QeC M1301

The QeC M1301 is a single-shot, breechloading rifle produced by Quattrozo and Chapelle Designs. The Loritanian military issued it as their primary service rifle almost up to the beginning of the Last War. It was also issued to other militaries across Duurn, including Kaisa and Drizhni.   The M1301 is sensitive to fouling and poor-quality ammunition; the extractor can slip off the expended cartridge and leave it stuck in the action. This is usually only a problem in rapid fire and with soft-cased cartridges. Unfortunately, Loritania issued soft, copper-cased ammo until the early 1320s. On a malfunction, a stoppage indicates a stuck case that must be pried out using a knife or a screwdriver, taking six Ready maneuvers.   The M1301 takes a 1-lb. socket bayonet (Reach 1, 2*).   QeC also produced a carbine version, the M1301 Carbine, which was better suited to cavalry and fired the weaker .45-55 QeC.   M1301 Carbine stats:
