Zubia (Zoo-bee-a)
The wild winds of the Dunes hides the most shiniest of Diamonds
Zubia, the mysterious land in the middle. The land where everyone comes in and never comes out. The land where Kaura's hot rays of the sun pierce even the night. Zubia is a country that throughout history has chosen to stay neutral to everything that has happened in Sorashana. Zubia is as well also one of the first civilizations to emerge along with The Khalastar in Sorashana.
"No many even know that the dunes of Zubia is more than just a dangerous desert, but the vast exspansive population and civilization that is Zubia, is light years ahead of what many current societies are. It is enderring and yet frieghtning at the same time" - Travolta Armnistice, The Al Hikma.
Zun Ma'rak, The Center Of The Dunes
The vast, hot and lonely expanse is but only one part of the Dunes of Zubia, the other is a highly cultured, well-educated and highly developed city of sandstone, gold and jewellery. Many dare not take the track through the barren sand wasteland and especially due to the other part of Zubia based on the living city Zun Ma'rak is hidden and secret.
Zun Ma'rak on the other hand is also place where many of its inhabitants dare not even speak of travelling out of the city. The governing Pharoah has made it very expcilit to give out the information to the public that any inhabitin travelling out of Zubia without a permit or specific orders will be seen as a fugitive and will be hunted down by the Kahn Al Qatash.
"The pharoah family of Septet has lived for many years and seen many events unfold within Sorashana. Civilzations fall and begining has all been overseen by Zubia and Septet family, one can only dare to wonder much of it has been influnced by them" - Lazarus Titan, a might wizard and a greater historian on Zubia
The capital Zun Ma’rak was created in the year 1438 before The Spellplague. Zun Ma’rak has since grown bigger and bigger over time and for Zubians everywhere it is the center of the world. Zun Ma’rak is a big city with approx. 600,000 inhabitants. The streets are always full of people trying to sell off the crops they have now been able to grow but otherwise one also finds the Zubian military, Ral Qatsh. In Zubia there are large numbers of people in the middle class, approx. 60%, approx. 20% in the high class and finally there is 5% in the social lower class. The last 15% of the population work for the Pharaoh. This is a special social class since no one within it makes money, they are given food, drink and a place to live within the palace. The middle class, the high class and the special royal class all live within Zun Ma’rak in different sized houses and a few mansions here and there, all of which have been built around or from the Pharaoh’s Palace.
Ancient history Beneath The Sands
The Pharaoh of Zubia is currently a Zubian human woman, named Mesta Septet. Mesta was appointed pharaoh in the year 351 and at that time she was 9 years old. Throughout her life, she has always had her supreme adviser or Al Hikma, a foreigner known as The Cardinal Wanderer. Rumour says that he also bears the name, Travolta Armistice. In public, however, he is referred to as Al Hikma. The Septet family and Al Hikma have known each other for a long time, no one knows specifically how long but one knows that many of the pharaohs who came before Mesta all had the same supreme adviser, Al Hikma.
All power in Zubia lies with the pharaoh, but the pharaoh has always had at least one adviser that has guided the pharaoh in his or her decisions and choices. This advice has usually come from different parts of Zubia's institutions. The institutions and their current influence starting from 1, being very influential, are the following:
- The Pharaoh is the person that solely has the governing power and governs the country. Throughout the ages, pharaohs have always had advicers and other educated people under them, whom the Pharaoh has individually enacted in their respective institutions. Some Pharaohs has given more power to e.g. the economical part of the government, while other Pharaohs have given more power to the military, Ral Qatash. The distribution of power will always change from pharaoh to pharaoh. The current pharaoh is Mesta Septet, the youngest of the Septet family, which is also the Pharaoh family. They have been the family that over time has held the governing power and the position of Pharaoh.
