House Shieldwryte is a minor noble family in Faloriand and is a sworn vassal of House Ryswell. Their ancestral holdings are in Maplecrest, which currently serves as the border of Ryswell's fiefdom.
Shieldwryte has changed alliances between House Ryswell and House Fayr over the centuries. As a border lord on the highway, their position is of utmost importance during times of strife between the two fiefdoms. Shieldwryte has always ensured that they're getting the best deal out of the bargain. However, their proximity to Howlester means that they tend to side more often with them.
