Volcanic Dragon Lair, Unknown Location   Recap
The party was taken to a dangerous Black Dragon named Irgish the Illustrious that the Cosmic Cat Guide of the Cats of Ultharr claimed would be helpful in them gaining power after they learned how to create objects in the Dreamplane. They created a Dream Stone which would help them stay in the Plane of Dreams when they face Vecna

Summary

The party found themselves in a precarious situation as they prepared to face the Black Dragon, Irgish the Illustrious, that had been terrorizing the region. Their Cosmic Cat Guide had previously attempted to lead them directly to the beast, but the encounter had gone disastrously wrong, forcing a retreat through mystical Time Rifts. During their respite in the The Mists of Concatenation, Calliope Galanodel experienced a startling revelation - a memory that had been magically altered was suddenly corrected, revealing that the experimental notes they had discovered were not about controlling a god, but about replacing one entirely, specifically the god of time using a modified version of Karsus's legendary spell.   The cosmic cat, having witnessed the failed timeline through the Time Rift, provided the party with crucial tactical information for their second attempt. Rather than approaching the Dragon directly, they would need to first neutralize a chamber that served as a staging area for the cult's reinforcements. This antechamber contained a magical orb connected to the Shadowfell that allowed Undead Creatures to pour through portals, and acidic waters that would prove deadly to traverse on foot. The cat warned them about the dangers of the floating orb of Light, which would burn anyone who came too close, and emphasized the importance of destroying it to seal the portals before confronting the Dragon.   Emerging from the mist into the flooded cavern, the party immediately recognized the perilous nature of their environment. The acidic waters bubbled and dissolved anything that touched them, while the air was thick with noxious fumes and swarming insects. Ancient stone archways reminiscent of Fae Wild architecture rose from the toxic waters, creating narrow walkways and bridges that offered the only safe passage. The party quickly realized that conventional movement would be impossible, leading them to transform into giant eagles through a combination of Polymorph magic and wild shape abilities.   Taking to the air, the party began their aerial reconnaissance of the chamber. Calliope, carrying Barlo, and Shadow, bearing the polymorphed Owlbear Artie, soared over the dangerous waters toward the central area where the magical orb pulsed with ominous Light. Their approach did not go unnoticed, as skeletal Lizardfolk guards spotted them and raised the Alarm. The first engagement came swiftly as they encountered a massive skeletal creature on one of the stone bridges, which Calliope and Barlo quickly dispatched, watching as mystical energy flowed from its destroyed form toward the central orb.   The battle intensified as more enemies revealed themselves throughout the chamber. Lizardfolk shamans emerged from concealment, casting protective spells and summoning fiendish spirits to guard the area. Snipers hidden in the acidic waters launched javelins at the flying party members, while banshees materialized to unleash their devastating wails. Shadow responded with lightning arrows that cracked the crystalline structure within the magical orb, while Bastion unleashed scorching rays that further damaged both the orb and surrounding enemies.   Barlo's determination led him to attempt a dangerous passage through the area surrounding the orb, where the necrotic Light burned at his flesh with each step he took. The magical radiance tried to strip away his very life force, but his Barbarian constitution allowed him to endure the punishment long enough to strike at nearby enemies. Recognizing his peril, Calliope performed a daring aerial rescue, swooping down to grab him and pulling him to safety while simultaneously using him as a Living projectile against another foe.   The enemy shaman attempted to obscure the battlefield by casting a Fog Cloud over the central orb, hoping to protect it from further attacks. However, Shadow's magical prowess proved superior, as a well-placed spell not only damaged multiple enemies but also broke the shaman's concentration, causing the protective fog to dissipate. The Spirit Guardians that had been protecting the area vanished as their summoner lost control of the magic.   As the battle raged on, the party made important tactical observations. Barlo noticed that several of the Lizardfolk guards wore distinctive Obsidian pins shaped like Dragon skulls, marking them as higher-ranking members of the Black Dragon's cult. The banshees proved particularly dangerous with their supernatural wails that could instantly kill or cause devastating psychic trauma, forcing the party to rely on their mental fortitude to survive these attacks. Meanwhile, the magical orb continued to show signs of damage, with golden Light beginning to seep through the cracks in its crystalline surface.   The final phase of the battle saw coordinated efforts from the entire party to eliminate the remaining threats. Bastion moved closer to the orb despite the necrotic damage, using his spiritual magic to destroy banshees that attempted to flee. Sas transformed back from her eagle form at a crucial moment, allowing her Druidic spores to damage nearby enemies while she engaged in close combat. Barlo's rage-fueled attacks proved devastating against the Lizardfolk guards, even as he endured acid damage from the toxic waters.   The climactic moment came when Shadow delivered the final blow to the magical orb. The crystalline structure exploded in a shower of mystical fragments, causing the portals on either side of the chamber to collapse and seal shut. As the Light faded, a golden orb fell to the ground - another Gem of Tharizdun similar to those Sas already carried, representing yet another plane or world. With the last of the Lizardfolk guards eliminated by Shadow's precise archery, the chamber fell silent except for the bubbling of the acidic waters.   The party had successfully neutralized the staging area and sealed off the cult's reinforcement routes. The path north now lay open, leading directly to the Black Dragon's lair where they would face their ultimate challenge. The golden orb that had emerged from the destroyed magical device suggested that their victory here had freed another trapped realm, adding to their collection of planar gems. With the portals closed and the undead threat eliminated, they were finally ready to confront the ancient evil that had been terrorizing the region, knowing that this time they would face the Dragon without the constant threat of cultist reinforcements pouring in to Aid their Draconic master.

    Notes

    Transcripts
All right. I think we're everybody here. So let's figure out where we are. So for you guys, last game.
    Was an opportunity.
For you guys to kind of see with, you guys can manipulate the powers that exist inside of the dreamscape. You guys were in the midst of concatenation, where the, cats of authority and the cosmic, cat guide, which doesn't seem to have a name more than that at this time. You guys learned that he seems like he's helping you guys.
It's hard to say if it's reluctantly or not, but he's been kind of tasked to help you guys because of, Paradox, aka Grok Guard, aka captain MacLean, who is currently, being held hostage along with a few others by the evil Lich Vecna. Or at least a small part of that Lich that is still holding on to existence inside of the dreamscape.
So. Something else that was going on there too. But the main thing was at the end there, after you guys had spent some time, an author like you has actually did go to the, the library and everything there is did some shot there. So you guys did some shopping. Found out that you guys had some mysterious Obsidian daggers in your possession and don't know why.
But you guys tried to recall the memory of how those came in, how you acquired them and feel like something must have happened. But there's no recall of anything there.
You guys got a letter from Alice, which is possible. You've got that letter before, but you're not sure. But either way, you guys, did get a little update about what was going on in the, your, That's what I'm looking for here. I guess your bastion, if you will. And what's been going on there?
You guys also converted some of your Gold into, gems. Took a rest. Went to the the cosmic pac guy through the mist. Went to author, went to The Exposition and checked out some Books. There.
And then after coming up, creating your stones, the cat pretty much. Explained that you guys still needed a little bit more, power of some sort, and that it might be a good idea for you guys to assist with the the situation with the Black Dragon. He was kind of vague on everything. He seemed a little impatient and kind of sent you out there.
As you guys, came out of the mist. You found yourselves? Yeah.
Found yourselves in a, large cavern room with, So we'll do I'll put you guys.
    This time. Here.
As you guys had kind of come into a room, there was, a bunch of, bad water. There was, acrid smells. There was bugs everywhere. Like, a bit of mist. And that was like, very acidic and, putrid. And in the moments that you guys found yourselves here.
Within a beat of entering this room, each one of you all of a sudden feels a, the hottest heat, just, like, come across your body. You you all kind of start breaking out a bit and sweat. It's hard to see anything as you feel like, the whole room fills with a very bright white Light with these little Silver and blue streams of Light that kind of flicker through and and Jet off.
You can't see anything else besides that. And then you hear, like, a loud ear piercing screech, almost making you deaf. And that moment. First of all, you guys are still pretty close to the mist where you can kind of share you guys, visions and, thoughts and everything. And especially since you guys do have those stones, which at this point, they're they've kind of disappeared as you've exited the mist, but Calliope starts having a vision.
A memory, if you will. When you guys had been in the mansion recently with the Rakshasa and all of that. There was a room you guys were talking to a, like a a a little, guy that was kind of like, doing all types of experiments. And Calliope had got a little curious, and she looked at a note, some notes, and they were talking about, how to use that tiny egg to control a god.
And in this moment here, she feels that that memory was false. There was some type of dwemer or something going on in that moment, so that she had the impression that it was about controlling a god. But in this moment, she has the true memory, kind of, kind of come to her. And all of you, you guys kind of see the, the, the memory as the notes were actually on how to replace a god, not control a god.
Namely, it seems that they want to control the God of time. This seems that this is based on a spell that curses. You guys had heard about curses one time. And how curses had tried to take the powers of a god. Somebody had, replaced his spell and hid it in a magic book that's protected by cubes, if you will.
Which is why that became cast is falling.
That all said, in this moment, something kind of odd. And you're also getting, memories when you guys were. And, the flying key and best seem to had, said you had died in there, and that instead she had sent you guys to everyone to protect you from the god of death from taking you and figured that it was a good way of kind of cheating death for you guys for a moment.
You kind of feel that same kind of thing in your inside of you right now. I need everyone to give me a strength saving throw.
I knew that was gonna happen.
    It's fine.
Bastion, is your strength score the same as your strength? Save.
Okay. So all of you, except for, Barlow? Excuse me, but when I see the. You guys real names. It's all right. Do what you got to do it. I just it's funny because, like, the. Don't worry. Don't worry about. Don't worry about. I'll be fine.
So everybody except for Barlow, you find yourselves being wrapped. All of a sudden, kind of something, grabs a hold of you. It's a it looks thin, like the strong, fleshy tentacles that kind of grab a hold of you. As in that moment as the white Light is kind of fading and you're starting to see yourselves back in that, swampy cave.
Barlow sees this, and just in the moments as this tentacle is starting to wrap around you, you're able to kind of push it off of you, and it's not restraining you.
