Zimzankatan

Zimzankatan is perhaps one of the weirdest settlements in all of E'ath. This settlement is home to the gnomes and while their origin lies in the first world it seems they are increasingly becomming less aligned with nature. While they certainly do not harm the nature around them and allow it to flourish they are reckless in their inventiveness which often result in their own death. Perhaps this recklessness is a relic from the chaotic nature of the first world but it is undeniable that their inventions have huge potential.   Their most recent inventions are hot air balloons which are capable of flying in the sky without the use of magic. Unfortunately they are difficult to land which sometimes forces the crew to abondon the balloon, using magic to land, and wait for the winds to bring it down again. Another risk of the balloon is their other invention: rockets. These things fly in a straight path towards whatever they are aimed at. While the gnomes have yet to come up with a practical use for them they have held several competitions in things like highest flight but since they are almost impossible to control once launched they often hit balloons which fatally fall to the earth.
