Waldemar Estate
The Waldemar Estate is a mansion built into the Syrneth ruins inside the Walder Forest. It is home to a conclave of vampirs who make hunting trips through the Walder and beyond to hunt the blood they need to survive.
Purpose / Function
The Estate was originally created by an Eisen lord to house his family. He built the manor into the Syrneth ruins he found deep in the forest. As time went on, the forest became more dangerous, and the mansion was abandoned. An unknown number of years later, a group of vampirs moved into the estate, using it as a base of operations and a place where they could avoid conflicts with monster hunters.
Alterations
The mansion has fallen somewhat into disrepair over the years, but the current vampir inhabitants keep it maintained enough that it is in no danger of collapsing. Many of the rooms (especially the storage rooms) are dusty and quiet, but most of the livable space inside is in good condition.
