While outsiders often stereotype them as cryptic, lazy, or aloof, these characteristics only scratch the surface of their complexity. Cat Folk experience a wide range of emotions and often express a calm, poised demeanor that masks keen intellect and sharp instincts.
They are nimble climbers and swift runners, though contrary to the myth—they don't always land on their feet. Nonetheless, they possess an innate sense of balance and adaptability that makes them well-suited for life in varied environments.

Anatomy
Cat Folk are bipedal humanoids covered in short, fine fur. They have triangular ears atop their heads, slitted pupils, whiskers, and feline facial features. Their arms end in five-fingered hands tipped with retractable claws, and their digitigrade legs give them strong leaping power. A tail, varying in length and fluffiness, extends from their lower back.

In most circumstances, they will also begin to establish their identity and become less reliant on their parents.
- From the ages of 23 to 174, they are in their adulthood, their bodies have matured, and they have a good sense of what their natural magic will do. It will continue to develop as they age, but in most cases, it has a set of talents.
- From 175 to roughly 213 years of age, they are elders; their bodies have gradually begun to slow down and become weaker, as have their magical talents if they are not kept up with.
