Emperor Magno Taluus
Magno Taluus is the current Emperor of Allesend. He ascended to the throne in 450 AE when his father and predecessor, Emperor Venusto, passed away due to old age. He is the only child of Venusto.
Magno is a controversial emperor, unlike his father. Since his ascension to the throne, with the help of the Royal Party in Parliament, he has passed legislation granting more power to the noble class and the Imperial Retinue.
On 12 August, 452 AE, the Third Moon disappeared from the night sky. Following this, citizens in Allesar rioted on the streets for weeks, claiming that God-Emperor Alles-Taluus was passing judgment on Magno for his anti-citizen policies. A new vocal minority began to grow as the Populist Party, calling for the dissolution of the Emperor's position entirely. Growing tensions have led many to whisper about Magno's ability to maintain power.
