Warriors

Branch Purpose: Hold lines, control perimeters, move civilians, and keep the Vigil standing when breaches become battles.
Branch Authority Notes: Warriors enforce cordons, quarantines, and evacuations under Accords writ. They do not override containment veto, but they do control the ground when minutes matter.
Mandate: Hold the line when breaches become fronts and protect the living while containment work is done.
Operating Style: Disciplined, formation-minded, and unglamorous. Warriors build cordons, defend bastions, escort sealed cargo, and keep evacuation corridors open under pressure. They treat fear as a resource to be managed: clear commands, drilled procedure, steady pace—because panic spreads faster than Riftspawn.
Jurisdiction & Authority: Warriors impose curfews and cordons under Accords writ, command evacuations in declared perimeters, and seize vital supplies for containment operations. Their authority ends where a Mage declares a containment veto that would turn the battlefield into a plague zone.
Typical Members: Hardened fighters who can follow protocol under terror, hold position when reality bends, and keep others moving when they would rather freeze. Temperament tends steady, blunt, and protective.
Outsider Contact: Most people meet Warriors at checkpoints, on escort columns, and behind shield-lines—the visible edge of Warden authority.
  Signature Work:
  • Defending strongholds, outposts, and evacuation routes.
  • Escorting Circles, Supplicants, and sealed transports.
  • Establishing hardened lines around breach-zones and thin places.
Branch Sign/Mark: A tower-notch detail worked into the medallion crossguard or ring.
