Atvo III
Atvo III (Mirsad Atvo Jovica) is the Emperor of Drizhni. He was coronated in 1345 CE following the assassination of his mother, Emperor Zdrishle II.
One of his first actions as emperor was to bring Drizhni into the Last War on the side of the Rising Powers Pact. This was against his mother's wishes, who wanted to align the nation with the Humanist League but thought entering the war would be too great a risk. Atvo III is known as a brash and arrogant man. He greatly opposed the minor political reforms that his mother made and has worked to strip most of them back, returning power to the hands of the Emperor.
Under his reign, treatment of the Määhe has only worsened. In eastern Drizhni, the Määhe are being forcibly relocated and targeted with pogroms, supported by Atvo III. Resistance by Määhe guerillas, ongoing for more than a century, has intensified during his rule. The inflamed conflict has become known as the Drizhni Storms.
