Tehanti Party for Social Revolution
The Tehanti Party for Social Revolution was a communist republican party in the Republic of Tehant. As the communist and labor union movements surged in popularity after the failed Tehanti Future Coup, the Party for Social Revolution made the creation of a new constitution a core demand of their platform.
When the Red Week came, the Party for Social Revolution won the elections of 1332 but only be a narrow margin. The Tehanti Democratic Party attempted to block them from power, sparking widespread revolt. The labor unions and communists fought back, ushering in the Second Tehanti Revolution.
When the dust settled, the Party for Social Revolution was in power, and they began the process of writing a new constitution and a vast program of redistribution and socialization of industry. The new structure of the Tehanti Council Republic would be centered around a congress of workers councils. Ultimately, with the completion of the political restructuring in 1334 CE, the Party for Social Revolution dissolved itself, as party politics were banned. However, most of the leadership of the party were integrated into the workers councils and the new congress.
