Abyss

The Abyss is a realm on the Celestial plane that was created by Azagog. It is the home of the Abyss Spawn. It is largely a black void with small areas of cold land masses that have drifted here from other realms over the eons. Azagog resides here, and can control the physical nature of the Abyss at will. Fortunately for creatures that reside here, Azagog's mind is so vast that it doesn't even process the existence of smaller creatures. Living creatures who are cursed to die, are killed by an Abyss spawn, or who are damned to this tortuous place manifest here as thin wispy spirits that can do little on their own but float aimlessly through the swirling blackness.
