Elvyra de Ascolia
Elvyra de Ascolia is an Alln politician serving as the Prime Minister of Allesend. A member of the Progressive Party, Elvyra has pushed forward legislation increasing the power and freedom of the non-nobility of Allesend.
Born in Ascolia to the owner of a wine shipping company and a member of Alln Parliament, Elvyra spent her formative years learning about politics. She accompanied one of her mothers to Allesar starting at a young age, and would often watch the proceedings of the government. When she came of age, Elvyra was elected deputy mayor of Ascolia, serving as the commoner leader under the noble mayor. She achieved many victories for the non-nobility by lowering taxes and increasing representation in government.
Elvyra was elected as Ascolia's representative to Parliament in 435 AE. She joined the Progressive party and became a rising star for commoner's rights. After the disappearance of the Third Moon, Elvyra led the charge for sweeping reforms in national security, requiring a higher percentage of commonborn officers in both the Alln military and in town guards across the country. Her efforts won her the Prime Minister position in 455 AE, where she has leveraged her position against Emperor Magno to continue pushing for more power in the hands of the common folk, despite his efforts to expand his imperial powers.