- Al Hikma has been a counselor for the Septet family for unimaginable amounts of time. Al Hikma has specefically in the Mesta Era gained more power than he usually does. Often many of the decisions Pharaoh Mesta has made have been confirmed to be good decisions by Al Hikma. He does not have a specific area within the government of the country he as such governs, but he has suggestions and opinions about everything. However, Al Hikma has always taken a keen interest in protecting something that goes by the name The Aspects Of Balance and keeping them secret.
- Al Mal Yatan Is the group of people who make sure that Zubias continues to grow both financially but also in infrastructure and culture. They keep an eye out for historical figures being documented, that all Zubians have a place to live to some degree and to keep Zubia financially independent from the outside world. Al Mal Yatan is ruled by 4 people who all come from the same zubian human family, the Ubara family. Al Mal Yatan consists of Balarathu, Alqatar, Qul and Iltani Ubara. They are known for having more or less renovated the whole of Zun Ma’rak and thereby made sure that many of the poorest of people, had been given a job and thereby became better off financially. This great process is known as The Ubaran Spring.
- Ral Qatash is the military force in Zubia, including everything from the public military to the pharaoh's bodyguard. The Royal Guard is relatively special as it is the only military force sent outside Zubia for guarding missions. The Royal Guard have been hiding in the public space by disguise themselves in crimson red clothes and maskes posing as a bandit group called The Raiders Of Delihah, led by Delihah Zaeza. They have actually built up so much of a cover that many believe that The Raiders Of Delihah is the only moral assassin-gang, one can find in Sorashana. The Raiders Of Delihah allegedly only has killed if it was morally right. However this more due to the leader of Ral Qatash, the Kahn Al Qatash, who specifically has certian duties to fullfill. Ral Qatash must protect knowledge about The Aspects Of Balance from everyone except the Pharaoh, Al Hikma and Kahn Al Qatash. Ral Qatash must protect the Pharaoh and Zubia from the outside world. Ral Qatash must protect Zubias secrecy by hunting and kill fugitive Zubians.
- Kultalar Karura is the highest priests of Karura, who ensure Zubia's worship of Kaura and for Kaura to continue to be satisfied with obelisks and other sacred buildings erected in her name. Karura is a god of the sun and it is said that her burning glow illuminates everything that is dark in this world and strikes it back with a raging heat of the sun itself. Within the pantheon of sun goddess Karura, there is also a lot of a minor gods such as Anubis and Sobek who stand for other aspects of daily life, such as death and successful harvest. Many of the lesser gods are specifically dedicated to being a specific place in Zubia while Karura is everywhere and is all seeing. However, there are few gods associated with Karura who, like her, are hard to pin down somewhere, such as Horus The Heir or Set The False Idol. The leader of high priesthood is currently a Yuan Ti Pure Blood named Zima Szozesti.
"Ral Qatash is an orgnazation of hidden honor, and then you dare show your face?! What madness is this? Have you forgotten your duty and role as a part of Ral Qatash and as apart of the royale guard!" - Qadir Mem'zela, a former Kahn Al Qatash, on Nadda Seghir, another former Kahn Al Qatash.
A note from Garry Berry Hart On Zubia:
"It's one of the hottest places in the world, so hot in fact that I began halucinating! I swear that I saw the god of deciet, Set in the barren wastelands of Thyr's Krak when I entered the Dunes"

Trade Treaty
The country of Zubia and the B.I.A.C has agreed to have a mutual trade of information, however, what they use this information to is completely up to them. The trade assailant for Zubia is a Yuan-Ti Pureblood by the name Hehsnu. Hehsnu goes by the title of Safir Hehsnu. The trade assailant for B.I.A.C is a human by the name Jaspar Giddyoen. Jaspar Giddyoen goes by the title of Agent Giddyoen.
Neutral
Many Zubian fugitives first travel to Prim Isla to seek refuge before going onward to other parts of the world. They do this to gain diplomatic immunity.
Distrust
The enigmatic, insular nation of Zubia, where the sun's heat pervades day and night, views Tenarius as a harbinger of conflict. Zubia believes that Tenarius's actions are likely to instigate disturbances in Sorashana.