It was not a spell. In fact, as you, as the, tentacle, if you're able to look back and where the tentacles are coming from, you see, at the edge of that mist, you see about five little cats with their mouths open and the tentacles coming out of their mouths. And as it's grabbing you, you hear inside your head.
The voice of the cosmic cat saying, please be quiet. I need you to come back to the mist.
How about we come back to the mist and we can make sure we're on the same page with things, because that did not go down very well.
You heard of the two? You're not being held like the others. The rest of you guys feel the tentacles that are around you, not tugging at you, but with a slight pull of kind of like a reassuring trying to bring you guys back in.
    So.
    You guys, deep.
You're where you need to be, but not yet. And before we disturb the Black Dragon and have another bad incident, I think we should return to the mist. And maybe I can clear it up a little bit more. And maybe I was a little too hasty in the first time.
If you haven't figured out, retconning in this game is actually part of the storyline.
I put it in into the storyline. So do you guys start going back to the mist?
Okay. As you can do, the, the tentacles, as you guys do, kind of turn around, start going back in the tentacles kind of release. You see the cats kind of at this point. Yeah. They're cats. They start ignoring you and start wandering back into the mist. It seems that they were probably called. They're pretty much flirtations.
    Yes.
Captain Marvel? Yeah. Yeah, they're pretty much flirting in types. So as you guys come back into the mist, and the mist kind of envelops you again. The Celestial cat is once again sat in there and says, I'm sure that you guys have had a few experiences with, these time rifts and situations, and, it seems that this one helped you guys out.
Because that did not go well. So let me give you guys a little bit more story about what's up with this Black Dragon and why that might help the Black Dragon that I was kind of told to help you guys Lead you to that in the hopes that you guys will take care of him because he's.
He's a Black Dragon, and black dragons tend to be very evil. Some of the most evil of dragons, if you will. This one has a whole cult dedicated to it. In this mountain. And, I had taken you directly to the Dragon, hoping that the cult members would not be able to, they wouldn't be a fight.
Because if you had to fight your way through the cultist, that would be pretty very difficult. There's a lot of them, and they, And as I seem to recall now, because when these time rifts happen, us cats can kind of see all the different routes that they take. I know what just happened. And, even though you guys have no memory of it, I do, and it was not good for you guys.
So I think the best idea would be go to the room that leads into there. And if you were able to take out the portals there, that might make sure that there's nobody else that will intrude with you guys fighting the Black Dragon.
So I will give you a little bit more information this time, so there's less likely chance of you guys dying. I'm going to drop you guys off into a room where very much like this one. It's very hard to kind of see things, and the water is very acidic, so I would stay out of the water. You are going to find that there is a, a floating white Light in the middle of the room.
And when you that is something that you cannot get too close to. Otherwise you will take damage. But if you're able to Knock it out and destroy it, it will just block off its, link to the shadow. So. So that's going to be the first thing. Also on the sides of it are a couple portals. Hopefully when you destroy that, orb of Light, it will destroy the portals.
And then you can just go north and you'll return to where the Black Dragon is, where nobody will be able to really involve themselves in that battle, that conflict. I would say try to stay out of the water, and I would try to take the orb down quickly, because its connection to the shadow fell allows various Dead creatures to enter.
The, the waters. There's a couple bridges, there. That's pretty much. Where are you going to be? They're going to have probably a few undead in there. There's a lot of, like, lizard creatures that are dedicated to the Black Dragon, so there's probably some of them in there. But to be fair, most of them are outside of these caves.
He doesn't want to be in here. Outside of the fact of what just happened. And they can come in through the portals.
Yeah, I would focus. Yeah. And there's a good chance that with the, the portals, they,
I personally don't know if they're powered by that orb or not, but you can figure it out when you're there.
    And when?
    The Rangers know. Oh.
    I think running time you.
    He's metagaming. You.
    Oh I see.
    It takes time and money.
    Maybe.
I'm not certain what'll happen if we were to procrastinate too long on this mission. To be honest.
So if you guys are ready, he starts kind of walking, looking back to see if you guys are following.
And as you guys do come through, we come through into a room that looks it feels very similar because it's part of the same network.
On the south of this map.
As you come out of the mist. You do see in front of you, very accurate waters, to kind of help you. I did do this, which is if you watch the the map right now. How that part, you can kind of see how much of it's pretty much covered in water.
So, yeah, it's mostly, you see, that's got the same kind of. It's, It's what I'm looking for. Flooded in here. In front of you is, a little bit of a landing, but then it goes straight into the waters. Across it though, right here. You do see some bridgework. And let me see what you guys can see.
Oh, I'm over there. That's what. It's best trying to see what he can see. Oh, you can't really see too far.
So it's kind of misty in here, so it's hard to see.
With the the way that the map works. So you can cheat with the map, I think, and see what's kind of ahead of you.
With that, though, there has not been any real loud noises, so there's no combat yet. You do hear ahead of you. I think some things kind of sloshing through the water a little bit.
Oh, yeah. You can see that thing,
You'll see it better when you get fight it, but it's a, it's a skeletal, lizard full. It's a very large lizard, man. It's just Skeleton.
Belly? Yeah, but, give us one second here, guys, for a quick.
    Up.
    My neck.
    Atticus.
I'm a very quiet person, Atticus.
    Where's that? A kiss? I think I got a little.
    It's a good.
    Love you.
Hey. Tomorrow. Well, dude, like your face up.
    All right.
    I'm.
    Not very.
All right, so I think we're all back. Yeah, I just.
    Give me a perception check.
    All this.
Just double check your. Make sure I got my notes. I kind of did off top of my head.
Okay. So with your perception as you're kind of, taking in the sounds, the looks and the smells, there's definitely just like the smell of death in here. And just acidic, disease. It feels like, you can hear all throughout just, various flies and bugs that are just all throughout this mist and, Darkness.
The, with your score. What was it again? So it's it's urban, perception. You're definitely hearing, something clattering on solid ground in front of you right about here.
Can you see, can you see in the black? Yeah. Okay. Off to the side. Because that was a pretty good perception check. You're hearing some of the sloshing over here, maybe some over here sloshing up to the right. Definitely off to. There's a little bit more often left side here. And, you're hearing, in the part that you can actually see because the way the Light Work it, it's kind of Weird how you can see the Light there, even though you're on that side, because I'm not facing the mic that's on me.
But I will say that you can hear at least those creatures that you can see in that Light up there. You can hear, creatures that are scuffing and, clanking. Definitely. But the thing that you heard on the walkway here and, past it, you can hear, it sounds like just Bone on Rock. Just that kind of, sound.
And in that center of that Light, which Jamie can see, but shadow can't see.
From not that point. You can hear murmuring, chanting, some type of spell being cast or, a religious right being performed in there. You can hear, very distant, almost like it's coming through a tunnel. It sounds like, screams and, torture, maybe of some sort.
I will even say with that score off to the sides, which Jamie can see, but shadow can't. Those little blue, those like, blue green kind of things from those points ahead of you, you can hear various kinds of, clattering and movement. It's hard to really make out what's going on, but it sounds like there are a lot of, a things going on behind and those areas, but also it's got that kind of sound coming through a tunnel and kind of reverberating off.
You can tell this is all very quiet from your distance, but with your Ranger, skills and experiences, that's everything you're able to take in. But the thing is that for me, it's not quite, you know, because there's a lot of, like, the kind of mist this, like, acidic kind of mist that's all around you.
    So that would be blocking.
Me? You're not seeing any. No. That seems like it's a very dark tunnel. Very dark cave.
    Yeah.
And then right here, by the way,
Okay. There's two things that are. There's two little round things are, looks like tree trunks that are just a little bit above the water. So they're actually not in the water. I'm not sure if you can see those actually. Fair.
    Yeah, you can see.
Let's go ahead and get, Since she did pass, though, trace, and I'm guessing you guys are being stealthy. Let's do a stealth check.
    Just more stuff.
    Just.
    Nice.
You know, let's go ahead and do it. Give me another d20. I usually do for the combat ones, but let's do it on that.
    15
    You want now?
So what they kind of gave you the hint was, this is a, room that's connected to the chateau. Fill in. That portal needs to be taken care out. So that way, undead don't come in and fight with you guys in the dragons and these portals on the sides, and they'll be taken out. At this.
Oh, you're down in the south.
Oh, I got you know, I like that because that's the. You're right there on the very bottom.
And now you, maybe now you understand why. Like what I was trying to try and explain was going on. Yeah. You guys can only see what's down there. You're technically not supposed to see all the stuff you were looking at.
    Oh, no, it's it's.
It's the fun part of playing with d20. Actually, you know what, though? I just realized if we do use the upgraded ones, I could have actually covered all that stuff for the center, because you can do now. Layers.
But we'll try that next time. Maybe we'll try to do the, the new one again. I just, I think they gotten better. So the arc won't disappear like I did the first, last time. So that also, Well, nobody really needs any healing. So that's what you were going to get there. Sass, in that moment, as you're, starting to be sneaky, just for a brief moment, the the Silver Flame kind of just like, kind of lights up around your, mark.
But you are healed up, so. And nobody around you needs any healing, so it's fine.
So as you get to the I, there's the landing here. Kind of stops right there.
I decided to try to make this a little bit harder for you guys to get to do some figuring out how to get across, or just risk it.
So you dropped the little fuzz in there and, you see it as it hits the water. It starts to kind of, smoke a little bit. The, the water is thick and hard to see through. So as it kind of starts sinking into the sludge, you can see it's the fibers, though, are breaking down and bubbling around it a bit.
    By nature.
    It's a very interesting question.
    And there's your answer.
It's it's. Yeah. For Jump. Just.
James, I put up the notes for you.
I would say it's many, many about one.
I got to play for for,
I just yeah, I put it in the chat. The notes on it, because it's scoring a lot of, Yeah. Score.
You got at least ten feet immediately before the Jump. You make a standing lot. Yeah. You cover a number of feet up to your strength score. If you get at least ten feet, then otherwise it's half that. Either way, each foot you clear cost one foot of movement. So it's one for one.
    There.
Yeah. What I saw with, some damage with, like, the Jump. Let me see. Let me see with the one with. Does. I'm actually.
On this one four foot space.
I gotta say, I'm really glad that I did this. Now, that's good to see you guys all trying to figure this out. Thorn, with that, I'm not finding that. It's just.
    Thank you.
