Guild Headquarters of the Guild of Esoteric Law

The Guild Headquarters and University of Esoteric Arts is located on the upper city of Daranmax. The University Principal is Namia el Nazhia University Principal Daranmax while the Guild Master is Ralersin, Lore keeper to The King of the Tylwyth Teg. The Guild master has been permanently "hired" by King Karonus of Urtind as the State Wizard.     The Inner Circle of the Guild includes all members of Rank 7 or higher (College Principals, University Principal, Guild Syndics and the Guild Master) currently totaling 22 members. They meet once a year starting the day after the summer solstice.   At the University there are University Principal (ML 9, Int 18), Namia el Nazhia five (5) Esoteric Arts Lecturers (ML 8, Int 16) 3 to 5 Master Wizards (ML 4+) conducting various forms of research 6 Journeymen Mages (ML 2+) and 7 apprentices (ML 1) Materia Lecturers 23 Scribes and 14 Scholars   The University in the Daranmax supports several areas of learning: Materia Magicka Materia Medicina Lore Historica Lore Scientific Lore Geography   Languages available at the University and availability of a teacher: Urtish, Pedrandir, Mage Tongue, Low Draconish, (100%), Anderian, Low Taratin, Haeflish, Khazdhun 80%, Jakool, Carabish, Moorabic 65%, Valanian, High Taratin, Horngolosh, High Draconish, Sverdish, Gaelsh 50% ) This is due to other commitments and obligations which the college has. The Old languages can also be learned however most teachers are busy with their own research and availability is limited (20%).     All of the above are available at varying levels of mastery (most can be taught to level 2, 90% chance) few can be taught beyond level 4 (20% chance, 30% for Leon). All of the above are available by self study in various books and reading material that PC’s can use to learn from at all levels (it is impossible to learn how to speak a language from a book). NOTE: there is a secret section of the University library which contains Controlled and Dark material and only the University Principal and the Inner circle of the Guild knows its location. Access is controlled and ONLY when 3 members of the Inner Circle are present and present a drop of their blood are they allowed access to this Sanctuary.   Use of the libraries Mundane or Esoteric books can be obtained with donations to the college and as well as a successful interview with the Head Scribe (BIF 34). The rates to use the library for research/learning are 240p per level being researched. i.e. researching a level 4 skill would cost 4 x 240 = 960 p while a level 10 spell research would cost 10 x 240 = 2,400 p
