Battle of Liripo

The Battle of Liripo was the second major battle of the Last War and a decisive victory for the Kaisan Army and Umbrova.

After the Battle of Toca, the Imperial Jiderani Union (IJU) troops had pushed into Umbrova, while Kaisa and Umbrova prepared to meet them near the village of Liripo. The Kaisan troops faked a retreat after initial contact with the IJU, who pursued them. Kaisan aerostats and flanking divisions encircled the IJU forces, and the IJU troops were forced into the Backwards March.

After this battle, many in the Humanist League were convinced they would win this war quickly and easily. They were quickly proven wrong after the Battle of Deculpa.