Oh. The spell, that's what I'm,
I'm sorry. What was the question?
    Your circle.
    So you.
    Might not find.
    What?
I think of it because it maxes out at the point.
Well, I'll say from from. It looks like the eighth level was the last improvement.
That's shown on the bishops table. Yeah.
It's just. And I will do this with you and, Jamie for shadow. Because the spell does say it's supposed to cause damage. So what I will do is, as you cast it, I will let you kind of try to, will it, so that it kind of doesn't cast it with the thorns. So there would be a slight chance the thorns will still happen.
And I will say that you're aware of that. So it's not like metagaming. You're aware that you've seen people do it, but it's not very easy that it that the spell is made to cause damage. So if I were to try to Jump to that, this is. So what I would do is mechanically, I would still have you do the, melee spell attack.
That's kind of Weird though, too. It's got a range of 30ft, but just to make a barely spell attack, I guess. Doesn't matter. It's it's a range. And melee would be, But. Yeah. Oh I see, yeah, it's almost like a whip. Gotcha.
    I think.
He's like, what, 600 pounds? Yeah. At least.
Oh, they actually get up to 1,500 pounds.
    One.
    Oh.
Looking up, what's the last count? It's a large cavern. The. Granted, you wouldn't be able to actually see that, though, but, I mean, you could tell it. I will say that even though you can't see the top because of all the mist, with that previous perception check, you definitely can tell that it must be pretty high up there with sounds kind of echo and everything.
All right, so who's who's being Polymorph starts.
    So how do.
    What's it to?
    Giant.
    It's kind.
Is it? Yeah. You. You guys all should be long rested, so if you have it, his intelligence is 11 now. Five, five. It's now an 11.
    Just.
Yeah. So let's do this. To make life easier.
I will actually put it into all players.
And then you're also becoming, you're you're wall shaping into an eagle.
    Oops.
    Just. All right.
So I'm gonna puts us off to the side. So you're right there. This one now is already up. Already over here as well.
And and what do you do in Bastion and Calliope?
And a you're. Are you, is like, he's also turning into a Giant Eagle. So for the spells, go ahead and mark those off and for, while shape to do the same. By the way, also put your little Princess up there on the map, bastion, in case you wanted to use her or just.
It lasts for what, like ten minutes?
    It's been like.
So as you guys have kind of conversed, plotted out some ideas, looked around your surroundings, what we'll do, let's. Just. Because everything's kind of getting into folks territory, we'll go ahead and do it as an initiative. Order. So let's do I have I'm not going to put the bad guys on the initiative order yet, but we'll just put you guys on there.
So that will help determine when the combat may or may not happen. And of course, it'll help handle how far you guys can move and do anything right now.
What about doubles up here now.
What's going on here? And a Red Dragon.
I'm so confused. I think I had an old one pop in the mix into it.
    Oh. Nice shadow.
With this really Weird, like, shadows says 25.2 for initiative. And that. I'm not seeing that on the chart. I'm seeing 17.2 and 13.2 for shadow, so I don't want to miss 17. Okay. Barlow was a 24 seven, right? Was this 20 down there?
Bastion, I don't know why you guys don't see what I see, though, too. That's Weird. So let him.
I'm guessing there's going to be a 20, then. Yeah, the top ones that are wrong for five. Okay, that was Weird.
    It's a shadow.
Actually, shoot, I'm thinking in my head now. This is. Well, I guess you're kind of in control of already. Yeah, yeah, that works perfect. Actually, it's the the three, fliers first. Oh, no, it's not I we fix that.
    Part. Okay.
Because this is all kind of modified just for me to kind of keep things organized. We'll say that. Barlow, you're kind of just going to be doing whatever the, the guys, your flier does.
So we'll let, Calliope and whoever you're flying move forward first.
Yeah. Shadow Barlow and, bastion. That needs to be flown on. Are you okay? Barlow or bastion?
    So you're taking Barlow?
We're all adults here. You have a flight of 80ft.
So what you can do is, if you want, you can kind of, like, go, like, okay, kind of thing, you know, and try to figure out until you use your 80ft or so. Like I say, you might need to stop.
That's very good at a clue. So let's do this a little. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So what we'll do is this one hit over here on the left would be, well, this one was supposed to be Calliope on the left. So we will give Calliope pink or, Artie is red. And then right now, you have no color in that.
Oh, let's give you a green. That makes sense.
There you go. Yeah. No, you're right. I'm.
How would I know if it's me? So. Yeah. So what I will say is, let's do this. So 30. That's 80ft right there. Do you want to Fly the straight 80, or do you want to kind of take it in segments?
Segments. So in other words like want to move 20ft, see what happens. 20ft. See what happens. Yeah.
Hey, I'm not going to get to I'm not going to get pedantic on that right now. So.
I will go ahead and within reason, I'm not going to let you go 100ft up into the air. But if you're just going a little bit above kind of thing, but if you do want to go really high up above, then yeah, it's gonna take some of your distance away.
Before we get any further into this, give me one second. Let me get a drink.
So they don't have all of these.
    Yeah, because I.
L bears are diurnal and nocturnal. I was watching. Yeah, they take on that because they are. Honestly, you have realized that Artie is not a it's not like a traditional Owlbear. There's something different about him. And you've been picking up little bits about that. Which is the reason why he hasn't eaten all of your party members. Because, Albus.
So I hope bears tend to not be trainable at all. And they tend to be hungry all the time. That's why they're so bestial, is because they are always hungry. Artie seems to not have as much of a hunger issue, and he has been very protective of you. So there's something up there about.
So. All right, so did you want to, go straight 80ft, or did you want to kind of take your time?
Yeah. So as you go ahead and you can move there.
Up to the. So I can kind of see what you're seeing.
    What does a hundred.
    Yeah.
So as you move that first forward, as you're flying the first 40ft, as you go, it is still dark for you,
I feel like it's a month. Right there, actually, though, as you come up to that point, there at that 40ft is a large, archway.
Oh, that's because you don't have Light. And Albus. I'm sorry. Out. Eagles. Do they have night vision? You can't say pass perception.
But they do not seem to have. They don't have dark vision. But hold on. It.
    Takes the scaffolding up.
But if you have if you have a spell on you before that's still active, right? Or that just with wild shade, it's just. Okay.
Never mind that. Because that would have been.
Stuff. Right? I was just thinking that if. Because if they want to cast their dark vision before they did it, they might be able to have kept that. But not if it's, Polymorph, though I.
All right, well, in that case. And let's do this now.
    Well, you'd be right there.
So as you're coming up on it, Barlow would be able to see what's on the, bridgework. So what you see right here is, a large, archway, and you're noticing the architecture and the stonework and everything looks very similar. You had when you guys were in the wild. And, as you found out, you release those blights after fighting off the back here and planting that seed.
It looks very similar to that kind of infrastructure here. But you can see it's kind of breaking in. It's kind of being flooded into this, acrid, acidic waters. And on the bridgework, though, there is bridge here, so some solid ground that's not in the water. And it starts right about here. You can see, but right there is the, a large creature.
It looks, like a very large lizard creature, but just the Skeleton of it. And it's walking around and. Just your guys's stealth score was like, in the 20s and whatnot. So I will say at this point, it has not seen you through the mist yet.
    You still have,
    It seems like it.
    Just land.
You can actually see it from your vantage point right here. Shadow. I can looking at a token you can see right here is actually that stonework. And that's where like, you can see a bridge that's kind of broken off in pieces there right at this point. But the actual bridge does start right here.
    Ready?
    Okay. Well,
Okay, shadow, it'll be yours. And, artist turn.
Do what now? I'm sorry. I want to make sure the surprise around attacks in. Yeah. I guess so. Yeah. I mean, you guys, right now, they haven't seen you. So if you're able to surprise them.
Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah, we could do that. Let's just do this one.
And actually looking at it though, Barlow you clip you have both 20. So let's just do this. So she's flying. We'll do that. One is you guys have the same score. So. Does that make sense. So she's the one flying. You.
    Oh I see.
That's fine. You can say you do it right now as soon as you take into the air. Yeah. That's just. But but.
    Oh.
Okay. Do you have a is there a description for it that you can. What's it called?
What was it called again. Chuckle oh did put it there okay. Other. Nope.
Oh my chat had it scrolled. That's why.
With an attack roll damage to it.
    So any.
Well not any spell attack because like if it's if it doesn't have a is an attack. Roll to it. Some of them don't have attack rolls I know that. Yeah. I just felt that too. Oh that's something that's that was,
    I make it. Oh.
    I don't I haven't heard Veronica at all.
Oh. The tap. Yeah, I do get that. Yeah.
    And she's on mute.
    All right.
Oh. Gotcha. Gotcha. That makes sense. Yeah. No, no. Yeah I'm juggling 15 things in my head right now. So.
Yeah. So we'll say is that because that's just your bonus action. So when it's your turn you you just. Yeah. That was All right. So Calliope, how how do you want to move it?
Since I'm assuming movement, we first.
Yeah, yeah. Just having you, move your tokens. That way we can kind of figure out where you're going to go or. No worries. Roll 20 units. That is.
You are back where you are right now. So I think everybody wants to move forward. Yeah, I gotcha.
So once again with that 40ft you can see that one creature that's off there on there.
I should do a perception on him at this time. He does actually see you. It's just I just rolled a 20 on his perception check. So as you come across, as you come over the, the archway, you do see him tilt his head and look at you and I guess at this point, we will actually go into an actual order.
Let me get some people on the chart now and then, because you guys are doing the sneak attack, they have to roll their perceptions. And if they fail, then yes, they lose their turn. I'm correct on that. Right, Barlow? They have to. They still get a perception check.
    That is horrible.
Shit. They're all on that layer so you can see those all populating,
Yeah. You guys could hear creatures all throughout the room.
You guys are high level now, though, and you guys kind of walk through a lot of things.
    This is, what, 14 now?
Yeah. You guys are taking on things that are universal no longer. Little skirmishes.
    Like how Vecna.
    Or a Black Dragon.
After just taken down a Dragon.
Thing. And that should be it for now. Not a natural one. Calliope turned into one.
    So.
I think we'll actually, we can keep our Light at the top. But you guys are just kind of sharing the turn in this first one. So because the mechanics all right, so, Calliope, you have moved up there using up half your speed. What do you do next? Let's put some fighters.
