Summary

The party found themselves in a moment of profound mystical revelation as Shadow picked up the orb that resembled other ruled orbs they had encountered before. Time seemed to Slow around them as magical energy washed over the room, closing the portals that had been their enemies' means of reinforcement. In this suspended moment, each party member experienced visions and revelations about their past and abilities.   Sas heard a telepathic whisper expressing gratitude, and discovered that a young Myconid had been secretly traveling with her spores since she visited their home. The fungal creature sought to establish a new colony in the underground swamp and communicated its plans telepathically. Sas realized she had been unconsciously spreading spores across different worlds like Johnny Appleseed, leaving traces of life wherever the party had traveled.   Shadow received mystical knowledge about their Swarmkeeper path and their deep connection to Artie the Owlbear. They learned that Artie could become part of their swarm, functioning as a unique Familiar, and gained the ability to wild shape into an Owlbear once per day. The revelation explained why Artie had always been so gentle despite being an Owlbear, and how their bond had been guided by forces beyond their understanding.   Bastion reflected on the Elf Soul connection within them and realized that Grognard had been their grandfather in this timeline. They discovered a Bronze Dragon spirit within them tied to Remington, which granted them additional Draconic healing abilities when using their protective wings. The complex Web of souls and connections began to make more sense as the magical moment revealed hidden truths.   Calliope found herself transported to a circular room similar to the Yuan-ti dungeon, where a table held a cup, a twenty-sided die, and a flute. When she played the flute, incorporating melodies from Barlo's sheet music, she received divine abilities from Tymora, the goddess of luck. The goddess granted her the power to force re-rolls once per day and cast Invisibility without expending magical energy.   Barlo described his Dragon spirit companion as otherworldly, possibly a space Dragon with aurora-like colors that seemed to exist beyond the normal understanding of dragons. However, his moment of revelation was interrupted when he witnessed his spectral Dragon companion being smashed by something dark and ominous.   As the mystical moment ended, a massive black ooze creature dropped from the ceiling where it had been clinging. The creature, a monstrous black pudding, had been hiding in the shadows but felt emboldened to reclaim its territory now that the threatening white Light from the portal magic had dissipated. Barlo noticed strange chrome-like streaks and shiny masses within the black ooze, reminiscent of creatures they had encountered before.   The black pudding immediately launched an assault on Shadow with its pseudopods, dealing devastating bludgeoning and acid damage. When Shadow and Artie counterattacked with claws, they discovered the creature was immune to slashing damage and actually split into smaller creatures when struck by such attacks. This revelation forced the party to quickly adapt their combat tactics.   Sas proved effective with Eldritch Blast, the force damage creating ripple effects through the ooze like stones thrown into a pond. Bastion unleashed a powerful Scorching Ray that dealt massive fire damage, ultimately destroying the main pudding creature. However, the battle was far from over as smaller puddings continued to threaten the party.   Barlo commanded Calliope, who was in eagle form, to attack enemies while he leaped from her back to engage in close combat. His landing was rough, and he took damage from the fall, but his feline agility allowed him to rush toward the smaller pudding creatures. Using reckless attacks, he discovered that while his slashing weapons caused the puddings to split further, his stomping attacks with bludgeoning damage were effective.   The combat intensified as the party learned that melee attacks against the puddings caused acid to splash back on nearby allies. Shadow and Artie took acid damage from being near Barlo's attacks, while Calliope in eagle form engaged a Lizardfolk guard with beak and talons. The Lizardfolk counterattacked with a flail as she attempted to Fly away.   Shadow retreated to a safer distance and began shooting arrows at the large black pudding, dealing significant damage while avoiding the dangerous Acid Splash. However, the monstrous black pudding launched a devastating multi-attack against Barlo, dealing massive bludgeoning and acid damage that reduced him to near death. Only his Relentless Rage ability kept him conscious at a single hit point.   The desperate battle continued with multiple black puddings attacking simultaneously. Bastion used protective wings to deflect incoming attacks while Sas eliminated another pudding with Eldritch Blast, carefully avoiding the Acid Splash by using ranged attacks. In a bold move, Bastion cast Steel Wind Strike, hitting five small puddings simultaneously but taking Acid Splash damage from the melee spell attacks.   Barlo, critically wounded, attempted to disengage and hide behind Sas while drinking a Healing Potion to recover some strength. Calliope continued her aerial assault against the Lizardfolk guard while Shadow went Invisible to avoid opportunity attacks. However, they soon discovered that the black puddings possessed blindsight and could detect Invisible creatures.   The final phase of combat saw the monstrous black pudding launching multiple attacks against Sas, dealing significant bludgeoning and acid damage. Sas's defensive spores automatically retaliated with necrotic damage against the attacking creature. Through a combination of Eldritch Blast and tactical positioning, Sas managed to destroy the remaining puddings.   Bastion attempted to use Ray of Frost but discovered the puddings were immune to cold damage, adding to their growing knowledge of the creatures' resistances. She then used her Draconic Healing ability to restore Barlo's health while he threw a javelin at the last small pudding, carefully avoiding the Acid Splash by using ranged attacks.   Shadow finished off the final small pudding with precise arrow shots before turning his attention to the wounded Lizardfolk guard. With devastating accuracy, he dealt massive damage to the creature. Sas moved across the bridge to get a clear view and delivered the killing blow with Chill Touch, manifesting the spell as a skeletal hand that grabbed the Lizardfolk by the neck and lifted it like an Invisible force before the creature went limp and died.   After the combat ended, the party assessed their precarious situation within the Black Dragon's lair. They realized that some Lizardfolk had escaped through the portals before they were closed, alerting others to their presence. Barlo noticed that chrome pieces from the black puddings had sunk into his skin, similar to chrome ooze they had encountered in the Feywild.
The party discovered Obsidian Dragon skull pins on the more powerful Lizardfolk guards and necromancers, with Shadow and Calliope collecting these pins as evidence of the cult's hierarchy. Shadow used an Arcane Eye to scout the northern cave entrance but found it blocked by a magical barrier that prevented further exploration.   The magical eye revealed that the cave continued with branching passages, but visibility was limited by acidic green mist that filled the chamber. This mist bit at their skin but didn't cause actual damage, though it significantly reduced visibility and created an oppressive atmosphere with echoing sounds suggesting a very high ceiling.   Seeking safety for rest, the party identified a secure location where Calliope cast Leomund's Tiny Hut, carefully camouflaging it to blend with their surroundings. During their short rest, Calliope used Song of Rest to provide additional healing while party members recovered using their natural resilience. They remained uninterrupted during their hour-long rest, though they debated whether attempting a longer rest in the dangerous Dragon lair would be wise. As they prepared for what lay ahead, Artie dropped out of his Polymorph form back to his normal Owlbear state, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them in the depths of the Black Dragon's domain.

    Scorching Ray

Bastion cast this spell at 5th level against the main black pudding, dealing 30 fire damage that proved highly effective and ultimately killed the creature.

    Relentless Rage

A Barbarian ability that allows Barlo to survive at 1 hit point instead of falling Unconscious when taking damage while raging. Requires a DC 10 Constitution save that increases by 5 each use.

So what's the update? I'll figure it out. You guys are sitting here. Time kind of slows down for a moment. You guys look around.
And we picked up it. Or it picked up the orb. And what I will say is, as you pick up the orb, you notice that it is very much, like the other orbs that you have seen, these, ruled orbs. We're still technically in, turn order for the most part.
I think you did the search. Just search the area. You're still in combat right now because there still are a couple baddies. Oh.
In this moment, what I'm going to do is this. First.
Shadow, I would like you to roll. Whoa, whoa. Hold on. So as that magical energy washes over the room and it blinks out the portals, time is kind of slowing down in this moment. Sass, I would like you to roll a d100.
    Seven. Seven. Lucky seven.
Hopefully lo is good. So you are. You hear a whisper. Like on the fringes of your mind.
And in this whisper, almost telepathically, kind of tells you.
    Thank you.
And we'll get back to normal. Shadow roll a d100. Okay.
    11
    What would be a 101 000? All zeros? I think so. Okay, I have a 10 to 1. So 11. Yeah.
As you're standing in this room where the portal once connected this room to the dark. So, and there were portals that went to other rooms somewhere else as well. They were closed with a lucky blow to the floating orb that sent out a magic burst. And in this moment, you've been parted to killing a few dragons, namely, a blue dragon on campus, a red dragon that had cheated its way to power for revenge against you and your friends.
And now you are in the lair of a black dragon. Your party has more or less died a few times, but every time it seems connections to the gods of time and whatnot who happens to be a prisoner? Efecto and the village of Untold Power and the connection to the goddess space seems to keep you safe. That's giving you passes also to traverse the multiverse.
And one step you were taken from the moments of reckless death to another world. Ever. And that world you took on the silver flame and had your pony forged with the magic elements. As all this has been kind of mixing with your magical sword. The first thing I was going to ask you, actually, though, I don't think we really talked about what made shadow choose.
    The path of this one.
Because Jamie thought of something to. Yeah, it was cool because Jamie thought it was cool. But unfortunately, shadow has no connection to Jamie. Let's see. Because she kept these, I don't know. All right, so then we'll do it this way that you never really. You never really understood why you chose this path. You do remember, though, that that situation you had with that first owlbear encounter, the one where the feathers that you put to, replace your broken ear, you're missing earpieces.
And so in some way, you feel like you're kind of maybe, drawn towards this path. And it seems that that's kind of, in fact, why you even found Artie. You're realizing that Artie is almost like a familiar to you. He's an individual, but he's also, he's not a common owlbear. There's no way an elder would be this gentle.
No. The matter, the fact of how young you saved him or any of that. You also recall that there was an the obelisk that's under the school of Bell and how it interacted with him. This was the when you saw those two strangers, one being paradox, the God of time in his early young adventuring mortal days, and the infamous Chronomat.
Sir, at this moment, you have kind of, bonded with Artie to the point that he is. You're familiar, but it's a little different than the fine familiar spell, when you need him to. Because, like, how you are aware that, bastian's familiar is able to kind of go off to a, like, a little hidden dimension.
Well, in this case, Artie actually disappears and it becomes part of your sworn. Oh, when he does this. So this would be a way that you can also kind of bring him with you wherever you go. Whatever. When he does, when he's in that form, you also have a new power. One time a day, you can wild shape into an alpha for ten minutes.
But it takes an action to do this, and you'll just be a standard owlbear. You don't have his stats. Or how long? Ten minutes. One time a day. When he becomes a part of your swarm. It's pretty much. Yeah, it's very much like a familiar go into the pocket dimension. However, when Artie hits zero, hit points, he is actually part.
