QeC Model 1323

The QeC Esipo 1323 is an air-cooled medium machine gun produced by Quattrozo and Chapelle Designs. This MMG is popularly known as the "Potato Digger" due to the gas lever that swings in a vertical plane below the gun. The Loritanian aerial forces adopted it for their airborne infantry, who used it to put down colonial uprisings in Eaorma.   The Model 1323 feeds from a 120-round non-disintegrating cloth belt (7.4 lbs., or 20 lbs. for two belts in a wooden box) and mounts on a 57-lb. tripod (2550 G) or a 146-lb. two-wheeled landing carriage.   The Model 1323 is produced in many calibers. Sorfait acquired it in 6.5x52mm Barre; the Republic of Tehant in 7x57mm Tehanti; Drizhni and the Kingdom of Campeni in 7.62x54mm LaRue-Kollar; Brevia in 7.65x53mm MSN; and Dorn and Hellissandur in .303 Dornish.

The R.B. S1342, adopted by the IJU Union Force, is an improved version of the Model 1323.