    But I think.
It doesn't it. He has multi attack with his beak and talons.
And I'll let you Barlow if you want to Jump off or whatever during her turn you can do that or whatever too. So it would make sense that she has to go all the way and then you're like, okay, now it's my turn. I would have jumped off back there. So.
    Okay.
    All right.
And so is that the beak attack or the talent attack?
So that's going to be a 23 to hit. Which five feet one targets? I got two d6 plus three.
Yeah. This thing has a pretty low Armor class. You notice as you kind of come in for your attack. Eight seven. So let's just see.
    Oh, yeah.
So let's see here. So that's another 25ft right there. So I'm not sure you would spend half. So it's you at 65 right now.
Use the restroom moving to go up in the air okay.
So 70. So you get 15ft of movement. So I can do this.
    There you go.
All right. Is that all your, stuff there? Calliope?
    And Barlow.
You jumped off. All righty. So, first of all, let's take care of the, the attack first.
    What's the damage? And everything?
    Give me another d20, though.
You gained five hit points of Silver Flame healing for yourself for another 30ft. I gave you a little bit of something there. I don't want.
To. All right, all right. So that's our little Calliope.
    That's.
    What's up?
Perception. Oh, well, he's got a pretty good perception.
So I guess what would happen is based on that is as,
Actually, no, that wouldn't be enough, though. Anyway.
We will say that's not enough, because you guys did really good on those rolls. Shadow and, Artie.
    Like an eagle.
Yep. Because your character token has, night vision. Go ahead and use your character token. This. Does that make sense? And then move the eagle after.
So as fast as you go there.
And then I kind of wanted to go.
    20ft up.
    On this.
    Okay.
That's going to hit. But just do the damage on the first one.
    So yeah.
Oh, that actually, shoot, Calliope would have got that extra.
Yep. Because that might be important. Guess what? Yeah. So we'll retcon this moment. No. No need for the white Light or anything. Time. Just all of a sudden you realize that as our, that pretty much when Barlow would have struck would have been the killing blow, then. Just.
So as that happens. The, the bones kind of, break apart. There is a release of this bluish energy and little, like, black mist that comes out in between all the the connections of the bones that are holding it together as it kind of goes out. You also see that that, Bluish Light kind of almost becomes like this, like, smoke thing, and it kind of starts moving towards the center, north of you guys.
And it goes into that area there.
And the bones hit the ground, and there's a little bit of that noise. It kind of reverberates through as it happens. Yeah. You guys still have the first round to see if they're able to kind of be aware of what's going on. You guys have really high stealth scores, but there are there are starting to be aware that you guys are here.
Anything else? Okay. And do something. No no no I need to be to have a fair shot at you.
So, I mean, oh, can you see from your vantage point right now?
So from your vantage point, you really can't see yet? It's about 58 on the screen. Look at me. You would have to get closer to be able to see it, because, yeah, this is a pretty thick, kind of, soup here.
From here, Let's see, I'd have to get an idea to see your token. You. Would you let me see what you see with your elven eyes? All right, so what I'll say is, as you get closer to that area, you're able to kind of see it because, in this area here is a, pretty.
The Light here is actually breaking through the fog area. So you can see there's like a clearing here in the center here. At that point, though, I can go ahead with these guys back on the map.
So as you kind of able to see that area, you see another one of these creatures that you just, saw falling from Barlow's hit, you see. Oops. That's not there, nor that.
You see, it's these two guys here, chanting, doing something kind of focused their energies on what's going on here. The center. That's the orb that's floating up above the, It's only floating about, we'll see about four and a half, five feet from the ground. It's a not the brightest Light. It's kind of a Weird, kind of dull Light, but that dull Light is lighting up this whole circled area.
And once again, yeah, this looks like the same kind of, infrastructure you had seen in the that little area. The fey, wild. From your point, see what else you can see?
I guess you'd be able to see that there's a pathway that kind of goes north. And then, of course, on the side pathways, they go into looks like portals to some other areas. You'd also be able to see that there's guards on those portal areas that I didn't put back on the map.
So that's. Yeah. What's your policy at this point? So an interesting one. This what, the, orb? Yeah. I believe it does. This is what I would tell my notes on that.
    Which.
    They. Yeah. Yeah.
    Oh.
    That's.
    A creature we see rotate.
Now, granted, you were supposed to cast a spell before you do the attack. That, by the way, I think is the only a different. I know what the problem is. It says next time you make a ranged weapon attack. And what you did here was you made the successful attack, and then you're like, I'm making that a lightning now.
So I was trying to not put a game. I hold the 21 and then you were like, oh, like until you're right, you're right. I'll give you that. Well, then the same thing though. The lightning I got you, I got you. You're right. And you were attacking something different I you're that's totally you're right. No, I don't want you to risk it.
That's fine. Okay. I guess what I just want is that in the future, try not to do the spell after, because, like, it changes the dynamics of it. So.
You're right, you're right. This is different. I got you. So, time, So it turns into a bolt of lightning.
The attack roll is normal, so the target takes 48 lightning damage on a hit.
And so you're attacking the orb. So go ahead and give me the damage. 28.
    More for.
So, eight points on, you see the one, the, lizard been next to it takes some damage.
You see these, like, Ghost banshees nearby?
That I have where I was the scene.
But, yeah, so far, the first one took the full brunt of the damage. It looks like, So one thing. Yeah.
    The Banshee.
    70. You see that the Banshee is, It looks like it should have taken the full brunt of the damage, but for some other reason, it did not.
    The next one,
Oh, no. It should. Have that. The next one takes the the full damage kind of comes across it, but it also does not, take the full damage for some other reason.
You are aware that, with your, travels, that some creatures might not take the full damage of, say, fire or lightning or.
Ice. Just give me one second. I have one more here. Yeah.
    Me spells.
But this guy here takes the whole damage. All right. Now, what's up with the second?
    Yeah. She she can.
    Second.
    She's running.
I can't turn to token. Okay. All right. I'm sorry. What? What's the full damage? 30 to 32.
Okay. As you, as the first bolt of lightning hits it. You see that? It kind of, there's something solid inside of that bit of Light. So you hear it, and it sounds like it's breaking onto Crystal or glass of some kind. As the Light charges kind of shoot out at the everybody, you shoot your second arrow once again, you can hear it.
It sounds like glass crystals or something along those kind of barriers. But it also you hear a chip at it. Anything else?
    Okay.
I got, ready to try to see if he's able to react. You got a natural 20. So as you, took down the first one and attack the orb and he gets shot, he's able to, to react.
    It's character. She.
You see this, lizard for, looks like he's some type of, witch doctor of sorts.
So check the rules on one thing.
You see him, kind of casts some type of spell. These little, like,
Little evil, fiendish looking glow, creatures of, like, almost Ghost, like, kind of start kind of coming up around them.
We have to Work for this.
    To focus.
I'll just use the spectrum here to kind of.
Work for where he is. His little, Spirit Guardians. That kind of pop up.
The cast. It doesn't even seem to be affected by.
It's a 15ft radius around him. Nevertheless, it's actually what I should do. Is this.
    There. So that's his turn.
Off to the right. You hear a sound? Calliope and shadow.
    You hear something?
    Moving in the water.
I'll pop say, lizard full creature as he jumps up. Well, is it again? 1532?
Actually, he would see the, Arlo more than he would see the guys up in the air.
So that's going to be, 23 Barlow.
You take, seven points of piercing damage as this jawbone comes out of nowhere. You didn't really get much of a chance to, kind of even see it. But just like, like a sniper, like a Special Forces pops out of the water and throws a javelin at you. That's, Yeah. You see, like this, lizard folk off to your right that just popped up.
Do I have not have more on that later? No, I do not. That's why,
So there it is, right here. Says you are a.
But you're Darkvision comes from a spell, right?
So you have to you have to actually cast it from the tattoo. I'll be nice, though. I will will will retcon it. Say that you would have cast the before you did it.
So, what I would do is what I've been doing out there. Everybody else just move your character token with it. Since your character token has Darkvision on them, I believe.
So as you, as you come into, where the melee is taking place, you see, the two other eagles flying up in the air, Barlow standing there in front of a pile of bones and off to the side popping out of the water, is a lizard man creature.
Yeah. That the. Oh, no. It's only rogues that can use their bonus action, right? Or.
Can everybody use bonus, Dash as a bonus action? Or is it just Rhodes? That's what I thought. Okay.
Associates in America. There you go.
    I moved it for a.
    Yep.
    Yeah.
Oh, yeah. Hold on, hold on. It's not your turn. Yeah. No, you got bad guys.
Right. But there's an issue of order, and I've got bad guys.
The. So the way it works with the surprise is that, like, you don't automatically. Hey, I get to kill everybody. They everybody still has their passive perception. So when you pop, just like if they try to surprise attack you, your passive perception, passive perception might save it. So that way you're like, hey, I saw that coming out of nowhere.
But you guys have pretty high stealth scores. So for the most part, they don't see you.
Yeah. So far, that guy did because he got a natural 20.
The red thing in the center actually is the one that did, realize there you guys are under it. He's under attack. As he got hit by the Lightning Arrow, and, he casts, like, Spirit Guardians. So there's, like, these little red demons floating in that area. Definitely.
    His passive perception.
Is is pretty low. So that was close. He almost did. Now, best aura.
    Got.
Well, yeah, I think you have a cast them all at the same time.
    That's the.
Yeah. No, that's the thing. I kind of sucks about it, but the fun part.
So you said three on the first guy. And how many on the. The thing in the center.
    So it's, See,
So, Ray, one is going to be. Oh, shoot, the Deer may else do an attack. You know.
Because you're actually rolling, but you only get a, I think, got one. Right. Chuckle for the rage.
It's just on him. It would just be on the first attack. Right?
    Chuckle.
Oh, how dare you. So it's just on one attack. Like the first attack, right? Or.
So says one. So you get I'll let you choose which one it goes on to. So we'll start with let's see here 25 plus. What's the, Because what's the, well, you're not doing the tongue of victory, right? That's okay.
Well, didn't you have to, like, do it beforehand?
Listen, to do you not have the highest Armor class? So that's going to hit, the first attack would have been a five against it.
    And the raid number two.
    On that one. Okay.