He will become part of your swarm until the next star. So if he happens to die now, he actually will become part of your swarm. Until the next morning. Unlike you. Didn't call him back. Yes. So does that almost kind of be. We can't tell. Pretty much. He's. He is? No. Not an actual creature as like, as much as he is a familiar.
So he's bonded with her. Her swarm or, unlike in the meantime, he can go back and forth as long as it doesn't hit zero, hit points. Right? Yeah. He can go back and forth between you being your swarm or being and, reform. He doesn't get to turn into other familiar forms. That is his form.
    Right, right.
He is on. Unlike traditional familiars, he still keeps everything that we figured out with him. So he's actually a lot of attacking like other familiars. Does he still get, frosty points ago? Yes. I'm still. That's all fine. That's all. Stays the same. Okay. He requires, though it does take an action to convert him into, to put him into the swarm or bring him out of the swarm.
Okay. You can, also have him reappear in Albert form. Occupied. No. And when he comes back, it's an unoccupied space within 30ft of you with an action. So just like the spell in that case, and also when he dies, if he goes into his pocket dimension, he will leave behind anything that he was wearing or carrying.
So be aware of that. So he loses all the subtle stuff. If he dies, it'll drop where he's at. So be aware of that. And here's the best part with you in here, Artie, because when he's within 100ft of you, you can also now communicate with him telepathically. And you will get to do the as an action, see through his eyes.
And he, the whole seeing through him. You can do that. And so we speak for what's the distance? 100ft for the telepathic and also the the casting of the spell. You also get that feature from Find Familiar and I. How far can I see from his eyes and ears? It looks like. I think it's 100ft.
Or a does. Well, it only says like it's when he's within 100ft. You can. There's a telepathic and then says additionally, as an action, you can see through their eyes and hear what they hear. And so the start of your next turn.
I assume it would just be using their stats, right? Well, yeah. Yeah, just kind of seeing and hearing what they get. It's usually when people when he is are familiar familiars. The spy. Because I know that one is significantly longer than the just speaking. Yeah. Whatever the spell says, I meant maybe I did copy that down.
I just kind of wrote down my notes. All right, but what was the you can do the casting of the spell when he's within 100ft of you with the touch spell. I don't know if you have any touch spells as a ranger, but if you do this. Okay, I can do with your roll. You got an 11, though.
So that's what you get. I could have gotten it. Maybe you realize that, you also feel like there's. Maclin might have had something to do with that connection. You're not sure exactly. All of it, but it seems like he kind of helped make this path for you with your swarm. And then, of course, the owlbear bastion.
He. If she remembered, she chose it because she always wanted to wander. And that's what they did in her village. They would wander and travel and have their adventures. And she likes stargazing because it reminded her of home. And no matter where she go, she would see the stars. And the swarm kind of reminded her of the stars.
Okay. And then she met the owlbear, and then they turned into, like, sparkly alphas. Where they go, oh, you can only see through the ears and hear food. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, exactly. Okay. That's. And you give me a d100, please. Pick one under. Whoa, whoa. 84 knights.
For you, in this moment, you're kind of thinking about the the elf soul that was intertwined with you, realizing how grog nard was. Not just some stranger, his timeline. He. In this timeline, it seems that he was your grandfather of some way. And that, but he has all these memories and, connections of, I guess of them.
Omniverse, if you will, where even in another version of reality, it seems like things had kind of been switched around between you two, but it might be tied to the fact that he is now the God of time. Which kind of also means, in a way, he always was, I guess, in these bare moments, you can't think of or even really comprehend all that.
However, you are a very smart individual, and you think about that scroll that you kept hidden of how to do the blades on that, that scroll that even though we haven't talked about through the game, bastion has kind of pulled that scroll out from time to time to really study the the forms and magics. And that's why he's progressed so far with the blade songs.
As you said before, you've also gone through all these different rules. You've had a elf soul inside of you, intertwined with you. Not just any elf sort, those you've kind of picked up on your journeys, but this seems to be one of the six, that he is also a prisoner of Vecna, as it is part of the plan to return.
And then, of course, that connection is what gave you this, the ability to do a four hour trance instead of an hour, eight hour rest at night. But of course, you have learned that when you first use that a few times, that it was what helped him bring that elf back to, the material played out of you.
Somehow, though, through this, you've also realized that there's a, almost the soul of a dragon that's been hiding inside of you as well. This bronze dragon spirit, that's allowed you to kind of help protect your companions from time to time. And, in this moment, you're realizing that somehow that actually is tied to Remington.
    With your role.
I'm going to be nice that you got you, mister, by one, so I'm going to give it to you. When you do those protective wings.
One time a day, you can also give, because you have a thing with Draconic Healing as well. With that, feat. Right. Well, when that protective, when you use your protective wings, you can use, the draconic, you can use an additional draconic healing one times a day, one time a day. So it's just one little bonus.
Nice. Calliope, please give me a one. The other one. Oh, actually, no, no you don't. Oh, you don't. Sorry. Yours is different for Calliope. In these moments, as you are sitting in a swampy precursor to a dragon's lair and with some weird connection to the Shadow Vale, you're thinking about your days training in the ancient magics of the Bard.
This unique magic that bards use. It uses arts, music, dance and lore to better assist those that are around you. You were also given a glove from your elder that grants you insight into the lore in history. And of course, you have used that many times. You were also given a mission to learn more of this world, and you happened to be the dream that does using the seekers way back, as you were the one to unlock the secret of the weavers.
The six arms race that Vecna sought to erase from history. In this moment, you realize how he has used that to, ensure into her granting power. Because it's secrets.
There is a connection between that kind of secret magic that Vecna uses and pretty much all bard magic. So that's what bards are. You use past knowledge and these kinds of thing to inspire other people. And through that, and with, your understanding of lore, you kind of, in this moment are able to kind of pick up on the essence of how, all this seems connected to jungle, the god of death.
You remember there was a book that talked about goal that you have found in the Flying Key, and somehow that was all connected to these, Six Arms creatures.
    But the magic,
Connects. And that's hard to read my notes because I was going to do this fast. I think by this time, a few beers in. There for you. But for you. You also have this glove. You're raising the fear wall in a dimension that's connected to the material plane. All that magic. Also. That place was created by the adventures.
    This,
It seems like this other adventuring party that had captain McLennan as a partner. So there's, like, this weird, real connection that's been kind of carried on where you guys had seen the vision, where there's the 333 gems underneath camp, underneath the veil at that, pyramid.
There was a vision you guys recently had about that. And then, in fact, that was where the ship was left underground. The ship that you guys have been using, as you kind of having these thoughts, you realize you were not with your companions. You're kind of in the very similar circular room that you were at when you guys went to the one to dungeon.
There's a table that sits before it. You see a cup with the drink, a dice with 20 sides, and a flute.
As you sit here, make the connections of that other room and you think about the fact that you were the last one to join the wild cards. But you technically are the one that drastically changed their direction.
And when you guys were in the temple, the one two, you were the one that rolled the dice. What do you do? I think it's the.
All right. With the flute. Please roll a 100.
    95. Nice, nice. So.
As you play the flute, the perfect melody comes out. You didn't notice. And also, you're you're even throwing in some of those notes from that sheet. Isn't that you had gotten from all bar. It was what you guys had used at one time to help unlock the book. In this moment, you realize you first of all, this room is from tomorrow.
I'll put it in the chat room. No.
Tomorrow. Tomorrow? It's in the immortal. Oh, I see tomorrow as a part of studying of history and the pantheons and everything else. You are aware that she is the goddess of luck. And it seems that she's been having a little bit of an eye on you as of right now. You have two new abilities. You get.
Actually. Here. Roll up one d4 for me, please. D4? Yeah.
So, one time of day, you can, require any roll that happens to be redone. So, yeah, you can force a reroll on anybody or on yourself, but that's only one time a day adds two. Yep. Any roll that happens, tacked or whatever you can, you can say that this is my one time of day and I'm going to have that reroll change time and fate.
And one time of day you can cast invisibility on yourself or cast a spell. Invisibility. We'll just say it that way without using a spell slot, which.
Until I'm having headphone issues, I can't hear anything.
    Veronica's having head issues.
She cannot hear anything right now. Which, unfortunately, because we were just talking. But I can't complain. I'm using at the same time. I had earbuds somewhere, my microphone lined up. Yeah. And I was like, I think it was on.
Oh, no, it is right. My mic is working. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, you guys can hear me. Yep. Yep. Okay. I can't hear you so I still can't hear you. Well done. Oh. Now please get that fixed because it's her turn.
Oh. Found these ear buds to make.
Up once a day. Anyways, because it was a really nice August muted.
Years now. I mean I don't know how that happened.
    In years now.
Can hear the. I hear it through that now. Not with this.
Again. Here. Still. Sorry. Just a minute, guys. Noise. Not like you can hear me. Just told me that the battery was low.
    Okay.
Okay. Can you guys hear me? Yep, yep. Okay, I hear you. No, but I don't know how much longer my battery is going to last. Usually it gives me a warning. I don't have a whole lot of time. Can you hear me, though? Yeah, yeah, I can. I can do it right now. Let me know if. And let me know if you can hear me.
Okay? For you. You heard the voice that was saying thank you telepathically. You hear this? Looks like a wonderful place to set up a colony. I've enjoyed traveling with you and all these other spores since that moment you came to my home. I was a young fungus at that time, but I have been looking to find some new place for a new colony.
And I think that this underground swamp will be perfect. Especially when you guys are done defeating the dragon at this moment. One of my spores is talking to me. That's what you think at first. And then you notice one of them kind of starts walking away, and it starts kind of becoming a very tiny mike. And it you if you remember, you guys met those mechanics when you guys had gone underneath.
Oh. Poster a second shot of plugging in and it might disconnect me. So.
That we found that other group that were healing agents. Yeah. They were trying to help, use, mushrooms to help. We did not say anything, though. I thought I did. It was just quiet. So you again talk. Okay. Hold on.
    Awesome.
It's like when it's plugged in, it is charging. It doesn't work.
We can hear you there, though.
We got that. We turned off.
    And.
I'm just going to pick it up. No, no.
But I found out why I'm coming here. Two different sounds. Yeah. You have a bit of an echo right now. While I'm coming up, her laptop, microphone. Yeah, I guess, but those are headphones. It's a good thing for these next. You know, I think so much studies and computer.
But these are just just outside my can't.
Just like you can hear on.
You can hear me because right now my computer speaker is going, but us sharing us in the same room is not a good idea for me to be using the speaker audio at all times.
I'm gonna grab a quick setup. Some say something around, some is getting a drink.
Okay. Ooh. Can you guys hear me? Yes, ma'am. Okay, so I've got earbuds, and then it's my computer microphone. So if there's a little echoey. I'm sorry. Okay. Because my earbuds don't have a mic.
It sounds like. Okay. I just don't know if it'll get a little echoey with Sam talking. I don't know how sensitive that makes me just because we're in the same room. I'm like, we'll talk to them. Hello? That was a little bit. So there's a little bit. Okay. And that was him standing right behind me. Not over his desk.
Oh you do that. We'll make it work. Yeah. I mean every once while I hear my voice coming through. Jamie. So. Yeah. It's okay. So for you, you have realized that this whole time. And my kid, it had hitched a ride with you, hiding amongst your spores and looking for a place to settle new roots. As it kind of has that little, telepathic bond with you, if you remember.
That's how they communicate. They kind of put up a little gap, and, like, the little puff of smoke, spore smoke, I guess. And, it allows you to kind of connect on a telepathic level. You realize in this moment when you left your, hermitage. Yeah. You were on a journey to, help figure out what our best purpose was for you.
But you had another purpose, too. You remember what that was?
Why you picked being a druid.
    Yeah. Five years ago.
In real time. I think to reconnect with nature. Something you wanted to, You felt like you did not have a green thumb. That, that's what it was that SAS really wanted to figure out how to be better with gardening. And in this moment, you realize you've traversed, across different worlds. You've went to environ, you've gone through, the Underdark, you've been to, parked right there on the border of hell, one of the hells.
So you've been to a lot of different places, and it turns out all these places you've been going, you've been dropping little spores. You've been kind of. There's places where, like, you can almost see, like stars as footprints, almost just barely, like, with, little spores, like Johnny Appleseed. You've been the Johnny Appleseed. Unfortunately, with your role, it doesn't really give you any real benefit at this time, but you feel like there's more to it, and maybe they'll be revisited in another night.
Oh, finally, there's Barlow. Barlow has been having this dragon that sounds like, Maclin also had a part in. Please describe a little bit more about how you kind of see this Dragon Barlow.
Never really thought about it so recently, but I was I was picturing it as a and what makes weird thing, but it's like, a dragon that's not from this world or from this place, is it? Always seem very unusual because kind of what happens here. So, like, I'll say, like a space dragon. I guess you could say that or something like that.
    But.
Like, I don't know. That would mean sparkly, but maybe because it's made out of star, I was I was one of those awesome. I was like a like a, different color of a dragon. See, before we all chromatics the colors, darker or purple, make aurora borealis. Dragon. Yeah. There you go. Like that. Something? Yeah.
Do me a favor and you give me your d100. Sure. I can roll that one for you. Watch.
    One, three. Three.
    So.
And for you. You're thinking about this little dragon soul that's been kind of a part of you. Almost to the point where it almost seems like you feel like, it's coming out of you in almost, like, a spectral sense.
    You.
And as we are sitting here still with all the other enemies that are here, you're kind of just thinking about it as, the dragon is the spirit that nobody else can see. Just you. And you're not sure about that, but, all of a sudden, it looks like it gets smashed by something like dark and almost like dark.
    Knight comes, almost physical form.
And you see this very large kind of a morphic shape just fall from the ceiling in front of, we're actually arguing the, I'm up north riding the evil, you're over there. So I just realized that doesn't actually work.
In the way I was thinking. But after the distance, you see this black shape, there's, like, almost fall from the ceiling. There is this large, oozy black creature that's right here that's also decided to interact. Now that the scary white light is gone.
And it thinks it's been trying to take back its home. I can get on the right layer here. Put him on the turn.
    He.
Which looks like he gets it. Actually, the next is shadow. I think you would. You were the one that went and busted everything. I don't know if you had anything left in the gas tank there. Do you remember? What do you mean? Left in the gas tank like movement, bonus action kind of thing. Oh, I don't know. So no clue.
So as time has kind of slowed down, each of you guys had kind of had these various kinds of memories or experiences. You realize, oh, wait, explain to me what happened. I see a dragon, and then it turned into a black ooze. I realize now my narrative doesn't work with where you are. Oh, okay. So you had another one of those, time moment riffs.
You were thinking about the dragon, though, and then you saw this thing fall from the sky and focus up and, what I will say, though, you notice it drop and actually give me a perception check.
    15. What I will say is, as you, you definitely notice a drop. And you also kind of notice in this black, almost like midnight ooze, there's these, like, little bits of, like, maybe streaks, some of them very thin, almost like, razor thin, but other times are like little globs of, like, this, like shiny kind of mass that seems they'll be a part of that, ooze.
And there's something that kind of, tickles your, to maxi fancy, if you will.
So we'll leave it there. Okay. And shadows. So your turn is up. So it's going to be the ooze as it falls down. So without,
You see, it kind of slither over a bit here.
And, it's going to, you're going to see, like, these, blobs of it kind of punch out at you. Their shadow. I'm sorry. What was this thing? It's a it's a big old black. What? It's like, just a big black ooze. Got it. But you read the monster book, so go ahead and just give me a quick intelligence check if you're curious.
Wait to that. After my after my turn. I'm confused because you said shadow. It's your turn. And then that. But you said you had nothing left. So. Oh, I don't know that. Yeah. That's fine. So trying to figure out, it it's what they call a black pudding.
It seems that it was, clinging to the rooftop. This is its home. But with the fact that the white light as it disappeared, it feels more comfortable that it can move around down here now. And it seems like it wants to kind of eradicate the things that are down here. It's pretty much in an essence. What's going on?
    What's your, AC there? Shadow?
    18
    To fix this.
    It arrested.
Me a second here for some reason. Let's set this up and then it's gone.
    Oops. I.
    Oh, the.
    Yeah, yeah.
    Yeah.
    It's not there.
    That's really annoying.
I set up these attacks, and then also, they're gone.
It's just in this. Sorry, guys. It's one of those that.
    Come on.
What was your AC know, 1880?
So the first one hits and the second one misses.
So as it the first one hits, you take 15 points of bludgeoning damage out.
But as that hits, it also gives you 34 points of poison damage. That's like acid damage. It's, Your armor is a magical reset. Yeah. Okay, a plus one. So as the, as that acid hits on you, you see it kind of trying to burn through your, your armor, but you're okay on that? Yeah.
    It will.
    After attacking you.
It's going to go ahead. And start moving a little bit away from you a bit. So, yes, you would get an opportunity attack if you want.
Does already in his eagle form.
I can't remember what happened there. So we'll use polymorph. Yeah, we'll just base it on what's on the board. What, was he, a high up or. No. No, because I was writing him, so he flew me down. So it didn't work. All right then. That's fine, all right, cause,
    It's.
15 to hit. 15, will hit. Give me a second. No. Or.
What's them for? Slashing. Okay, well, it's for slashing. Yeah, yeah, it's my, plus. All right, so as you strike out at it with that, damage, actually, no, that wouldn't happen. You notice.
    That.
It was your closet you used. You notice it doesn't take any damage actually from the slashing.
    And.
Does the eagle get the type of opportunity to.
Be a second here. I gotta do maths.
    Is something to do.
Yeah. Yeah. You notice it splits off as that slashing attack hits it.
    They're a little bit smaller.
All we're asking is, already is an eagle. Got an attack from T? I thought that's what you were asking for originally, right? You didn't answer me, I said yes, okay.
This is going to be, an eight to hit, an eight.
Will hit? No, it seems that they have a very low AC. Okay, okay. It's mostly me. It's 11. What kind of damage is that? Slashing his claws. Which one? What are you hitting? The one on the left or the one on the right? I guess, well, I it would have been the same one that shadow hit, so probably that as it was leading that one.
    Okay.
As the slashing of the creature, you notice it does not seem to take any damage, but it does split it into two smaller.
    These are shrinking.
    I guess that's.
Yeah. Anything else? Nope. Here's the thing. I don't remember.
I was on the together you up. As you kind of come out of this moment, you see the little mechanic kind of, kind of start making up his way behind you a bit. You realize that there's thing had dropped from the ceiling and that, as it had attacked shadow and then shadow and as an eagle attacked it, slashing at it did not seem to cause any damage, but it seemed to multiply.
It. Okay, where is this thing? Because I don't feel like I see it on my screen. It's to the left of you. It's in the center of the,
I don't I see it. This is what your token sees. It's because it's outside your range of movement. It's, So I guess. Yeah. You wouldn't have seen it. You would have heard it going on. Right? So move in a little bit. Thank you. So sorry. Okay, so since I noticed that slashing didn't seem to work, and I technically wouldn't have noticed, I realized.
    But that's okay. I guess I'll.
I think I probably would have. I think I've fought with shadow if I would have heard the attack. And when I come in, I can see that it's not damaged. So how's that? Okay. That works. Okay, so we're going to try Eldritch Blast because I don't think I've ever done this before. Him. He was this. He wants 27 to hit.
That's going to hit. Which one are you going for?
Well it just said six. Forced to choose something. Sorry. Oh. Oh. Like which. Yeah. There's three of them right now. Oh, just this one. Yeah. Oh. Is she.
Forcing. And it does say 11th level, three beams. So does that mean it's. You can shoot all three either at the same thing or you could choose different targets, do a reroll or is it just I think it's the same damage for all of them. I believe it's how it works. I think you roll three times, it's three separate towers.
It's three separate beams. It's three separate acts. Okay, so I'll do two more. Them.
15 to hit four force. And I'm just gonna do it all in the same one that.
When. Well, the third one. Right. 18 to hit eight. Force 18. You do notice it does take full damage of all three hits as the force, balances it. It goes into the, this black ooze and it, like, you get that, like, that pond effect with, like, throwing a stone in there as it hits and ripples through it and starts trying to break.
Yeah. Anything else? That's it. You get, Which is this looks like he might be dead. Oh, he's over here. In this moment, he's going to reassess everything that's going on here, and he's going to go ahead and dive underwater.
This one here, he looks around.
He's still too afraid of the dragon, though.
    And that's foreign. That's bastard.
Master. Oh, I see what happened here. That's right. He's in the water. He can go ahead and go down to pursue that. It is your turn now. Okay? Why don't you come at me? You just heard splashing in the water off to the right.
And I'm gonna shoot this guy with a local fire. You're ruining.
    Right.
21 hit. 21 will hit 22. 22 will hit on or 24, 14, 24. So pretty much all of them. It's fire damage is going to hit just fine. So what's the total? That's nine, 18, 24, 29, 25, 30, 30. And that's on the big guy right? Yep.
