Forbidden
The Forbidden are often characterised as 'evil' gods, but are more accurately those deities whose worship is proscribed by the state and the church because they are opposed either to the status quo, or to the very principles of an ordered society.

- Rivals - gods who represent an alternative social order;
- Warlock patrons - those who empower individuals for their own ends, instead of giving their support to the formal structure of a church and state;
- Rebel gods - those deities whose worship involves acts of civil disobedience and rebellion;
- Malevolent - gods whose worship involves acts of murder, destruction or cruelty.