So as that extra rage hits that first one, the second one is a 14, so that's not going to hit, the cast raid, that last one you had and that it was 12. That's not going to hit it, unfortunately. The orb, however. Raid two was a 14 to hit, and raid three was a 14 to hit.
Yeah. Its Armor class is higher that.
Right. The first three was aimed at him, but the second two missed. Yeah. So raid number three. I'm sorry. Raid number four is a 12.
Yeah, just as that one. Kind of like skims right across the top of the edge of that white Light. But the next one's going to hit it at seven.
And, damage six will hit it. And the five. Okay. So total,
    18
Okay. So do I have a d20 and what's, 510. So, ten, so 28 that's going to hit. So go ahead and roll a two d6.
    So to top.
Okay. So the as the, the fire, strikes into the Light. You hear it like smash, like it's like hitting glass or Crystal. It kind of like, explodes into, like, little mist of, little modes of smut. Fire come out of the Light as it's damaging the orb that's inside of there. Anything else?
    What's that?
They have a pretty low pass. So he's not going to be able to respond to that.
He is Dead, so he's not going to respond to anything again.
All right, Barlow, you're up. Calliope on deck.
It's like Lord of the rings in here.
And even though the map makes it look like it's blocked here, it's actually kind of like a little archway with those. Those, how those stones go across. So there's a little bit of a passageway, actually, right there.
No, no, no. Yeah, it's it's all solid run. But you do notice that the Light of the, dome of the thing in the center does kind of start petering out at the edge of this, stonework.
All right, so hold on right here. Stop right here. As you get. Move, move forward one as you hit that point right there.
Yep. As you hit that point right there, the Light that's in front of you, it starts kind of burning into you. You take six, five points in the chronic damage.
You take another four points in the chronic damage.
    Before,
So these guys do not have the the greatest of AC. So that's going to hit go and do the damages first because it isn't.
So was it, 18. Go ahead. Yeah.
Yeah. The first one, takes it down the size of that second one does kill it.
    No. They're undead. He's a Skeleton creature.
    He.
The circle. Yeah. That's what it looks like. I would say even with the intelligence of Barlow, you. You'll be safe to make that assumption. It's not totally true. But let's say if to make that assumption.
    That that's green. That's green.
    So, 35, that's, What, seven.
If it makes you feel any better, though, it's d6. So it's not like a 8 or 10.
To be fair, you did it to yourself.
That's going to be 27 points of necrotic damage as each step you take, as you're piercing through it, you could feel like the Light. Try just like trying to burn at your flesh and try to expose your Skeleton.
    Do me a favor, though,
Okay, give me a favor. Since you are kind of like, you're taking all this for reasons I now explain later. Maybe, give me a, perception check, but at a disadvantage.
Oh. Oh, no. Okay. Nothing. No, we have to get a good, Oh, wait. Did I ever give you. Yeah, you did get a little bit of healing. That would have been helpful. Now. Okay, you're all done.
Calliope, you are up, shadow. You'll be.
Yeah. Now, there's a slight chance right now, so, it might. I wanted to give you that, shadow. You were on deck after lizard. A lizard for future with Calliope. You're up now.
    I'm guessing that the same.
    Yes.
I'm pretty. There's a Giant Eagle, stat! You should be able to see the, character sheet. When you did see it, you saw the multi-time.
So. Well, technically, you are Polymorph, so you do have his intelligence of an 11. So you're not gonna be able to do anything too complicated, but you want you would be able to have enough of, like, an understanding that you need to fight. You're not going to be, jester as a moth kind of situation.
I mean, technically, you wouldn't be able to talk to your teammates. That's a technical problem. Well, actually, you understand common and or you just can't speak it, so you'd be able to understand what they're saying.
Which means actually, technically, right now, is the first time that, Hardy can actually understand you guys a little bit without whatever empathy that he's been using.
    So this is.
So you would have seen him. It looked like you saw him kind of through the, the pillars. But he was running off towards this bridge. Work over here where you do see a portal that's being guarded by one, by one of these, by a larger, meaner looking lizard creature. Yeah.
I think I think that one, though, is, that was Artie, your pink.
    Yeah, that's 65.
That'd be a safe assumption. And you would have also seen as he was running through, you would have seen almost like, like, almost like wisp of fire trying to burn at him a bit. And you could see Winstead as he was taking on some pain as he was running through here. So you'd be able to assume that.
All right, so here's what we'll do. As you come in on him, I'll put it a low DC. But I do want you to to, do a, How should I do it? Technically, it's a grapple with a strength check. Or it could be an attack with your talents.
Let's do it as, like, you're trying to kind of grab it. So we'll do more of an attack. Roll.
    So just roll a d20.
So nine plus. So that's a 14. I'll say you're able, like you're able to grasp them as you come down and get them.
    So.
No, I mean as long as you're not, as long as you're not dropping them down above, what, ten feet? But if you even swoop down a bit. So.
Because you'd have to swoop down that low anyways to pick them up. So.
So how much movement did you have?
How much movement was it to get you above the, creature?
That was 65. So? So you have 15ft after that. So, yeah, you wouldn't be actually really be able to get too high at that point then. Anyways, I'll give you though, ten feet so you could be ten feet above him and then swoop him down. So in that case, then what? It's going to have to be is, we'll do it kind of like a as a, as a thrown attack.
So what we'll do and since technically she's the one throwing you,
So let's do, Goddamnit, where's the Giant Eagle? She I lost it. Oh, there. Let's do, give me another d20. We'll add your dex to it.
Why am I not able to put him on the ground there? That's why.
And that's enough to hit him. So in that case, he's going to take, what is it, one d6 for every ten feet.
So you both you and him takes a d6 bludgeoning. So go ahead and, roll. We actually two d6 Calliope because it was an attack and you did do an attack roll. So you rage through him.
    That's six points.
And whatever barley you take, you can roll your own damage on how much you took from it, because you're more of a falling damage.
Well, you only take one of them, though, because you're just taking the fall damage. Yeah, the rage hit is more about what he's taking as the attack. You're just taking fall damage.
That's how I'm doing it in my head.
    So the fastball special.
Will mean you won't have taken any more damage because he picked you up and pulled you out of it, and she pulled you out of that area and kind of threw it. So then you flew over the water at that point.
    Anything else to wipe you?
    You.
Right now we're in this round. No more.
    Ooh, that would make sense.
So he's going to cast a spell.
    You see,
Foot radius. All of a sudden, in the center, where that circle. Where the orb is, that whole area there. You see it? Even cloudier than the area that you were.
That you're dealing with over the water. He's cast a Fog Cloud over it. So you cannot see this sphere now or the orb in there? It's heavily obscured in that area. Which means, what disadvantage to attack the orb. Now.
Heavily obscured. Casting eyes are just killing me right now.
I think that's I think it's a disadvantage to attack. And that heavily obscured, on the side.
Yeah, it's Blinded condition. It's trying to seal their.
    No. Come back.
    That's right. All right, so.
That's his turn. Concentrates on that shadow. You were up.
Real quick, there's a couple, enemies, and then, versus next. And so now you can't see. You could see this, like, white, like, just actual fog. Just rolling in, but not natural. But it's not like the same green acidic fog that you're kind of dealing with right now.
    So instead, it's just.
    Like, believe that.
That's the, What is it you're thinking about casting on it?
    I see no, there is.
    Yeah. With what?
    Oh.
I think the I don't know if you can. See, that might have been the problem with it.
Just use the, let's say just use the the one that's. No, in the in the measurement tool, you have one. Now.
Yeah. I'll give it like so. So yeah, that's an interesting, kind of thing because you are firing at something that doesn't have, I mean, granted, it does say each creature, though. That's probably why it says each creature takes damage. It doesn't say anything about, but, in this case, I'll let it. I'll let it Fly.
I will treat it like, almost like, it has creature stats because I, I think it makes more sense, and that's fine.
That's a big tome. So that's a big cone. Yeah. That's it. I know that there's things in there.
So I have one. Do your cone, do your thing. And at the same.
The yours is wider to change the angle. What do you got? About 90 degrees. Yeah, I think I must be 45.
No, but you're using the cone. The degrees, the wider the angle.
    But but here's.
That thing. That's how it's supposed to be. I don't know why they have the three different ones.
    Like this.
It's not. It's not supposed to be 60ft at the tip. It's just 60ft out.
Too many of those Books. Either way. Is it okay? Even at 45ft? Yeah, I just like. Yeah. All right. So yeah, we will, do that. So let's do some, let me do some rolls here. And actually they do it at a disadvantage. Who are inside of the mist because they're obscured.
He's got, like, no hit points.
    Yeah.
So you see, off to the side was this Weird kind of, undead type bird. That thing's Dead. Oops. That's what I want to do.
    Let's just.
    Check.
    Was supposed to be 17.
    Oh, I see.
    All right. So.
Let's see what's going on here.
    So the shaman.
    Dice.
12 or 6. And that's the only thing that's just damage.
So, yeah, he's going to take the full damage because he's not able to. Which is funny, because he's the one that cast the spell and thinking of witch because he cast the spell. That also means he's got to do, oh, that's the tree's attack. And so it's 12. It's more than ten. So it's going to be, 12.
Right. Is that how it works, or is it ten?
Okay. So so, His constitution adds a one, so he's got a three. So as that hits, as the damage is going to hit, he's also going to that thing's going to come down.
And I'm going to do the other damage. His first here got some Banshees.
And what kind of damage is that.
Piercing. What was the damage again?
So what's the damage? 16 or 8. What was it before? Well, I know, I know, I need the the to make the modification. So, 12 and 16. He said, what's the difference? It's a four. So he's going to take four more. Okay. Sorry. I'm trying to do too many math. 16 is the full damage. So yeah, the, but I actually he's not going to take the whole thing because of reasons.
That's a one. So that's going to be a fail. I don't have the disadvantage. So but 16 but he's going to take half for reasons.
It's not like you'd be able to know anyways since they're inside a Fog Cloud. So you really can't tell who's taken how much damage. I think about it.
And that's a failure. But you can take the damage.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Oh, yeah. He's got to do a card check as well. That's what I just was checking. Yes, you're right, that's also a concentration. So as you see, you hear the arrows, as you shoot your one arrow because you shoot an arrow, right? That's what you do. Yeah. Fire a piece. And as the arrow kind of arcs up, all of a sudden you see it kind of like doubling up multiple copies of it, and they all kind of, like, full speed into the the Fog Cloud.