And then I'm going to use my bonus action from my soul cage to regain to do. You got it.
    Nice.
Check it six. Anything else. So I think that's it. Excuse me. Let's dead.
Just going to knock on the turtle. It's probably the problem now.
All right. Barlow, you are a.
Oh, and and, I it's, eagle fly at the head forward still and grab that guy over here real quick, because you guys have the same one on the same turn order. If you want her to go before you, and especially with your situation, you can do that.
So I'm just going to push her forward. And so to continue on to this guy because I'm leaving off the bonuses big things with no Jojo, I'm a wound across her back and it is an intent movement parkour job. Who? Oh, this. Oh, do me a favor, though, with the darkness acid, the gloominess, the moss. Give me a dexterity check.
    It's check.
    Out.
You're going to go ahead. And what we'll say is, as you leap to that, you're going to fall down on the ground. It's rock and roll, sucker. Neath it to take five points of bludgeoning damage. Okay. You're on the ground. That on that. Got it. So, prone I'll stand back up. And so I've got my feet and.
Okay. So I just haven't moved them. I guess I'll kick in the arrows straight toward these two guys right here. Watch them. Okay. Split the difference. I don't know anything about this whole slashing thing, so I'm not going about it, but I'm going to check on these two guys.
Throwing reckless against her one skill with, this one here is also dumb. Hardy. Which one? The one south of me. Okay, well, that's positive for my army, which was crit unique.
You damage to that same thing. Salty doesn't proportion little slice and sweet. So you're actually. I'm not to take the first one that doesn't need shit.
It would still take your other damage as though. Okay, so my other damage is acid. The acid. And I don't see why I wouldn't take the rage damage. Okay, I'll take them, because that's just the none. Unless it's supposed to be the same as a weapon type. But I'm assuming it's just like an admission.
And that magical property doesn't seem to make a difference. No, no. And he has, immunity to slashing, slashing and acid, probably. So it's just, rage damage is just extra damage of the damage. So I guess that wouldn't count. So, yeah, to me, that would just seem to do anything. Do something.
Didn't seem to deter me right now because I'm, in theory, second attack.
All right, so this roll and other d20 for different, I will let you do that though. Something happens.
But nothing. I get nothing. And how many strikes was. It was three attacks. One. It was one attack. And it will do damage twice. I don't know why. But it's just the first damage for ten, 6 or 6. And then the second hit is a 15. Is that it? Yeah, it's all right. Roll damage for that, I see.
Okay. Yeah. So we went on to the tax to tax is.
That much damage I'm not noticing anything at all. So. Oh yeah. Right on. Does is it acid. It doesn't take too much from acid. You're right. It is immune to acid. Yeah. It's a pathetic immune system. So that's, one split, two splits, and then one more split there gets so tiny now, then I'm gonna stomp on the tiny one so slightly more.
Hit me. I'm just gonna try to squeeze your. I wasn't on that. Just.
    So you move.
This one. And I was on this reason. I will do that. That's what's good. The speed of time, I see, regular spots. So I just do that. But I'm also doing that reckless. I'm stomping. Right. All right, I gotcha stomping. Oh, what the stuff? Yes. So washing. No way. It's. Stop. It would be so it'd be blood.
So now it's pleasant. And it would be. Was one plus, right? I think so. That'll be five points of bludgeoning. Okay. Five points of bludgeoning and 20.
And only one d20 12. All right, let's see what these things are worth. Click here. Just so your first class lost didn't work. So with the first one you had a one for your one d20 right? You get five hit points of silver flame healing for yourself or another person within 30ft of you immediately. First in the mutant circle and second was 12.
This one you get 15 hit points of silver flame for you or somebody within 30ft. Oh. I feel I'm really greedy. Maybe that goes to the, You're hurt. Did it, I did it, okay, I think that's. What is it? That's most of you. That's why it's there. All right. But you did, as you kind of glop down in that you can.
It's. How do I explain this? Like, you know, when the like, you step into, like, a big ol fat thing, a gum. And so you, like, smash it out bit, but there's still a lot of weight there. But you can tell you definitely can't damage to it as you kind of pull it back. You are seeing like the bits of the, the chrome this like chrome bit of ooze though that's also kind of intermixed in there.
Very little bit of it in there.
I also did three melee attacks against it. So I must assume that it's so I think. That's it. Melee attacks. Is that it? Don't get acid splash. Oh. Good point. Thank you for reminding me. Good point. Thank you. Yeah, I love having a player that remembers more than I do. That's to me, I got to I got to like, involved in trying to figure out the little specials that I wanted to kind of give you guys, and, so I need to hit points.
I knew I was going to get burned by this acid. So then Shadow and Artie would, have this flashback to you. Oh, yeah. Good point. So whenever it touches hits with the attack within five, everybody within five feet of it takes acid damage.
And those prints are still selfless and accumulates. Bridges. All right, so let's do this. Shadow would have been first eight, two on Artie. Two. Four. And how many Barlow would that would be? What? Three? Three? Yeah. Three. Yes. Yeah. He's lesser than stone, actually. I take that back. That both those numbers actually probably would have gone both of you guys Shadow and Artie.
Because it would have been you when you hit it would have splashed on both of you. Because flash on everybody within five feet.
So Artie gets minus two and then minus six, you know, and then the minus two for shadow, and then voila. Did you hear my numbers or. No.
I did not get it. Some I got, You didn't tell me like, okay, two, five, one and one. So, eight, nine points from the four tax. Oh, yeah. Three of tax. Oh, then take off the last one. Okay. From, also, any non-magical weapon made of metal, would you guys all have natural weapons and are.
But physical form. Is he still in eagle form? Well, it's said that he had 19 hit points. I think he got healed I don't oh yeah, I think I think Calliope did some type of threw some healing at him, if I recall. Yeah. We're talking remember he was the reason I think he was down low, though. He was dead.
Yeah, he was super, super low. But then I think I think Calliope healed him or somebody healed up. So you just back up to 19, and now he's down to nine. And then your weapons. All magic, your things magic. And then you're not wearing any armor. So I guess it doesn't matter. Okay, guys. So we're all good there.
Anything else bother? Is it Calliope, you are up with, shadow on deck with. Yeah. I don't have this thing, so cut it. Smash it back. Okay, so I'm taking him out. Is what you told me, right? Yeah. Take that out of there. Okay? What, you think not? I will fly over there, and try to. Let's do.
    A multi attack.
    Look.
And it doesn't look that much as well. You can just hit the beak and bite where it says beak or bite our talons. Those words should also. Oh, gosh. Okay.
Come on. Okay. There's the beak. 12 is unfortunately going to miss. And.
That will hit the talents. So as you try to by that I'm your miss. But then you like you're able to grab at him with your talents as you slash across him. Points of damage. Okay. Anything else? Try. You see, if I had.
No, I think that's all I can do. If I fly away, will he get an attack of opportunity? Probably.
He will have the option if he wants to use his, reaction. You will have the opportunity to attack if he should. So choose.
Okay, I'll try it. I'll try to circle back, like, I'll. I'll make, like, I'll try to swoop in, attack and get right back out. So I'll go out of his range. Oh. That's one. What's your attack as an eagle? 13.
    That's a 14 hit.
Take seven points of bludgeoning damage as you fly away. He strikes at you with his flail. Okay. How many near that thought? Time? Seven. Seven. Okay.
    This.
Oh. Oh, it's only for action. Action! Okay, that's my turn. All right. Shadow, you are up. Monsters. Black pudding, and then sass. All right. This it dips off right here. Right. So if I'm backing up, that's about as far as I can go. What do you mean? It dips off? Is it this, like, a bridge right here?
That's all solid where you are in the lighted area, right? That's all solid. Okay, then I have to back up 2035, still all the way back and shoot at the big one.
    All right.
31 to hit, and I'll hit.
    And then I seem.
    Like.
That's just really damage. Not supposed to do anything for.
Last. So it's a damage 18 plus. We'll just make less 15 plus.
    924
So you see, it was zero as that arrow hits the, the black pudding. You see it kind of like it pierces through and you can just see the smoke coming out of the hole that it's going through as it's like melting the arrow at the same time. Did it look like it hurt him, though? Oh, it took damage.
It's it also, you won't be retrieving that arrow there.
The second strike, is a 24 to hit. I hit. Okay. Not storm damage this time. Things do not have a really great AC.
18 damage. Wow. It is as that second arrow kind of, cuts through, you see,
Up above it. Same thing, kind of thing as. But you're noticing a large bit of this mass now is, like, almost immobile. There's just a little bit of it that still seems to have any real animation left to it.
Okay. And then I'm going to have Artie fly like an eagle right. Fly like an eagle.
He's hovering five feet above me. Okay, so he's ten feet up at worst. And they also know, like, put in time. Like put in time. What? Put in time. Oh, you left, Barlow all alone up there in the midst of all the. Things.
    Oh, no.
    Oh, shoot.
Oh. He gets an advantage, too,
So it's going to start with,
Where's the plus take that starts over here?
So we're on the other end. Yep. 25 is going to hit you.
    From the at one.
So you're going to take 16 points of bludgeoning.
Out and 30 points of asses. That little guy hit me that hard.
It doesn't it doesn't say anything about how it's, it's damage goes down like it hurts the same amount, regardless of its size. If you speak 30 as a.
    Oh.
    21
    Yeah, yeah.
    Six points of bludgeoning.
    See, now, this is bad.
And you take 21 points of acid damage.
It's the second one. You got to say it. Four more. Okay. Yeah, I got one. 231 big one. And it has, like, a pretty big, acid damage on the hit.
    Acid.
Which would have been fine if it was just one attack. But the problem is, is now you got multiple attacks. 19.
Damage or hit? Hit. Oh, yes. Well, 18. Nightmare. 18.
So that's going to be two points of bludgeoning.
    And that's 26 points of acid, 0.1 fourth since about 26. It's it's it's. Oh, shit.
Shit. After that was a three attack so far.
    Is.
I might be able to spend one more. I think we'll see. Oh, no. It is a low acid roll. That's the 21 to hit. The opposing doesn't worry about it. I'm cutting it. It's 1212 points of bludgeoning. Well, acid that you can't. That's the highest roll you don't I know I got a seven. The and.
All these hits was twice and 27 points of acid damage. I'm how I melted. I'm a pool on the ground. All right. Understand? That was, big guy over here. We'll say that those three over there attack attacks. There's two small guys over here, and the, sizzling and burning. Right now, it's just. That's their move. That smell.
    That's the third.
I'm able to hold on. I get this magical ability. I did not use that for. What's up? You know, they're going to find it. Antisemitism or is it or is it or is it? I get it all right. But and I don't know.
Well, why you figured that out? I'm gonna. Answer. Okay. That's it. It's a DC ten Constitution. Same.
Two. What is it you're doing? I am not going down because of my persistent rage. Yeah. Oh.
Why did you. I'm at one hit point. So, what is this thing? Persistent rage. Relentless rage. Level rage. Keep you fighting. You will get grievous smoothies if you drop A01 raging. Don't die outright. They did. You see ten on say you see. You dropped. The one said each time is the feature. It decreases by five. So next PC, what is it?
That we stay alive. All right. So now it's at 50. What's your ax 17. Bounce back up and one hit point. You got it. Is it. So that would be 18. So that's going to hit.
Six points of bludgeoning. And 27 points of acid damage as it strikes out at you okay.
Now multi-task learning loss. But I just realized that. But I take this little bit more if on you, Barlow. It's all right. That means you attack two. Yeah. They have multi. They get two pseudo pods. It would have been that bad. But you split them off so many. Yeah. I was like, oh it's not bad. They're small 12 points of damage.
Oh 12 is the eight is the two hits or misses you sass on the second hit. But that's going to be on the 26 to hit you. Bastion.
Wow. Yeah. Oh, actually, no, 26 doesn't hit. I'm going to pop on. Okay.
    And then there's a 27 hit.
Our islands. I'm sorry. 26, 26, 25, 26. Now, this is a win for both attacks. One was just for one attack. That's what I'm asking. Oh, I'm feeling it just for one. What's it say? Oh, it's.
It's going to go down by black puddings. Yeah. This is great. This is a black race. I'm going to stand before you love this. Wasn't afraid to see that. I just I did upscaling with the same as shield. So to shield no persistent I wouldn't assume because it's, it's going to be whatever it says. Yeah.
She doesn't it doesn't say that it goes away. Well, it is here. What's it say? Her.
You can manifest that. You can shield you or others when you or another creature you can see within five feet is hit by an attack roll an attack roll. So, yeah, it's just for one attack. Roll.
Okay, then I'll pop it. Yeah. Okay. So. And then what? What's the benefit that it gives to I get to add my proficiency onto my armor. Okay. So 26 is not going to hit you then? Nope.
Shadow is a 28 going to hit you? Yeah. And might as well just check 17. Nope. Okay. The first hit will hit you. We're going to say for six points of bludgeoning.
As we've learned, 23 for the, acid.
    That's their turn. Sassy Earth.
All right, so this is this is the one right next to me. Is the one that I hit before, right? Yes. Okay.
So we're going to do the Eldridge blast again. Three blasts.
What I'm going to say is. Yeah. No, no, I just realized that it's metagaming. So, 21 force 13 to hit. Okay, but what what? I will say, I wait. Yeah. So you're able to kill it with, as that second hit one hits that third one just does that extra bit of damage to it as it falls down.
The Eldridge blast is not a melee attack, so you don't take any, acid damage spilled back on you, like, cool. Some of your friends got, anything else?
Nope. That's it. Yeah, actually. Wait. Hold on, hold on up. Sorry. I'm going to move. I want to move closer to another enemy, but I have to stay on land to do that. This whole circle is land that's inside that circle there. It's all that. Okay, so let's see. That's next. That's another enemy right there. Right. Okay.
Now I am major. The lizard full. Now that he's actually got somebody near him. You've notice on each one of these gates had a lizard form that did not move. They kind of stayed where they were near the gates. For what I should actually say. Calliope up here to the north. There isn't a gate. But you see, you.
Since you're there, you're able to notice that he's guarding the passageway that goes north.
    Okay.
But I can't tell anybody that. Because I'm an eagle form. Oh, yeah. You could squawk it.
That's a one. So it's going to mess.
And it doesn't have, multi attack on the ranged. So it you see it throw a javelin at you and it totally misses. Like you hear it like blink off the, little stonework behind you. And so far I guess you guys all have that extra one d6 damage from this. No plutocrats or money. Oh, yeah. Good point.
    Oh.
Totally forgot that. Yeah. Sorry. Okay. That's fine. Bastion, you were up. And that's for any attack, right? Not just barely. Or was it any attack once for, the around 1 to 1 attack. All right. Chat, I got a question. Yep.
The trigger is a melee attack, right? For the, acid splashback. That's what you've noticed. Not a melee spell. It attack.
If it's a melee attack, it's. But I mean, you have to find out like without metagaming at all you've seen in this flashback to happen from from, melee attacks, I'm going to move over to the side and I will sacrifice myself for the good of everyone else if they be,
Still on strike. Let's do the strike. I'm within 30ft of all the little slimes I hit. I hit each one.
    Each.
Other. So I find it because I need to see what the spell says.
She's up to five creatures you can see within, range. Make a melee spell, attack against each creature on hit target takes six d10. You can teleport to an unoccupied unoccupied space. You can see within five. The freaking echo is like, totally throwing me off. Sorry. Eight. Here, use your headphones now. They should be decently charge.
    In second.
    You.
Can you get some? Yep. Can you hear me? Yeah. Okay. We're gonna put the mic. We know. Thank God.
Yes. A melee spell attack is considered an attack. All right, well, I'll eat it to kill all these guys. Somebody needs to get me back up, though. So we'll see here. What is the blowback? The blowback action is not as bad as the damage that the gross. The form is not the full damage. It is when it attacks you, by the way.
So, it would have been, what, five attacks? Yeah. All right, so this is.
    That's why five.
Finally found something that that's causing you guys some damage. All right.
So first of all, let's see what happens with your damage. Still in strike. So all the rules look like they should totally here.
And what's the damage? It's, force force damage, so that's fine. Let's, So we'll start with the first one. 31 force is against the guy next to you. That is enough to kill it. You'll take two points of damage on that one.
Where's the second one you're going for? I'll go for the, The next three won't be consecutively hit harder. So. And then I'll go for this last one. 30 points of damage on the second one will be enough to kill it. You will take four points of damage on that one.
The next one, that's going to hit, that's totally kills it. You will take six points of damage on that one.
    You.
    This one is still standing.
And you're can take six points of damage on that one. And the last one's done by a shadow for 28 points.
So those two were actually what was drawn there. He said he was going for the four, the five small ones. So off as long as possible. And that one would give you eight points of damage. So it would be total of 16 to 18, 20. And then I'll fix my soul cage to recoup 2D. And you got it.
And he goes, oh, actually I'm sorry. That. Oh, no, you're far enough away. Nope. Actually, no, that's that's our shadow. Shadow. You would have taken, that last one of eight points of acid damage. And same with, Artie, why did you take these cards and beat him up? Oh. Artist five. Anybody is five feet within, distance of the,
Really? Yeah. Creature that touches. Wow. A creature that touches the pudding or hits it with a meal attack well within five feet of it. Or is it am I right? So I would say it's just the attacking creature takes. No. Yeah. You're right. I thought I brought. You images with us to change this. Dude, I'm looking at 2014 there.
You're right. I'm sorry. So, yeah, actually, I don't remember. I made you guys take too much damage or shadow. You already have a little bit more hit points back.
It was ten. I'll trust you on that. I get back two from him. I know why I was thinking that when I read that, but you're right. It doesn't read that way. It's good thing I didn't do that throughout the whole thing. Actually. I'm sorry. Even though it's after the fact and it's a little metagaming. Bastion.
Give me, what is it, a one d6? Follow. What for? The rage. The thing.
After d6 of damage. Yes. You can choose which role reversal attitude you guess. I'll. I'll add it to the one, on shadow. Oh, okay.
It's okay. Okay. Well, not any damage. Okay, I'll set one point enough. All right. Anything else that I should? You know, I think that's, using my gross. I think it takes an action. My member, it should say in the thing. All right. Barlow with Calliope on deck.
Oh, shit. Oh, yeah. 1.0. You just,
    I can.
Well, that's my timer reaction. And then part of one of ours. But, go down swinging.
Stomp! Stop it. I think you get some diamonds, don't you? That's that's okay. I can still make my world could make my role. I don't know how much damage this guy from use can take. Of this could have been difficult. I mean, you've only got two guys in front of you that be fair, too. So I got one behind me right in front of me.
    One front, one behind.
But that's a lot about you. Do it. That's a lot to ask me. Even in 2018, was one still down no matter what. So my first attack. But it I'm still going down even like one. Oh it's got to disengage. He's got this and this. Go over here behind staff gets fed exactly different days. That's true with the stuff you dead anyways.
Yeah. So all the hive hunts says. And, August, you have any potions? Right? I might never find that one posted given left. So pretty much the way that I put up the house rule on the potions is it's a bonus action to take a potion and do a roll, okay? Or you can use an action and get the full benefits of the healing potion.
Or it takes a, an action to feed it to a friend. And that's cool. So but just taking a potion can be a bonus action. Yeah. Even if it's not a healing potion.
Yeah, we'll just do that, you know? Well, no, because that one actually says, I think take it. It takes an action, whatever the rules state on that. But with a healing potion, I'm willing to go with a bonus action to take to take a bonus action to eat. Because the problem with healing potions are most of the time you're like, I don't want to use them.
So I think it promotes the use of the healing potions by saying you, you can do a bonus action and roll for the healing, or you can use your action, and in that case, you'll get the full benefit of whatever the healing potion is. So the maximum death roll. So I'll use my action to disengage or I attempt to slip by if I haven't missed him.
They don't get advantage with this straight, so it's probably going to be a 5050 chance.
And I can use my action to take the potion. If you take a bonus action though you to take the potion, you'll still get some healing. So you might know I'm not looking at the closer look at the potions fire.
    Gotcha.
But I don't think it's getting be much longer, so I'm going to skip that and go behind sets. It doesn't match, and I'll heal. Bonus action. And I will just go out.
You. If I do it by the sacrifice of healing it. Now. So if you do a bonus action for a potion of healing, you have to do the roll. I do the ball. If I don't, I get to use an action. You get the full effect. Okay, at this point, that's just a simple potion. Healing sponges is so.
It's almost as it is. I'll just take it as the roll. All you need to do for I think it is only one piece. Yeah, okay, I'll just do that. Take that movement. Yeah, that's a bad thing. Okay, so that's eight points of it.
All right, that's my turn. To get himself. Calliope, I do want to remind you, while you're kind of far off as you can't really see him, I think the distance is 30ft because you have the bardic inspiration, and you're using the 2024 rules on that, which allows you to use it as a healer. You can use your reaction to heal with that.
So I just want to give you a can I still do that is eagle for then you're right. Never mind. Ignore what I just said.
Calliope, you are up with shadow on deck. Okay, I'm going to make another screw back. You got it right. I won't grab them off. Okay, so we'll go back up there and. You think? First. Unfortunately, someone's going to miss. And then. Come on, that's going to go sweet. So then can I do another d6 for damage? You can.
Sweet. So that is 20. No 18. So yeah you strike down there with that talons. And you that inspiration rage that's inside of you from, Barlow. Like you just kind of like, slice across this lizard and.
Anything else? Is he dead? No, he's getting a little bit meatier. Okay, let's try.
    Meteor.
Okay. And I'll keep swooping around. So.
    You.
Instead of being a flail. And that is measured. And I don't think a nine is going to hit you, right? No. A five as he tries to hit you with his flail, he misses. Shadow is up. Then the monster is black pudding, and then sass.
Okay, I'm going to shoot for this one first. Okay? Okay. Isn't there something, though, with having an enemy five feet in front of you? It's a disadvantage.
I don't know. I just thought that was ranged attacks at someone five feet in front of you. And I think you have somebody within five feet of you. Your ranged attacks have are at this events. Am I right on that problem? Yeah. Any enemy carrying you while you're trying to raise the doesn't mean you're shooting at it.
It's just you got to be friendly. So. Gotcha. Okay. Let's you have that one HP. Oh like sharpshooter or whatever it is. Crossbow. That's version 25 to hit for the first. That'll still hit. Yeah, I rolled a ten and an 11. They have a low AC. Nice. I think it's like, seriously, what is it? Six. So for puddings.
Yes, that is a single seven. Yeah. Yeah. You can't miss a three. What was it. It's plus the D6 right. Yeah. Yes. Pretty bad but I should double check. What the damages types are. It ten. Wow. 18. None of it's acid or cold, right? Or lightning? 29 plus nine is 38. Any acid, cold or lightning?
No force of piercing and force. So as that arrow strikes through it, you see it kind of rip through it. It melts before it gets to the other side of that little black pudding. But with it, the two little shreds of it are like sitting there limp, and it's dead. Excellent college views. That'll be good. Oh. All right.
So good shot. Is, 19 to hit a disadvantage on the bigger, yeah. Okay. He's the only one left. Well, besides the one in front of you.
Oh, my bad. Team 21 plus nine is 3030. That's going to have. Yeah, it has a little bit of cover with a big old turtle. That's. Damn it. Oh I'm sorry. It was a, 19 to hit. It's still okay. 30 damage, 30 damage. Nice as that arrow goes through. Whoops. That's not right. Arrow to eight.
It's hurt pretty bad as that arrow once again also burns to nothingness. But.
    Then a lot of.
    That is.
And then just because maybe it'll confuse them, I will go invisible. Okay. A reminder to, you know, how do you remember how, opportunity attack works even when you go invisible? No, that's my point.
Opportunity only attacks on creatures that you can see.
Right. So I'm going invisible so that hopefully that putting in front of me just doesn't hit me because you can't see me. What I meant, though, is that if you wanted to move, you can move and not worry about opportunity attacks. That's what I will do. That's a bonus action. Go invisible using nature's spell.
And then I will slide this way. And then I will do his, multi attack.
As an eagle. Okay, so. So the beak, is a natural one. That's not gonna do anything.
Yeah. Well, I mean, technically, yeah, one is a no, but, I cost.
Okay. And then the talons are a 19 to hit. I don't hit it. It means 26. Does he get the extra d6 or Barlow?
What was the isn't. There was a small part. Party members, I think it was. Only so many people think it's only. I can't do five. It will take. Okay. Ten damage. Okay.
But it's slashing. Shit. Oh, shit. That was bad idea. Yeah, real bad idea.
So saying you guys, your eagle can pick these things up and drop them, I know I should do that. Dang it.
They're not immune to bludgeoning or me before. Oh, they're fighting now. And then and it's.
Orange. Okay. See you. They still give you, like, a three d10 acid? Yep. If you make more. Yeah. And and, I it takes three points of, acid damage. Yeah. Right. Needs, intelligence.
And he's going to try to fly back up feet. Are these like I have a telepathic bond with you now. I can hear your thoughts.
Yeah. He's talking to you. Yeah. He's.
He's going to try to fly away, so I'm ready. Mother and mother, listen, is bad idea. Mom, mom? Mom. Yeah. All right.
Is a 17 going to hit you there? Sass?
And you meet the bishop, right? Yep. Yes.
I see 17, so that's. Ooh. 11 points. My heart is crossing that. That is a plus.
    17 points of, bludgeoning damage.
Am I got slimes? This is my fault. This guy, by the way. Oh, yeah. Good point. You're right. D10 d10. The crap I brought back and traffic that worked five bucks. Now that that hurt it. Pretty much. So as it turned around to you, you see your spores start like, dead and, like, start attacking at it and like this, like, greenish magical energy kind of starts like chewing away a little bit.
    A little bits of it.
But it's not bad. No, unfortunately. Okay. I'm not dead yet. So. Yeah, the the bludgeoning damage. And then there's going to be another 25 points of acid damage as it strikes out. Another 25. Yeah, that's acid damage. The first one. But the second hit totally misses you. So. And when. So this 2525 was the first time. No no no.
You take both bludgeoning and acid when it hits you. So both of those numbers that I set.
Which was, 25. And then what was the first one I said was, I think the first was 11. That's fine. I don't remember what it was. I don't I generally think that's why when I try to lowball numbers, so yeah, though, because the 11 would have been the bludgeoning as it hits you, but as it makes contact, this thing is like just nothing but like an acidic kind of skin about it.
So then you also that's why you take on that the acid damage. And it's a really strong acid damage, especially with the fact that you're realizing it's in an acidic lair of a black dragon.
You do? Yeah. Yeah. Look at these artists. It's more, it's a modified, but it's from the, monstrous black pudding from, monstrous. Okay. I've never heard of that before. That's fine. And species are fucking. It's from Monster Manual. Expanded. I think that's cool. Oh, okay. Sounds like he seems to do, like 48,000 after the most, like, one day.
Other punches. Well, I also did. I had to also upscale it a bit because that was a cry for. Yeah. So. Oh I upscale you said that. So that was a person like, oh my god, I can put this. Well, because five, Fighting Tools actually has a little cool tool. So you can change a challenge rating. So it'll change this.
Yeah. So you can change a challenge rating of a creature which allows me to bring like, low level creatures to fight you guys. And it's not fighting a low level creature. It's fighting something more your level. Okay. Gotcha. Oh, that's cool fights. I gotta find that, that that's if you go to the five tools and you go to the bakery where it's a challenge, there's a little graph.
Yeah. And if you hit the low ground fourteeners, what is one for the. My both of them. Both of them have it okay. All right. So okay so we're on that one attacked. These ones are all dead I think the only one left otherwise are the two tiny ones down here.
    So we'll do that.
    Oh. Encounter. I rolled a 20.
On shadow. I'm invincible. Oh. Good point. It would be disadvantage. But you're right on that shoot. Not only would have, it wouldn't know where you're at. There's no way this thing has any perception.
So we'll do this. So that way I'm not metagaming it. We'll say that he strikes out where he's at and misses, so we'll do that. The other one, though, we'll still just, They're stupid that you're fine. You know what? I will I will award the creativity of that. And I will say that both of them sit down there and try to strike at nothing, because that makes more sense.
Like they're probably super stupid, so maybe they won't know. You're right. They are stupid. So if it was like a wizard or some like that, a human, I think that is. But you're right, with them being as dead, it's stupid. You see them flailing at nothing. They're the target and smacking nothing. Okay. I'm fine.
I'm not trying to kill them. I know, I know, I just make I try to make. I want you to help you. That guy's in something right now. Oh, and it forces us to get creative on ways to dodge and weave. I just. But, okay, this is a learning thing that I don't. You're going to have to learn this song.
I'm going to tell you something now, putting some blind side. How do they do? They don't have eyes. Yep. They have blind side within 60ft. Goddamn 60ft. They see and feel it.
So yeah, I guess so. That would have been a natural 20. It's because I was stupid. I'll just do the rerolls so it will. All right. Yeah.
Like I'm invisible. Active. So. Wait. Yes. Why? Hey, you got a one instead? Oh, I wasn't, but he does get a 25 on the second one. Yeah. That hits. Let me just see what happened. But it's not a crit. So then, does a 26 going to hit you? But, that's an.
Nope. I pop a win. You got it. Make sure you count this. If I got one more left. Okay? Because you guys still have a drag in the fight.
Shadow, you did get hit, so that's going to be great. Which is a I can see all of those little tiny red dots. That's what's happening now. The whole village. Yeah, I'm looking at. What are they? They're just little dots. So that's going to be, 14 points of bludgeoning damage.
Okay. And ouch. 30 points of acid.
But that's a turn. Yeah. Sass, you are up with, bastion after the lizard folk. All right.
    Look at this building.
It's 42. Because I was watching this YouTube, and they're, like, low level creatures that I not do lots of damage. And I was like, the first one they talked about was the black pudding. And I was like, ooh, let's live. Yeah. So this is what it's like that I feel like Eldritch Blast is doing extremely well. It's super wonderful if it's ranged, not.
Oh, nice. All right, so let's do this. Which is where. Where's that one going? First of all, this this dude right next to me. All right, so that's going to be, okay.
Go ahead and give me a d20 quick. Let's see what happens there. Oh, yeah. I'm funny. Yes, it's funny that a row. Well, it's for me. Yes. With a 20 with this one year. I have to do the math again, but I'll say that I'll base it. I'm like the figures I had before. You gain, first of all.
Oh, the white thing. So you get three permanent hit points. Oh, your maximum goes up by three. Oh, you, then you also get three. I do, I do, I, you get those two points off and go up by three. Yeah. It's everything goes up through nice. That's permanent. That's nice. I think that's okay. Why can you just felt this surge as you're, that's all single or three inches your shell.
The lining of your shell. This ripples in what it is you're getting 10% of the the hit points that you didn't get because you rolled or whatever. Like if you were to get maximum rolls every single level with your constitution, what would your hit points be? And then I just take 10% of that. Okay. So that's why like because I think, Barlow, you roll right for your hit points.
I roll for mine. But I believe that, yeah, you've rolled pretty badly and you're like five hit points. Oh my sweet. Yeah. That's why you're the first four. No.
