Wreck of the barrel scrapers bootleg train

The wreck of the barrel scrapers bootleg train refers to an incident in which the Barrel Scrapers were using one of their two bootleg trains along the Elven Network Trade Route in order to transport a large shipment of Contraband Items. This train, called the marauder, was the first train to be built and was forged by the groups engineer Splat using a decommissioned royal train and scavenged parts from the The Elven Undercity.  The train was comprised of six driving wheels, eight supporting bogie wheels, one chimney and a cristaline engine powered by power crystals.  On the day of the wreck a number of scrapers were sent to escort the train from its origin at Umpton to its destination of Rakside among the crew was Asper and the sorceror Wylde who was being blackmailed by the scrapers for the medical aid they provided to him during the Siege on the Wordon Homestead, in which he was saved from his mortal wounds by Asper and nursed back to health. This was at the insistence of Vassidy Whitlow, the leader of the Barrel Scrapers, who insisted that Wylde join the operation due to his magic and increasing pressure from officials monitoring the tunnels.    The next morning the train left Umpton and from here events become murky. What is known is that at some point prior to entering the first chamber of the eleven under city, Wylde forcefully pushed Asper off the train, they sustained minor sprains but were unharmed otherwise. The train was destroyed between The Keep and Rakside by extensive damage to the hull and roof of the train, the crystalline engine was torn from the frame and all of the Marauder's passengers were gone. It was assumed that Wylde too disappeared during this event until sightings of him surfaced several months later around the area of Hermit’s Hovel. The train was sent to Sloan Du Mar in Zentawen for initial assessment who found scotch marks on the interior of the train and it's cargo miraculously intact.   Vassidy suspects that Wyldevis either responsible for tampering with the train or is keeping vital information regarding the event. She has put an order out to her scrapers that if they see Wylde they are to bring him to her to deal with.
