Central square Daranmax

The central square has four large gates similar in size as the processional gates but without the barracks on either side. There is a colonnade around the perimeter of the square that fronts all of the buildings. There are stalls under these colonnades as well as temporary stalls scattered around the square proper. There is some mixing of culture here. Merchants from Solda, Northdown Replublic and the Baronies. At the larger festival days merchants from as far away as Milthar, the Ruby Mountains and Vinlon will set up stalls or have their merchandise displayed by local  merchants.     The square itself has seven statues as well as two fountains and three wells. The largest of the statues is the statue of Beleryn with her consort, Hyandis, taking a knee beside her and her children seated at her feet.   The other statues are a collection of the various Kyngs of Urtind the two most prominent being the founder of the Empire of Urtind Bara Ursine and the second being the founder of the Raas Dynasty, Artair Raas.