You hear the out, you out, you hear all the noises of the attack. And at that, at the same moment as the, you're hearing those attacks, you would see that the, the Fog Cloud starts to kind of disappear. And, the demon things often cheat and they kind of turn into smoke as well. It's all clear there.
And then the orb has takes some damage there. So it was 16. Ready? It's. Get in there. So you hear it kind of, chipped also inside of that thing. And there you go. Anything else? Bonus action. You got it.
    Lizard full.
    Here.
Not very happy about what had happened.
Component to have, So we're able to.
    No worries.
    Still on.
    She's going to see them.
What's the, AC of the Eagles?
    So already gets hit.
Who turned them into an eagle?
No, no. Okay, I gotta remember that, too, because that means bastion also has to worry about his concentration checks.
So he takes 14 points of psychic damage.
He's also got a disadvantage on the attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws until the end of the lizard folks. Next turn.
What's their HP? 26. So you're going to need a strong offensive. That's what he's open. All right. He's going to also realize, there being an attack. So maybe he's thinking, hey, I need to go get some friendlies over here.
So he's going to run over there. That'll be his turn.
What was the, Eagles? AC again, 13.
So you see a lizard folk, shadow and sass, you see out of the the water over here, a head pops up and as the lizard form pops up, he's going to go ahead and throw a javelin. 21 that hit sass is going to hit.
He takes seven points of piercing damage.
So that's actually gets a little bit more hit points there.
It does that right. Or did I hit the wrong token I hit the wrong token like that. Yeah.
So you're going to get down eight points there.
That's his turn actually. He's got.
    It okay.
Why is it not doing what it's supposed to be doing?
    It's going under.
    So it's good.
What's going on? Are you guys start hearing that sound, or is it just me?
    Yeah, the warp zone.
Why won't it let me switch?
    I don't know what's going on here. That's Weird.
It's. This guy would also shoot out at, Calliope or Sass.
It's going to be 21. That hit.
Him? Seven. You're still up there?
You're hurting pretty bad. Sass as you take two javelin attacks. He's going to go ahead and run up. He's going to swim over here and you see him, then start kind of, running towards the that way.
I took I took it off for you.
Oh, he's in the wrong layer. I bet you that's it's causing a problem here. There we go.
I took it already off for you. I forgot what it was. Total as it goes off of, The eagle form right?
Okay. Seven. I see what happened. What am I, one of the bad guys was on the wrong layer, and so it was having a hard time selecting. Now.
Let's go over here. These guys though, or don't really get.
He's going to have a hard time with all the cover.
Jamie. Veronica, who wants to be high? Who wants to be low?
    Yeah. Always.
Trying to figure out. Yeah. Trying to figure out who's got a ten. Yeah.
    So.
There really are times that roll 20. I feel like, makes things even more different for.
I know he's the one that's over here. He's over here now. He he, swam over to the, bridge and.
    Right here.
That's why. Because the, you're over all the way over there, and he's.
So the short, there's pretty good cover, though, with the things that are here. There's 14 hit the Eagles.
Another five points of piercing damage on Artie. And three points of poison damage.
    Six.
How much damage was did I just say? Was it.
So that's so four points of damage or 4.4 hit points left.
All right, that's his turn. Actually,
Oops. Did I skip sass? Yes, I did, sorry. That's your.
You do see a dude right there?
No. It is, it's right at the edge of the water kind of thing, but it's not under water.
    Okay.
You got to tack that dude.
    So good.
So that's not gonna do much.
That's how I was able to see this guy. Unfortunately, it missed him by one. Like, as you kind of strike down, you see him? He's got this, like, little arm Shield on him, and he kind of pushes it up and he's able to kind of fend themselves off and you off and yeah.
    Yeah.
Yeah I think it's it's pretty much based on the 2024 rules with hers now. So I think it's like anything that's a d20 roll.
Yeah, I gave her the 2024 roll ones because I think it works better for this team. And I gave her the option.
It allows her to use it as a reaction and as opposed to because will also and I think it gives you a little bit of healing an option. All right. So two attacks. What else you got there sass.
All right. We got some, baddies coming up here.
    13. That kind of hits you there. Sass. Yeah. That's going to hit. So out of the water, you see the another one of these, skeletal creatures like you get on the right layer. There you go.
Pops out and throws a Joplin at you.
For five points of piercing damage. So you're still an eagle with, six hit points? Instead of.
    Four.
Try to kind of block the way there.
He was in the water. It seems like some of these lizard creatures are kind of hiding out in the water.
Which is why I can't figure out where this one is.
    Yeah. What the heck?
I have no idea. Where the heck is that?
One of the phenomena, it comes up.
    Though, with the Banshees.
All right, so we have banshees that are hanging out over here.
And they're finally able to do some attacks here.
In the in the center? No. The, barrage of, arrows that shadow took out the concentration of the guy that was doing it.
Oh, shit. Here's the thing. I didn't realize banshees can detect life. They should have realized you guys were here because they could detect life within five miles.
All right. It seems that because the God of time has been captured, that that's another mistake. That all of a sudden caused problems and, then 63 consider this is.
    All other creatures.
    And.
Oh, wow. Is anybody. Yeah. That was.
    Actually.
That's going to be all you guys. They're not going to care. I need a, constitution saving throw from Calliope and Barlow.
    It's gonna.
It's. He doesn't have to actually do what they want.
    To.
Unusable. Find it. So as the banshee kind of floats towards you guys, you hear this, mournful wail as it throws it out at you?
    On a failure.
Would have dropped your hit points all the way to zero. You guys almost died right there on a success. They take.
    So I'm so happy.
    Oh, yeah.
Of course not. No, no, no.
It it said you take 11 points of psychic damage. 11 points. Psychic damage. That would be his turn.
That one's Dead. So we'll take them off the board. All right. We're bastions up, and then the other Banshee, some guys, and then a new round.
Of, Oh. She swoop down to, So, I mean, you could drop down or whatever. Are you. But how high up do you think you are? Unless.
    You can.
But I will let you kind of, jumped off at any time if you wanted to.
When she made the when she made the dive.
So you got two guys. You got one big guy in front of you, and then the little guy next to the.
    It's going to hit.
Let me see. Here's. That's six. That's enough. How do you want to do this?
Yes. He is a humanoid lizard, full.
    You know.
Stars of the Soul. And he dies and traps it inside the tiny cage. Stolen. I'm going to say, for the spell ends. Or until you destroy the cage. Which means the spell.
    Cage.
    Oh. You have to.
    Use the traps.
That's going to hit. So 12 points of damage. Oh, no. It, 22. Oh.
Yeah, it was 21 points of damage. 20. No, only three points.
So that's all right. Once you. Well, I was I forgot. No, no, because there's the 11 for the radiant damage as well. Which is why you do the tree strike. It's inside of the description. I had set it up that way.
So as you, sucked the Soul out of the first one, you turn around and you cast True Strike on the second guy.
Well, shoot, the problem is that that's.
    To spell.
The problem that was. You just use two spells, though, in the same turn.
So I don't think you can do the two. Strike.
    So.
You had enough to kill it anyway, so you had enough to kill it anyway. So just don't just keep your. Well two strike. Is. Is that a cantrip or. Oh, never mind, never mind. If I am I. For some reason I was thinking it was a a leveled spell. You're fine, you're fine, you're fine. Right. Just juggling too many things in my head now.
So. Yeah. You're able to take that one down there. You.
You got it. The second banshee is,
He's going to go to the other.
Yep. Sass and bastion. I need, Constitution checks.
    Ooh. Perfect. Bastion does.
The good news is metagaming. Guys, they can only do this one time of day.
You got so both of you guys, hear this? A mournful. Well, as it tries a tug at your Soul and to take you pretty much Dead, you're able to kind of hold on, and instead, you take eight points of psychic damage.
For, like. And go ahead and give me, 20.
So ten gives you, you gain a one d6 on your next d20 roll, or if somebody rolls a d20 before you and you want the system, you can give them that one d6. So try to remember that, because I'll forget, that's the banshees turn.
    She's fine.
I'm confused. Oh, I got you, got you, got you I got you, I got you.
    Though I got you now.
I was thinking of the d20. I was thinking of the d20 before that, which was her constitution check. That's what I was. Good.
I'm not gonna lie. I was kind of hoping for that, too. He's gonna go ahead and pop out.
And you just popped up, your Shield, the right Barlow.
    12 plus.
    16. Okay. You're fine. So all of a sudden, you see a job and come out of the water and.
Come over here as it misses.
This guy right here is going to throw one at, the flying Eagle over here already with the AC, 13, which is enough. So you see an arrow come right past you guys as well.
    And.
    There's a.
So he would look at the, the, Oh looks.
I forgot, what was your AC again there? Barlow? 18. So 21 going to hit you.
You take three points of piercing and one point of poison damage as an arrow from the other side from the other portal hits. You. Are your mom split up?
And then it's the time for the one that's right next to you.
So he's not going to have to use archery.
Oh, actually, I just realized you actually take a little bit more damage. They have slave flow. You take, five points of, piercing damage as well.
Yeah. They have a thing called slay flow.
They add extra damage to its weapon attacks.
That's it. So he's just going to do attacks on you? So that's going to be.
    18. That does hit you right?
As he bites into you, you take, seven points of piercing damage from the bite, and we take an additional eight points, piercing as the slay foe. Oh, no. I'm sorry, you can't use that. No, no. He can. It's one time to turn. Yeah, it was the other guy that hit here, so. Yeah, eight points of additional.
So. Yep. And then he gets a short sword attack so that one doesn't get the, slave. Oh, that's one. That's okay. He misses with that attack. Anyways. That's his her. You are up. The first one was the bite. That's the one that hit the connected. And then he tried to get you with the short as he kind of, like, let go of the bite.
He tried to. It was kind of like he was trying to use the bite as a, as a way to kind of, like, hold you in place, but it actually put him at a Weird angle. So the short sword misses. Barlow, you are up with Calliope on that, and then shortly after will be shadow.
I do the damage is first, though. Yeah.
