Sorfaitan Revolution of 1193
In Sorfait in 1193, declining economic conditions of the working class, tension between the growing land-owning middle class and the aristocracy, and political inequality led to a revolution against the Sorfaitan Council of Princes. The revolution was ultimately successful, bringing about a new liberal republic. This conflict is seen as part of the Wellspring of Nations.
The Eternal Flame, a cult to Ahrn-Okoth, had a great deal of power within the Sorfaitan aristocracy. Following the revolution, the cult was outlawed and hunted. Most of its members fled, and a significant portion of them were part of the colonization of the Farkellian Archipelago and the creation of the Hallowed Lands.