Well and plus though you've got everything so no you're a one D12 two. So you already have like a big I'm away as well. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So that okay so the first strike hits was a a crit. But that seven counts the crit I believe in there. So, what is your second? And I think you have to call your blast outs a is all three of them go into the same one or.
Yeah, I'm going to go to okay. So do your second one. Signatures. Don't forget to add a d6 to that crit. Double that d6.
Oh yeah. Add a d6 on this. Double. That's it. Yeah.
So roll a d6 says oh, sir, it's okay.
Yes. Nice. Oh, no. Nice. I'm going to be nice. I'm going to say that you see that second one hit and it's enough to strike. I will let you go ahead and choose somebody else for the third one. Okay. You guys. Yeah, you can, you can choose three different targets. All one. Whatever you want. Yeah. It's for living.
I don't see one. That's a lie. You got one? You see one like these little red dots? Dots? Oh. What? Like here? No. Right next to this, shadow. Right here. And then bastion over here. I think the little I see you probably couldn't see the one by shadow. It's probably far too far in this. I don't see anything right here.
You don't see a little red dot? Nope. Wow. It's.
I do see a red dot over here. I see two of them, actually, I could see it when I look at. Sure. Yeah. You got a little red dot here. Oh, that first red dot here is, actually, that's a shadow. This red dot is another, but either one. Well, if there's one over here, give know for my screen so I can see it.
So that's the one you're going to hit the third one. You got it.
Thanks for that. That's enough to kill it. Nine force. Okay. And then I am going to use a bonus action and cast healing word on Barlow. Okay. See?
    You just.
    I see shooting that's. Go.
So how does that work? The the nine is of the nine and the five both is. Yep. Okay. And lover cancer that. Oh. Well yeah I like that for.
Oh crap. Oh four okay. 40. All right. Thank you. And then I am not sure when you get.
All right. So those are for me just health. I'm a gardener.
These are folk rules of one. So once again, that's what we got last. Then we can miss Calliope. No, he he can't. He doesn't feel fear, but he's got a mission. So, Bastion, you are up. Barlow on deck. There's, You can hear the fighting of an eagle. With an eagle up north there you can see that there's a tiny little guy still moving around that's fighting.
    That's next to shadow.
I don't know if I can get over there. Okay. Stubble ram frost on this guy. Okay. Yeah, well, somebody.
Ray of Frost is just, cold damage, right? So as you see, your two, ray of frost, strike at the tiny little black ooze putting. That's like trying to jump out your friend here. You see that as the cold hits the outer shell of it, it just, like, sizzles off. And it doesn't take any damage from it doesn't take any damage.
    It's immune to cold.
It's like, oh, you didn't, Besson didn't know he's he. This is the first, I think. I don't know, because I've done black puddings before. I know we had some type of rules. This guy who's like a great who's out of pudding, and that's what it was. They were fun. I could find out.
The opening, I guess I'll let my turn of. Oh. Oh, actually. Oh, no, I can't do anything. Oh, wait.
I can't do any level. Yeah, if you if you use the if you pretty much. I'll just go in based on if you use a spell slot, you can only do one per turn. Okay. All right. I'm going to pop a of killing for Carlo. You got, this, this is, part of his, gift of the metallic dragon, or something that allows him to have the shield.
    He's passive this way.
Wait. Okay. I think it burns off the same, like thing. The counters that you have for your, other things over.
To how, I can't remember all. I can't remember what healing spell it is. It's. It looks like it's just, you learn the cure wounds, but. Oh, it's a you're actually using the cure wounds spell. Oh, what? You cast it with Alex? Okay, no. When you're casting without expanding a spell slot. So today, once a day, plus my whatever it is, plus my so casting.
So that's intelligence five. Wait. Which means focus. Yeah. Five plus five. Okay.
And then it, I'll start moving.
North. Yeah. Me. You're not like. Or actually, I guess I'll keep on for Marlon.
All of you are up with, Calliope on deck.
Okay. What do you want for healing? I didn't get it. Oh, what am I wrong? Oh, I guess I roll. Yeah, yeah, it's a spell. Oh. It's. Why? Thank you. That's awesome. What do you think I am going to.
Roll that one little tiny ground. I'm not going anywhere near it. I'm a full out javelin. I'm a chuck it. Yeah, you got it. Well, we get a little closer. I can be like this one, because that would suck. All right, so I want to jab.
    No matter where you're.
What do you want, then? I hit an eight. Okay.
Seven hits. Oh, why don't you get a rage? Still no, that's not a real rage.
Oh, did you throw it? I threw it, yeah, yeah. So I'm not going near that thing. No one gets last one. Yep, yep. But you don't. You get it? 26. No, I get other benefits. You guys get them. I already get technically rage damage, so. But this wasn't really me, so. So I don't get an incident. That's it.
And that's a non-magical weapon made of metal or wood, right? It is non-magical. So after dealing the damage, the weapon now has a permanent cumulative negative one penalty to damage rolls. So you did one damage okay. And if that hits negative five, the weapon is destroyed okay. Non-magical ammunition made up for that hits it is destroyed after dealing the damage.
Which is why it's been all right. Just leave that. All those count that javelins gone. Come down now then. Let's see here. It can eat through two inches thick. Non-magical wood or metal. And one round does anything but rock.
All right, that's it, that's it. All right. Okay. We're up with shadow on deck. Okay. We're going to do the same thing. Let's do it. There's not much an eagle can do. It can. But I know they got a couple, Grammys. I think. Ooh. Okay. Wait, so the in question. Yep. It is an extra D6. On each of these.
You get one. Just one. Okay, one of your hits. One roll. Okay. So. Oh, well, the other one.
That's the first one. I know the first one's on what's going ahead. You can go ahead and add the d6 to it.
So it's nine total nine piercing.
Yeah these guys are a little stronger. Anything else? Still not dead? No. He's looking pretty hurt, though.
Okay. What's the speed of a needle? 86. Yeah. Holy fuck. Yeah. Anything else? What's. What's the height of this chamber? It's pretty high up, actually. We're looking at, like, you can't even see it. We'll say. Okay, what would I feel like if I wanted to grab it and drop it? It would have to be a grappling attack.
Grappling. So contested, strength athletics over the giant eagles. That is for that. Okay, okay, I think I already did my. Yeah, it would be an accident that, Yeah. Because you had swooped in and then you swoop back out. Guess what? He rolled on his attack a one. Yeah, well, I seriously got three ones in a row with hit that.
Guys, it's, I can't say I know, shadow. You're up black pudding on deck with sass. After it's shadow doesn't kill this guy with his one hit point. Look at this damage. That's okay. Wait. Why do you have a disadvantage? Because he's right next to me. Oh, you're shooting with their arrow. But technically, aren't you still invisible?
Only till the start of my next turn. Oh, start off, I'm getting on it. Yeah, but he is blindside anyways so I don't think that's where it gets tricky. According to the game designers they still get you still get it. But it's only the start of my next turn anyways. But but that is a it's an it's a 28.
Yeah. And he's got one hit points no matter what the damage is. It's enough. Oh okay. Excellent. The only creature left is the one that's been fighting the evil up north. You've been hearing bits of. I've been hearing it, right. Yeah. It kind of echoes a bit in here, but with your two backseat hearing and even the one.
But I can't split my term with R2, though, right? Like, if he picks me up, it flies. I can't shoot my other arrow. No. Right. Okay. If that's okay. Feline agility. Well, I mean, technically I have it where you guys are using your same turn to do your hits. Okay, I can I can still get there and I can get there 90ft.
Okay. So I'll run 65 here and I can see him now. I think so because he's straight across the bridge. Yeah. Yep.
But I don't know I'm. And you're not seeing. Yeah I can see it. That is a 26 to hit. That's how you eight. Okay, okay.
And since I knew the other pudding, you tell me. Normally I do all my damage. All the first shot. But I knew the pudding was small and almost dead. That's why I would not have used the for you. Right? Yeah. You can tell that. It was. It was on its last leg as.
    And I can release better.
    Oh. 1721.
    28 plus. 937 oh.
    ZIP. One hit point flows.
As that strikes through, you could see, like like gushing blood just spurs out. I don't want to get fired from any job, so I'm not going to compare it to any real life event. Oh.
But it's pretty bad. But he's still standing. All right. That's all I got already. Can only go 80ft, so he's just going to hover above me. Okay. Black pudding is dead. SAS, you are up. Oh, I would take a potion for about six. Okay. So try to figure out who's even stronger. So you've heard, you've noticed that Calliope has not been in the midst of where you are at, and you've heard eagle and, missing javelin strikes north of you.
    Right.
Over it. Like in this area?
Somewhere up here. Okay, okay, I'm just going to start calling clock. Oh. Yeah. It's not really.
Climbing, is it? No. That. You got to watch.
Peacemaker. I guess that that actually does make the actual eagle sounds.
Eagle screeching. I'm gonna. Oh, that's that's been near us for the last 67 years. Where I. I'm here. I'm not the water. Right. That's still on land. Yes. Now, there's a bridge. It's, only ten feet across right here. Yeah, yeah. I'm on the bridge. That's still the same distance from where I was. Yeah. All right, so now I can see this dude.
Okay. You see a, lizard creature, one of those lizard men, but, like, a little bit bulkier. You actually, you were fighting one, near the other border. That's right. That's very similar to the other lot. The portal guard that was off to the right that you were fighting. All right. And that is that was at last, last session.
You all right? We're going to do a chill test this time. We're 26 hits, and that's more than enough. Yeah. So, as that last strike hits, how would you like to do this? First of all, let's do a. How would you like to do this? Keep I want it like, like I'm using the force.
So that the skeletal hand gets around his neck and lift him up, like. Like Darth Vader is going to killing some force. You got it. And then he just goes limp and just falls with that. We are out of combat.
All right. How you feeling over there?
A whole lot better than before. I think we both need to heal like,
I mean, okay, I'm. I'm crazy. Danger. But what do I know about our situation in terms of what kind of rest we could potentially take? What I will say is that you guys know you are based on things that you guys have been kind of told and picked up on. You guys are in the lair of a black dragon.
If you are, if you were to try to rest in here, it's a good chance either one of his, minions might find you. Not to mention they are aware. Are you here because you guys shut down those portals? So for all you know, they might be trying to come in other ways, you know, that, the rest of the video, I will say that you know, that some of them were coming in and out of the water.
So the acidic nature of this water doesn't seem to affect them for some reason.
    Or.
Let's say there's, Let's pull out. Sorry. Ma'am. Which chores I meant to do that.
How long? It's a short rest. One out.
That would be in on you if you want to risk that, one thing. I know where they're coming from.
