Daranmax

Daranmax is the summer capitol of the Kyndom of Urtind. Its origin was over 1,000 years ago and pre-dates the the formation of the Ursine Dynasty by Bara Ursine. He chose Daranmax as his capitol after the empire was formed. Its population has changed over time and its peak was just before the great plague at over 60,000 people. Now the city is home to barely 22,000 and many of its districts contain ruins or abandoned buildings.

The city is divided into districts with the main divide being the upper and lower city. The Upper City contains several prominent buildings including: the Royal Palace Daranmax, Guild Headquarters of the Guild of Esoteric Arts also known as the University of Light as well as the Palace of the Holy Revorn, the Church of Urto Daranmax and several residences of prominant people.
