House Fayr
House Fayr is a major noble family in Faloriand. It holds the greatest amount of land in the northern portion of the region, and is the seat of the Northern Bishopric. It has been a major power in the nation for almost a thousand years and is one of the only remaining Houses that participated in the original Monarch election in Erminster around 900 BE.
It is currently ruled by Derrock Fayr from the city of Shardboare. House Fayr also holds the city of Clovewind.

Non-interaction
House Caern and House Fayr have had an unstated agreement to not interfere in one another's issues for decades. They mostly ignore one another.
Uneasy peace
House Ryswell has always had an uncomfortable relationship with House Fayr, ever since the latter attempted to seize the former's holdings shorly after overthrowing House Payge almost 500 years ago. Since then, the two have fought countless minor skirmishes and wars, with neither gaining significant ground over the other.
Despite his attempts to develop a lasting peace with House Fayr, Lord Bradyn Ryswell was barely able to begin talks with the neighboring House.
Open conflict
The local lord at Dawnfield swore allegiance to House Fayr in 452 AE, just after the Third Moon's disappearance. Their previous liege, House Forde, retaliated by occupying the castle. The two Houses have fought numerous skirmishes over the past few years.