Well, as I kind of goes in there, you can see, like, that kind of took, took him down a couple pigs. They're not like, these are not. I guess what I'm trying to say is these are not hit points. You,
They don't have, like, a huge amount of hit points. For the most part, it's more about the fact that there's a lot of creatures here.
All right. I'm pretty sure. Yep. That's more than enough to kill it.
So, first of all, how would you like to do this?
    Yes.
I'm also go ahead and give me a perception with advantage.
I'm letting you do this this time because you got that 20 on that roll. At this moment, you're starting to notice that some of them, the, the creatures, the one that you just killed as he's falling down, you you notice this little, insignia pin that's on him? You know, so I can hear.
There's, like, a little pin, a little pin that's on a made of, like, Obsidian. And when they do the picture.
Yeah. I can't find the picture of it, but is that it? Yeah.
Second here, I just put it on the map. So.
So you notice on, this guard here is this, black Obsidian? It looks like a little Black Dragon skull, pin that's on him. You you also notice that it seems to be on the two that were in here. And this guy over here, you don't notice it, like on the little peons out here or the Dead creatures?
But it's something that stands out.
    All right.
Yeah, that's what I was gonna have you do. 18. Nice and 18 means. And then one more d20.
And 17 means you get to add your proficiency bonus to your next roll.
    You got it.
Under you get to add your proficiency bonus to this. It.
It's, I want to double check here. So your next roll.
I mean, technically, it should be your attack would be your next roll.
Whenever you guys go low. AC. What kind of damage is this thing?
    Slashing and.
That acid though? No, it takes half.
Banshees. I have a lot of. Oh, no. Yeah, they have a lot of resistances. That's why. So that's going to be some.
Well, don't you have rage two on there or.
He'll take the fall for it. Damn it. That's not tight.
    What's that for?
    Said wisdom.
    No. He gets a seven.
    So what does that mean?
    No.
That's def that's not on its list of immunities or resistances or immunity. He actually does have damage immunities, but that's not one of them. That's a good rule, too. So as, like, kind of you see it kind of like, cut right into its, being, if you will, to the point where you like, you kind of see parts of it almost becoming a little physical for a moment as it takes that pain, and then it goes back to its spectral image.
All right, Calliope, you're on an up shadow. You will soon be on deck.
    All right.
No. Yeah, that's going to miss.
So, yeah, you try to get have it's talent and then you. Yeah, totally biffed it. But it actually puts you at a very good advantage point to that. Peck at him with your beak.
    Yeah.
You got it. So you kind of cut them in half as you. The beak goes in there with that rage from your companion.
And anything else? Yeah. He's he's. No, no, you just cut like he's bloodied. He's he's like half the man he once was kind of thing. It's hurt.
Oh yeah. Technically you're right. Yeah. That was a crit. So because of that. Yeah. Let's do the damage first. Actually would be on both of them because it's all rolled that damage. So give me two d6.
So now he's, he's on death's door. He's not Dead, but he's almost. He's mostly Dead. I just that and I need a, d20 as well. Again from me. Now.
That's your 15. That's a good one. I thought he was here. Was too far out of the way. Oh, that's right before it, you get 15, hit points of Silver Flame healing for yourself or somebody that's within 30ft of you.
You can still you still have movement in you so you can still Fly. I'll let you Fly before you pass it over. It's all within the same turn.
Oh, yeah. There would be a.
Look at that. Say 1530. I see, 30ft.
Oh, yeah. Yeah. You're I. Yep. It's already gets 15 points of healing.
    Anything else?
    Okay.
    All righty. Lizard. For some.
Oh. Good point. Yes. You take, Ooh. Six points of necrotic damage.
    Yes, I'll just do that.
    I.
Yeah. Just hold charge. You notice that this one runs up at you?
That's going to do nothing. That's going to do nothing. He's going to go ahead and run at you and he tries to bite at you. Did you say your Shield is up? So as it takes a bite at you, it tries to take a bite at you, the Shield pops up at you, it pops up right in front of his face, and he slams right into it.
He then tries to claw with his hand and then the Shield is just on. It's game right now and it blocks it as well. That is his turn.
    Shadow. You.
What was the Banshee? Oh. Oops. So he'll do that?
Oh. Good point. He did Miss Thing.
So actually, we'll say that, thank you for reminding me that.
Yeah. So we'll say actually that he does come in for the, the bite and that's going to hit, but then the Shield is kind of like was trying to it was focusing more on its hand. So that's why it blocked the second one. You take five points of piercing damage, all that for that, all that for you.
Little bit of fun. All right. Now shot of your, sass. You'll be up soon.
The flight over. Right over. Over me.
Oh, I will say that that part right there is not the path that's more of the orb area. And you have been seeing Barlow taking damage when he gets too close to that area. There. So.
The pathways are the this thing here. And then, of course, this one over here by the doors. The portals.
Which I should say nothing about because Barlow and Calliope, you've been over at that portal there. You see that that portal there. It looks like it's a little bit of a tunnel. And then on the other side, you can see, it looks like some type of, infrastructure of, like, And then once in a while, you see, like a random, lizard man walk by or whatever, but so far, none of them have noticed what's going on in here yet.
And so I totally meant to say that earlier, and I forgot.
    Go ahead. Shadow.
The, the portals on the sides. Yeah. No, these are pretty big, actually. Probably closer to the, like, Say about, like, 20ft, maybe or so it argues back on her and then, like.
    Just above.
Okay. Yeah. I'm not sure. Is that all of you can't see what's inside of there because it's just Light.
    It's.
    It's 20.
How do you get Fireball? Oh, gotcha. Gotcha gotcha gotcha.
    So at this point.
Well, you have to get two guys right here. So you're saying it's.
    It's a 20ft radius. You said.
I mean, you'd be able to hit those two guys right there. And the orb.
    That. Which one do.
It's two guys in the orb. But.
    There you go.
    All right.
Back to you. I don't think so.
Even like the it's trying to really fudge it. That'd be the most. So. Yeah, it's just gonna have to be like, they're nice. Yep.
    No.
    I'm not.
Yeah. All right, so it's what, a Dex save.
    What what?
Oh, no. This item should say what the DC is.
Let's do the banshee first. That's a one. So it's going to fail. A natural 20, though, for the lizard folk.
    I.
So it's what, full and, half. If they succeed.
    It's 36, so.
    39. Total. Did you animate? Yeah. So the Banshee has a Resistance to fire? It failed the roll. So it takes the full damage or it takes half the damage. But that's still more than enough to kill it. The, shaman failed the roll, so it takes the full damage, and he was already hurt. And the thing in the center.
How much was the damage again? 39.
Oh, it's getting there. I will say at this point here, as that one hits, you hear bits of cracking in there. You see also that white Light that is coming from it. At this point, you start seeing a little bit of like a golden Light kind of coming through it as well. Little bits, like almost like the wherever the cracks are getting bad enough that this golden Light inside of it's kind of breaking free.
    I.
Yeah. You got it from the, from Volo with, Calliope tried to pickpocket them.
Yeah. I get behind it. All right. This lizard necklace. Off on the other side, this lizard fork character runs across, and you see him run into the, the portal over there.
It's good chance you're afraid that he might try to get reinforcements. If you're not able to close these portals quick enough. When they say that close to that, the goal is to break the ball and then break. So. Sure, give me a history check.
    12. You recall them saying that they're not sure that if the the destruction of that will destroy them, it's possible. Otherwise you might have to find some other way of destroying the portals. Bastion did suggest, possibly using the spell magic as a, possible way.
    All right.
That was. I know that this was a out.
What are you on the ground? The shadow flying just above.
This guy is going to attack Arlo Natural, 20. The advantage there. A, lizard man crept out of the water from the north here. He's hiding underneath. Artie's, eagle form.
So you take a whole 11 points of bludgeoning damage as a whole. You can tell it's using its full force of the strikes down with that,
Close 19 plus four. So that's 23 with its Shield. It's got a spiked Shield that it kind of like bludgeons tries to bludgeon you with. So you take another, seven points of piercing damage as it spikes. Try to dig into your flesh a bit and that's his turn.
Actually, you know what? Let's have some fun. Let's see what happens if he also decides to see if he can get some reinforcements. Go ahead and, go ahead and do an opportunity attack, though, if you want.
Yep. That's going to hit. Some, 13 points of damage so as he as he turns around, you slash at him. And you see, like, you kind of cut across its leg, but he's, he's still running towards there, and actually, he would have enough to attack just inside of.
It's his turn for. Got this guy down here. Clip. He's up in the air. She's actually over here as an eagle. Where did bastion go?
Bastion, where are you hiding it? Other. I see you.
You're underneath the eagle. That's why it's hard to see.
    So, Yes. Let's.
He's going to strike out at you. He's going to miss with his heavy club. He's also going to try to hit you with his spiked Shield. I don't think a 12 is going to hit your AC. So that's his move.
No, I don't know. Was talking as though I had a right there.
    Oh there he is.
I moved this one away so I could see him.
    All right.
    That one's Dead.
SAS, you are up, bastion. You will soon be up.
Okay, give me one second. Here. Let me hold a little quick. Let me go grab a drink real quick.
    All right.
    So what? Kind of warned,
Shadow about is you've noticed, though. That dome is. Got that Light, and, you've seen Barlow as he's trudged through it. He's taken damage.
Yep. There's a guard at that one. Yep. There is a walk with him.
Yep. That's why I did this. Honestly I did this. So that way you guys would have to kind of be more strategic.
    You got.
    That'll do it.
Yeah. Nice. Now we're getting some attacks in there. So as you come in there and you peek at him, you're able to like you like, peek big right at his, like, face and just pull off a big ol glob. The talons then kind of cut across his gut. He's hurting. He's still standing, but he's he's hurting everything else.
No. Bastion, dropped off at the other part because he was attacking the, the guys down there.
It's okay. You see, though, that he's hurting. You see that in that long tunnel ways? Is that, is a, the lizard man that escaped, though, and he's running to go get reinforcements.
    Lizard man. It's Dead.
    I don't know where this.
I still have no clue where this guy is. Hey, it.
Another one here that I guess hasn't done much.
It's going to go ahead and attack the eagle. Happy eagle.
    I'm sorry. It's just a stupid joke.
