A red dragon from the party's past returns and kidnaps one of them.

  The Mists of Concatenation   Recap
The **Wild Cards** found themselves trapped in a hellish basement, fighting to destroy two red crystals that powered a **Portal to Avernus**. The battle escalated when a massive **Goristro** demon burst through the portal. The party, with **Bastion** targeting the crystals with his **Steel Wind Strike** and **Shadow** creating a **Wind Wall** to block reinforcements, engaged the demon. **Barlo** and **Calliope**, in her giant ape form, fought the **Goristro** in a brutal melee, while **Sas** used her **Druidic** spells. After a long fight, **Bastion** destroyed the first crystal, and the party focused on the Goristro. **Barlo** landed the killing blow on the demon, and the party worked together to destroy the remaining crystal, causing the portal to close permanently. With their mission complete, they collected treasure and escaped through a portal to **Trap Street** with a **Rakshasa's** help. They were greeted by the cats of Othog, who led them into a strange, foggy realm, leaving the party's destination shrouded in mystery.  
 
 
   

Summary

The party followed a Cosmic Cat Guide through the mystical The Mists of Concatenation, a realm between realities where the Cats of Ultharr dwelled. In this strange space, thoughts and memories became shared telepathically, creating a hive mind connection that made secrets impossible to keep. The black cat that guided them transformed into a cosmic, universe-like appearance as they walked through the rejuvenating mist that healed their wounds and restored their magical abilities.   As they journeyed through the mist, the party experienced profound shared visions that revealed their interconnected histories. Bastion's memories of his life in Grognar and his complex relationship with Captain Meklan were laid bare - they learned that Captain Meklan was both Bastion's grandfather and son across different realities, existing as the god Paradox who lived in multiple timelines simultaneously. The cats showed subtle animosity toward the Tabaxi party members, referring to them as "uprights" and feeling they had stolen the goddess Bast's attention away from them.   Barlo began sharing visions of his father aboard the Flying Ship Audacity, where the elder had served alongside young Captain Captain Meklan, Sas's father, and Shadow's village elder. In these memories, Barlo's father possessed the ability to sprout large purple-black wings with metallic talons, jumping from the ship to fight cultists during an ancient battle. The party witnessed visions of the climactic confrontation beneath the bell near the ziggurat of Therizdun, where hundreds of glowing orbs floated before a black void while the goddess Bast grew to enormous size to help contain the cosmic threat.   Calliope's memories revealed her father fighting brown-cloaked enemies with red glowing swords while her mother attempted to leave the order of Ashla and Bogons to become a way seeker. Shadow experienced Confusion about the cats' prejudice and saw spectral visions of her companion Artie transforming into cat form. The mystical experience provided the party with benefits equivalent to a long rest, fully restoring their health and magical abilities.   The peaceful journey took a dark turn when Sas began emitting psychic feedback that caused damage to the party members. Disturbing visions revealed the Red Dragon Almandine's previous attack on the party and showed Vyrin's brother working with Drow and an Orthon devil. The climactic revelation came when the party discovered that Sas had been replaced by a Doppelganger during their teleportation - the real Sas had been captured by the escaped Orthon.   The cats apologized for the delay in breaking through the imposter's deception and immediately transported the party to a volcanic cave where they found the real Sas tied up and Unconscious. The Adult Red Dragon Almandine loomed over the scene, now larger and more powerful than before after participating in the Dragon's Crucible on one of the moons, where dragons competed for power and absorbed abilities from conquered foes.   Combat erupted as the party engaged the Doppelganger while preparing to face the Dragon. Barlo raged and Grappled the fake Sas, while Bastion dealt massive damage with his Hex and rapier combination enhanced by True Strike. Shadow delivered the killing blow to the Doppelganger with an arrow to the neck, revealing metallic blood and sulfurous flames as it died and transformed back to its true form.   The Dragon's arrival brought terror as it used its Frightful Presence to terrorize most of the party, leaving only Shadow unaffected by the Fear. Almandine's devastating fire breath targeted Shadow and Calliope, dealing massive damage while the Orthon teleported away claiming he would collect his payment later. The Dragon's lair responded with dangerous environmental effects including magma geysers and poisonous gas clouds that created additional hazards.   The party struggled to engage the flying Dragon while dealing with Fear effects and difficult terrain. Barlo remained Frightened for most of the battle, limiting his effectiveness to long-range crossbow shots. Bastion attempted to incapacitate the Dragon with Hypnotic Pattern but failed against the creature's powerful will. Shadow used her clockwork amulet to guarantee hits with Lightning Arrow spells, dealing significant lightning damage to the beast.   Calliope made a dramatic tactical decision to transform into a Tyrannosaurus Rex using Polymorph, becoming a hot pink, glittery dinosaur to engage the Dragon in melee combat. Her transformation proved highly effective when she rolled a natural 20 on her bite attack, dealing 53 points of piercing damage and leaving the Dragon bloodied and seriously wounded. The critical hit also granted her permanent hit point increases as her mark of the adventure activated.   The wounded Dragon made desperate counterattacks, clawing and biting the T-Rex while the party continued their assault. Shadow's arrows found their mark repeatedly, while Bastion provided healing and support with Cure Wounds and Ray of Frost spells. Calliope cast Cloud of Daggers directly on the Dragon's position, creating additional damage as the creature moved through the magical blades.   The battle reached its climax when Shadow delivered the killing blow by shooting an arrow directly into the Dragon's mouth as it prepared to breathe fire. The arrow caused an explosion inside the Dragon's throat, and the mighty beast fell to the Earth with a reddish essence shooting out as it died. The party felt immense heat wash over them as Almandine's life force dissipated, ending the threat once and for all.   After the combat, the party rescued the real Sas and discovered an enormous treasure hoard containing over 16,000 Gold pieces per person, along with precious gems, magical potions, and important documents. They found a contract revealing Almandine's participation in the Dragon's Crucible and a Draconic religious tome called "The Book of the World." Shadow successfully harvested valuable materials from the Dragon's corpse, including wings, breath glands, scales, and blood, while the party identified various magical items including rings, potions, and a broken wand of wonder. The adventure concluded with the party wealthy beyond their previous Dreams and having uncovered crucial information about the cosmic forces at Work in their world.