Well, you know that some of them were coming out of the water, is what I was saying. So it's possible that there's tunnels inside the water that the lizard men can go through. What I do need to do is take a step back, though, with Barlow. Barlow took a lot of hits from these guys here. We.
    Just.
And as you were getting hit, you noticed. Like I said before, there was, like, the little bit of a chrome pieces that are in there.
What was your role 33 on your scene, So, this is inside, like, buildings cut with the same kind of. Well, now that kind of calm, everything's kind of calmed down. It's almost as if. If you remember when you guys were, in the foyer while there was a little trap set for you guys where, you guys had touched the well and fell asleep, and then you guys were, kind of pulled into a little arena thing.
And when you were in there, you guys fought the, the the versions of you that were made of, like, chrome kind of ooze. So.
With you, you actually kind of notice that some of that chrome kind of ooze was kind of like sinking into your skin a little bit.
    Through.
Like missing, like patches of fur that melted away my acid and it's. Oh, yeah, my clothes get ruined. That's going so you probably would have some, like, little bits of tears from the acid. Especially you. You were in the front of it with all those little strikes. Yeah. This is your rolls 33 though as of right now, it's not going to manifest anything.
But there was something with the chrome that kind of you were exposed to. Oh, okay.
And like I said, it seemed kind of reminiscent of what you had seen before with, very similar, but almost mixed in with this black ooze. Then the black pudding. Okay. Because you picked up the orb is what, what would you guys like to do?
Here, we had a comment. Yeah. Comments over. If we can get a short rest so I can protect us enough. Long enough for a long rest. Oh. Oh, wait. Oh, I oh, I can.
You can do anything if you lie about it.
I have, Morton. Conan's magnificent mansion.
But you don't have the components for it. No. After components, I don't have it activated. Dang it.
I still have, but, But. Oh, yeah, it would not work.
I just gives us cover, but it doesn't give us a I mean, it doesn't make our rest go faster, does it? Well, it goes for eight hours and. Yeah, it's just it's outside. Can't get it. It can't extend through the dome or be cast into it yet. I mean, it would have the benefit of the fact that if you guys got found or discovered or whatever.
That they wouldn't be able, that you could finish off the long rest for the short rest and then say, okay, we hit that one hour, let's go fight them, as opposed to we had they found us half an hour in and now we have to fight them, right? Yeah. So what if we found, like, the safest spot, even if we went back to, like, the beginning of it.
The tunnel part, the dome. It's been an hour. Is it safe? Maybe attempt a long rest with it. At least we got a short rest out of it. Because I think you could make the dome look like whatever you want. Right? So if you made it. Yeah, like like the wall. Maybe that with the. Oh, cover. So maybe we go forward into the area that like that was covering and see what places were up ahead.
So we don't have to go back and come back through this will go forward and then hide that way. So we left my fears. If we go forward it will see us and then we can't rest.
You know, because right now we know this room is empty and they do this massive, just for now.
He does what's everyone's, passive perception do like 24, 21, like in the 1870.
    And then says, like.
It's the next number down in the row of your attributes. Like at the end of it, there's a little space and then there's a number.
One but I don't have section 15 to.
Yeah. If you look at the bottom of where your skills are right below that, how about this I have arcane I.
Can you tell what I use it for an hour, Calliope? And, Shut up. Give me a quick, perception check. You guys have pretty high passes, right?
    22. 1828. 32. 32. So, yeah, both of you guys, both of you guys also would have noticed that on some of the, the more powerful, lizard men like the guards and the necromancer guys that were down here in the center, they you're noticing that some of them have, like, what? Looks like little, pins.
They're black obsidian. They'll be like little, dragon heads. Yeah, I got one. Also one that I know. What did you grab? One. I don't remember if you grabbed one yet. Yeah, yeah, I'm not the first guy killed. Barlow, if you want, I can shoot my arcane eye out to see if there's a safe place.
That'd be good. Okay. Yeah. Speaking. Those pins. What do we know that these are for? We may have an idea. Yeah. To be as a quick reminder to Dragon that as Black Dragon tends not to this. I'm wondering if it's just. They're. It's like worshipers at Dragon Folds or something. That's what looks like.
    Okay.
    That would be my guess.
How old will be this dragon was will be told how old it is. You were told that he is probably around, if not just a little bit stronger than the Red Dragon. Except that this one earned his, his rank. Okay, so the adult adult black dragon earned the adult status. He has aged okay. And so he's really just.
I mean, it's just arcane eye and send it forward. Yeah. Just let me see what's arcane I do. There's no, limit on distance. It's just as an action I can spend. I can shoot, 30ft.
That's in any direction. No limit to how far away you can move. It just can't enter another plate. Resistance and a solid barrier blocks this movement. But it can pass through an opening a small smidge. Okay, so. And so you're looking at the cave front that's, at the north, right. And visible. Yeah. So as, as it, as it hits that threshold of where the last bit of this bridge goes into the cave, it stops right there.
But it it's a solid wall. It doesn't look like to any walls there. No.
It doesn't look like a portal, giving a precise, investigation or perception or however you want to. However you. You think you'd be checking this area out? Perception for sure.
Natural 24 834. What I'm going to say being a ranger and natural 20 and all that, there seems to be some type of magical force not allowing it to cross that threshold right there.
And I can't see beyond it either. As you're looking down into the cave, I mean, there's it. You see that the cave goes on? You can see there's like some different branches that goes off into various sections, and then it's really dark. There's still also a bit of that mist in this area. In that area, I should say.
No, I think about so you can always see a little bit down through it.
Then I'm going to send the AI around the perimeter to look for any tunnels or safe spots or so in the room you're in right now. Then since I can't go into that tunnel. This here, let me just clusters out to what our.
It can only go with like 30ft from you though as an action and then, but there's no limit on how far I can go. This isn't okay. Yeah. Okay. But I can't enter another plane of existence. So what I'll say is, so where you are right now, you started kind of going around, it's a big room you're in.
So I need to kind of have an idea of where you're looking. I'm going to go counterclockwise. So I'm looking this corner, if there's any, like enemy tunnels or a spot that I think that light you could camouflage. Really? Well, since I know about camouflaging and, But how about, I guess, what's the owl like about how high or.
We said the ceiling was, like, 80ft. Right. You're not sure? Yeah, it's like I said, and I keep forgetting about how like this. Because when I focus on the map and I forget in my mind how it's supposed to be, but this room is like, there's, like a green kind of acidic mist that's in here. It's not enough, like, to to hurt you, but you can then if you guys have ever been into a room with gas.
There's. It kind of like bites at your skin a bit, though. So the visibility is supposed to be pretty bad in here. So you can't really see how high up the the ceiling is, but you definitely can tell that it's pretty. It's very large because, like, the way the echoes are in here, what I'll say is, as the eye kind of goes over there, it's hard to kind of even see into the water unless you want to fly into the water.
But you notice that, like, all this, like, brick and crack of, like, branches and this dying kind of like, plant life that exist in here. It's right up against the wall for the most part. So this is as far, especially when you're right there, you're noticing that this is a pretty enclosed thing that goes up, who knows how high.
So you just have bridges, cardinal directions, and that's it. Pretty much.
Okay. I think we're kind of stuck here. Guys, if you want to take a rest, this is the only place we can do it.
Sounds good to me. And I for sure, sure, sure is. Benefit everyone. Yeah, yeah, I mean, it is. It points right in the spine sort of thing. Camouflage as best you can.
You can see. All right. I go over to where shadow has indicated. And I will cast.
Lemons. Tiny head and kick and mark the real ones. Remember this tiny head.
So go ahead and mark the spell. And is there anything special you're doing with this hut?
I will make it as camouflaged as possible. Yeah. Can I help her with that? Since I have, Natural explorer stuff? Yeah. No. That's fine. No, I, I dropped them all.
So I think that's it. Yeah.
We can, use this to help her to figure out how to camouflage. What would you guys like to do during your short rest here?
I want, you know, get back spell slots and. Okay, I want hit points. Yeah. One thing. Do your, dice. Our bard will sing us like, little songs from the next 36 hit points back. Yeah. Hold on. One to keep mind for hit points. Okay. There was one of them where I can give you.
I think I can give you, like, the maximum. Oh.
Song of rest. Foreign issues. Some rest.
They get an extra 1D ten of hit points. If they do hit that in ten, I'm at 13. Flow.
Maybe I'm thinking something on my other character. There is. I do remember at some points that, yeah, one of the game, somebody doing something that allows you to get maximum hit points. But I remember okay, I was a cleric spell and then it was. Yeah, it might have been the third spell. So I will do this on the price though, which gives you, city music.
In a bit of these, at least one hit, you get an additional one hit ten.
Yeah. And you guys, that's what you guys right to do, right? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll stick it in the chat.
    Oh.
    He.
You guys do experienced, you are able to have your full long rest as you guys sit here for about an hour. You notice that nobody has come, yet. So you guys, we're on interrupted. You make sure he gets for the service. Did I say longest? He said, oh, yeah. Do we want to try to sit here for eight hours and if we get interrupted here.
But I think we're going to get interrupted, and I want to know I can't regain anything on a short rest, so. Oh, how did you do that, Barlow? Under short rest, you choose how many dice you're going to reroll and do your health spells of all.
Right. Okay. Rolls. Assuming that. Oh, here I.
I'd be willing to bet, though, as a ranger, you would know that if you're inside of a lair, you might not want to take a long rest. Not to mention, you guys are also aware that this lair is also, like, surrounded by some type of cult of, Yeah, those are more and whatnot. These guys and they have been alerted to your presence, and some of the guys did run back through the the portals before you guys close them.
    You sure?
You're in a peaceful. Yeah. Thank you. You've always the same ones. Oh, that was a good roll to.
    Yeah, she's she's.
Already dropped some polymorph, so he's still at full hitbox right round. I believe so. She made it. All right. And then this is probably a good place to end it for the night. Yeah, yeah. Right before we die and drag it right.
    All right.
So we've got moments you want that? Well, I hope you guys all had fun. Even though I almost got a TPK. The ambitions and stuff with puds like monsters luck. But it's. Yeah, that's something I've never seen before. That is crazy. Reminds me up our map. You said. You said the amount of damage on that large.
Well, let's say black ones. And part of that is. Yeah, like I said, part of that also I upscaled it. So that way would actually be a bit of a fight with you guys. That's it. Yeah. But the idea being is that it's kind of it felt a little bit more secure that it can do something in here because it was afraid with the white light down here and there.
    So yeah.
And all right I'm going to use all the stuff the best way I got through like two potions, I got poison to apply. I got everything going on as well.
