the Northern Wylds known as the Clarion's Echo. The Quicksilver Dynasty are one of the most independent in Wrodhley, and many anticipate a declaration of independence sooner rather than later.
Kalmouth is a wooded country, straddling the river Kal as it runs to the sea. The port city of Kalthriel lies at the mouth of the river, and is home to the Elven Dynasty of the same name, including members of both the sea and woodland kindreds, as well as a colony of Eldanaran traders. Thegn Kalthriel of Kalmouth has long enjoyed the favour of the Eorl.
Broadley is a thegndom of open plains and downs, home to a wide mix of Lineages. It is ruled by a dynasty of human and giant-kin descent.
