Palace of the Flame
The seat of power of the Emirate since its founding, the Palace of the Flame was originally rebuilt in the ruins of an ancient empire's temple and has been added to several times over the course of the nation's history.
Purpose / Function
The seat of power of the Emirate, the Palace of the Flame is a massive structure comprising of several buildings. At its center is the Temple of the First Flame, where it is said that, in the past, denizens from the Elemental Plane of Fire would cross over into the Material Plane. The palace houses the royal apartments for the prime royal family, and some of the extended royal family live in outer buildings either in or around the palace. It is the home of the Ember Throne and the royal court of Emir Hatem Matouf.
