Planar Space
The planar space in which Eumaea is a part is broken down into a number of different planes that represent the different aspects of reality. Each plane may contain any number of realms, which are physical universes. Travel between realms of the same plane is very difficult, and can only be achieved with powerful magic, and traveling across planes is even more difficult.
- The Primordial Plane - The plane of Energy and Entropy, the two fundamental forces of the universe.
- The Celestial Plane - The plane in which the deities reside, and includes the realms created by each deity.
- The Astral Plane - A plane of pure thought that separates the Celestial Plane from the lower planes. Found here is the realm of Purgatory where the souls of the dead are judged.
- The Ethereal Plane - The plane where order is imposed upon matter to form structures and beings. This is where Eumaea and other material realms are located.
- The Elemental Plane - This plane houses the basic building blocks of matter, and has a separate realm for each.
