Manasaputras
Early in the creation of the universe, the Manasputras are those who were born not in the traditional way but instead by springing from the mind of Brahma the Creator! Their name means mind-born sons, springing from the thoughts and ideas of Brahma (Luxis) himself, most of which were inspired by the creative works of his wife, Saraswati (Lithmor)! The Prajapatis, progenitors and guides for all creation, are also among the Manasputras, split further between the Four Kumaras ( Charnos) and the Saptarishis (Kanilwyr) or Seven Great Sages. Other individual Manasputra include Daksha (Ilnid), Nirrti (Dalyeric), Adharma (Malok) and Dharmadeva (Krithda). Daksha in particular fathered more than 60 daughters, marrying them off in groups to different entities. Most notable of these marriagers were the 28 Nakshastras to Chandra (Sylthari) and both Aditiand Diti among others to Kashyapa, the father of all creatures! |

Enlightened, wise, knowledgable and detached, these four rishis are renowned as yogis who are forever frozen at five years old at their own request! The kumeras are fervent followers of both Vishnu and the path of bhakti-yoga--enlightenment through devotion. They swore vows of celibacy called brahmacharya despite Brahma's disaproval, roamining the universe together and desiring only to teach the Vedahs. |
