Splat

Splat is the happy-go-lucky mechanic of the Barrel Scrapers and one of Vassidy Whitlow’s most trusted colleagues. Splat has an affinity for fixing things be it weapons, crystal technology or even the Barrel Scrapers trains, which Splat lovingly outfitted himself so that the Gand could make use of the Elven Network Trade Route.   Splat is technically an enforcer but rarely leaves the base as his whole job revolves around fixing machinery. He like all Trow Goblins is small of stature but he also sustained a serious injury to his leg some years ago requiring him to use a cane to ambulate.   Splat met Vassidy when he was contracted into a workhouse and working tirelessly under brutal conditions. Here, he sustained a machine-related injury which led to the amputation of his leg. When the wound became infected he was sent die in a back alley goblin clinic. It was here that Vassidy arrived with Asper in tow in order to courier medical supplies and Splat was able to diagnose an issue with Vassidy's wrist cannon. Vassidy seeing Splat's potential had Asper split the infection with him Saving his life but making Asper sick in the process. After the two recovered Splat was intergrated as a core member of the team and took on many of the fixing and mechanic tasks. Going as far a re-outfitting two decommissioned royal trains to serve their smuggling operations making them smaller, faster and insetting hidden compartments. The Barrel Scrapers would keep these trains until one would be destroyed during the wreck of the barrel scrapers bootleg train.   Splat is close with both Asper and with Morturn. He tend to spen a lot of time with Morturn as both of them work consistently at the base. Splat is good-natured and even tempered which helps to balance out the other two when they get into fights. Asper and Morturn rarely work well together but with Splat keeping them line they make a well-rounded team. As both of them value Splat and his opinion.

Naming

Like many Trow Goblins Splat has two names. His birth name is Zol Grig, a combination of his parents names as most goblins are. But as for his second name instead of traditionally adopting it from a attribute or profession like most goblins do he named himself after his injury. Splat having a bit of a warped sense of humor, named himself Splat after the noise his leg made as it as severed. He insists to the horror of other scrapers that it was funny at the time.
