Summary
On the evening of 12 August, 452 AE, the three moons of Essaria rose into the night sky, all at their full phase. Around midnight, without any warning, the Third Moon simply ceased to exist.
Across the world, panic ensued. Riots and uprisings occurred in many cities across Allethra. Slowly, as it became clear that the Third Moon's disappearance was having no effect on the physical world, order was restored and life returned to normal. Nevertheless, the foundations of the world were shaken by the event.