So 12 does a 12 hit. The Eagles. Right. So, sass, you see a Jocelyn come out as this, lizard man comes out of the water down here? The banshee who is Dead. So, Bastian. You're up.
    Okay.
    On your token,
Vision. Oh, doesn't that vision to, like, 60ft in for the night vision?
    You see that?
Yep. That's going to do it. For 17 points of damage. Not. Not yet, but he's close.
Oh, that is enough. Yeah. Five hit points. Yeah, yeah, five hit points. That what d6 is what killed him. All right, hold it. As you hit this point right here, you need you're going to get hit by the, the the Light that you're touching and you take five points of necrotic damage.
    Do you take another step?
All right, so you take another step. Take, two points in the chronic damage.
Every step in here is one d6 of necrotic damage.
You got it. So, yeah, he's got some pain points.
He's got a low hit for our low Armor class, though, so he's got that in your favor. So both will here. So that's, 21.
He is so. So close to bad. That one d6 is only one time a turn. As you slice through with this True Strike, you can see well, actually. Shoot. Nope. Yeah. No. That's fine. He actually doesn't take the fall. I just realized that. So banshees have.
A little metagaming. He's got acid, fire, lightning, thunder, bludgeoning, piercing and slashing from non-magical attacks. Resistance.
And immunity to cold, necrotic and poison. Yeah. So that's going to be six, seven, eight. So he gets for eight points back.
    Let me double check.
Yeah, it will be me. To be fair, radiant is one of the few things that gives full damage on them.
    So.
Righty bash. So now it's the Banshees. Turn in front of you. It just got hit.
As it reaches out to you, there's 19 hits. You.
It tries to kind of, do some type of attack with its touch. You're able to kind of move a little bit out of the way, and then it fails.
He's going to go ahead then and retreat.
Did you want to, do a, the pop up of, opportunity attack there? Bastion?
That will hit oh, one. Hit point.
    In my right.
Oh, no no, no, no, he had 818. The, So yeah, that would actually killed him. Yeah. No, no. So as it turned around to try the flee you, you're able to cut it down in size. It is now Dead.
Calliope off to the west, you see a from the west, you see a, javelin come out of the water. But it misses you speak in front of you, though. The one that you were attacking then tries to strike out at you. You see these two attacks?
He tries to strike out at you with his, bite and it's heavy club. And that misses.
You're starting to feel a little comfortable. All right. Yeah. Our for landfall. So the small stuff over here with the size.
19 hits you there, says. Yeah.
You take seven points of piercing damage. Was it strikes out it with its short, sword. Yeah, that is.
I will even let you, though, because that's a large creature you can even be, I guess not going to make matters. You can just walk up.
Good point. Technically, your spores would be active even when you're in wild shit. Because Wild Ship isn't. Because it's not like Polymorph. Anything you have active on you is active at that time. So yeah. Good point. Go ahead and give me your spore damage. Okay.
    No worries.
    No worries at all.
So as, as he comes to strike out at you and your polymorphic back, and, the wild type is coming down, your spores kind of dig into his flesh. He's not Dead, but he's seriously, like, just barely holding on.
Well, I think you had just moved up to him that time, and so he takes damage. Yeah.
He's also then going to pilot you now for at, 21 to hit. What's your AC now? Back in sass form.
Is going to hit, it's nine points of piercing, but he also gets his, slave foe. Oh, that's okay.
    One more point.
    Since you don't.
Actually, no no no no no, I take that back. Slay foe would not have worked on that one because you had all of your hit points. Never mind. So keep that one point.
    That is his turn.
You know what? He also is going to realize that maybe he should flee at this point. Nope. He's going to realize that he needs to die because he's actually supposed to guard the things. And the Dragon would keyed up for him anyways. You know, let's do a morale check. Let's see how he feels. Yeah, he's going to stay there.
All right, so the other one is Dead. So I could take you tomorrow. Barlow, you are up. Calliope on deck.
    There's rage attacks.
All right, so, I'm sorry. What's going on here? Oh, okay.
Well. Oh, so you got to try to climb on that thing.
So let's do, acrobatics or athletics. Check.
All right. And so, he's going to. If you're going to get to there. Yeah, you got to Jump on him because he's kind of in the water and it kind of comes out a bit. And then goes back in, if you know what I mean. If you're standing on the walkway like the it juts out at an angle out to the ground 15 degrees and then comes back up to the, arch.
    So but.
I said that was about 20ft, so that would be ten feet drop. So go ahead. So I guess,
I did it with the other one. Well, that was being thrown down. So you're actually just dropping on him. So, he takes one point of damage as you drop onto him.
So at that point, you would now be kind of about next to him in the water. So you would take two d6 damage of acid as the ass starts eating at you. So you take five points of acid damage.
    And you got it.
Nice. All right, so let's first do the damage.
    That's enough.
So you Jump down on him, and you beat the fuck out of him with one swipe. That rage. Let's go ahead.
Well, you'll have to Jump over to it because there's, like, a little bit of space. Like I said, it juts out, so there's an angle to it.
16 on the d20 roll. Okay, one more d20.
Three is going to give you, plus one D4 to your next roll.
    So,
If you want actually, from where you are, you could probably try that, like. Because how high is your standing Jump? Standing high Jump.
Put it in the chat room. It's time.
So how high can you Jump without? Okay.
Okay. You could probably Jump right back up on to the thing if you want to try that. So you don't take any damage. So let's do it one more quick, acrobatics or athletics to see if you're able to grab onto it. Yeah. So you Jump back up there and you're back up to that thing without taking any more damage.
No worries. All right, Calliope, you are up. Shadow soon on deck.
Actually, you are on deck. That was a red stat.
Let's just. We'll just do the first one first. I guess. Doesn't match that. Nothing too much around you is. That's good. I hit it.
I don't think she realizes she can.
If I'm on the character seat when you're on the eagle seat, where it has the attacks.
You can hit, where it says beacon talent and do that.
Or even I think the multi attack does a too, but that's okay.
Ouch. I would. Okay. I guess we do the second tech. I've saved it because he only has. Oh actually no no no no no no no. Roll on d6.
Yeah. He had two hit points. He had two hit points. That's why.
Oh yeah. Yeah. So he would have been up to kill okay. So he that guy's that.
Yeah. Yeah. They're just saying that you can do two attacks on your turn, that's all. And.
But the really isn't two points around you. It looks like. I mean, there's a couple guys over. There's a guy over in the water, two off on the other side. SAS is fighting a guy on the other door. There's a banshee still. Oh, actually. That bad? She's Dead.
That's what I'm trying to. I think that she's Dead. Yeah. Sorry. That one's supposed to be Dead. It was running back, and. But that actually cluster there.
Exactly. I mean, the main thing here is that the, the, the orb in the center, but as an eagle, and as you've seen that Barlow was taking damage with that Light, that's why you wouldn't save him. So you know you don't want to get too close to that in an eagle form.
Can you go grab him? Yeah.
So just do a, do, another, contested. You'll do it. A talent attack to see if you're able to kind of grab at him or you can do a strength check.
Yeah. You're fine. Yeah, it's. I gave it a pretty low DC on it because he's. He's willing.
So he's. You can have him now.
It's what killed, killed the Greek philosopher.
One of the Greek philosophers died because, I think it was an eagle. Throw it down. A turtle.
That's how they killed turtles. By throwing them on rocks.
    And.
    Well, ultimately.
It seems like there's a passageway to the north. Since they did tell you that they wanted you to close the off the portals so they don't. It doesn't sound like they want you to go through the portals, because that's where all the, the rest of the army and the, hold the star, and they're outnumbering you.
All right, so go and do your movement.
The only thing is, I would say is actually, as you get to the. I feel like right about, I guess that's on the outside. That's right. If I.
Add the edges there, it gets a little Weird, so I'll let that so that you're fine. You're like, right there on the edge of where the the white Light is. That would burn you.
Anything else? All right, shadow, you were up. SAS, you're on deck. After a few, enemies, which probably are Dead anyways.
31, the hit that's going to hit.
We'll do the damage first, please.
    Just.
    25
That would be it. So as that one hits, You. It hits and, you see it, then kind of shoot out of the Light off to the left as you hear, a crash of glass and, Crystal and pieces, like, sort of flinging around, as that kind of the white Light goes out. So in this area now, technically it would be a bit darker.
    Roll me a, maybe a d100.
    Well, two tens.
Yeah. Okay. 94. Yeah. So as, as nothing blows up, you also see off to the sides the. Oops. That's on the right.
The, the portals Blink out and they close out, and you can see right through it just into the cave walls. So there's no more portals there. I can go ahead and do it this way to.
The portal walls. You do see in the center, though, right before the Light goes out.
About a hand, hand size, kind of, golden Light, orb kind of drops to the ground. You hear it crash on there, doesn't break, but you hear it hit and it kind of rolls around down there.
That's what I'm trying to figure out here.
    Is still, And,
Try to figure out who's alive.
I'm trying to figure out who is still alive and who's Dead. Give me a second.
    I heard on the.
    Oh, I heard. Yeah.
I think that's what he's been saying. I don't know where this guy. I still don't know where this lizard folk is. Oh, wait.
No, I know where he is. I see him now.
Yeah, he was, hiding all the way down south. Like. Man, I have a shot. Where are you at? In the middle. Oh, yeah. I also think that we. Yeah, it's on the ground. Yeah. You just.
    29. He does have a little bit of cover because there's a big old turtle in the way, but it still would be enough to hit.
Is it more than two? And then he's Dead as he. As you shoot the arrow right over his shoulder. Dude, turtles have shoulders, I guess not. It goes right over her shell. And, it goes right into his, it comes out and you see him just slumped in the hole. You see the ball, and it looks very much like the orbs you have seen already that says as two of an arrow, at least two, maybe three.
I remember that at this point, but she's got a couple. I know she's got two ever on it. Toriel and her little thing.
That's another one of these gems of that eastern,
That that, there's two bald guys out in the water, and there's one up north, so we can leave it there, though. You guys can finish up the last guys and then go up north to see the Dragon again, and hopefully.
Good job guys. I was trying to kind of do something a bit different. Definitely try to make it so it wasn't so linear that you guys would have to kind of do a little bit more problem solving.
    Well, because I find.
Those. Yeah, I mean sass was the only one that dropped. Yeah. So acid and it took a while. So she dropped out.