    Vhalak

    A male Drow Doppelganger and brother to Vyrin, shown in visions working with other Drow to find an Arcane Forge. He made a deal with an Orthon devil to save his life in exchange for his shapeshifting services, and later allied with the Red Dragon Almandine. He was the one who replaced Sas and traveled with the party as an imposter.      

    The Orthon

    A pig-like devil creature that made deals with Vyrin's brother and the Dragon Almandine. This entity was responsible for capturing the real Sas and replacing her with the Doppelganger during the party's teleportation. Has magic Resistance giving advantage on spell saves and teleported away when the Dragon arrived, stating he would collect his payment later.  

    Almandine

    An Red Dragon that previously attacked the party three years ago and was seeking Dragon Orbs. She has grown significantly more powerful after participating in the Dragon's Crucible on one of the moons, where dragons compete for power and absorb abilities from conquered foes. Uses frightful presence to terrorize enemies, devastating fire breath attacks, and demonstrates increased intelligence and tactical awareness. She was ultimately slain by Shadow's arrow to the mouth.  

    Real Sas W.T. Rayce

    The actual party member who had been kidnapped and replaced by a Doppelganger. She was found tied up and Unconscious in the Dragon's lair, confused about what had happened to her when revived by Bastion's healing magic.  

    Cats of Ultharr

    A collective hive mind of psychically linked cats that exist in the spaces between realities. They have the ability to share thoughts and memories with visitors, show no tolerance for secrets, and display prejudice against Tabaxi, whom they refer to as 'uprights.' They track stories, narratives, and histories across the universe and use the power of secrets as magic. They made a deal with Captain Meklan for safe passage and can banish visitors instantly if they choose.  

    Captain Meklan/Paradox/Grognard

    A complex god figure who exists across multiple realities and times. He is simultaneously Bastion's grandfather and son depending on the reality. Known as the Paradox God, he has lived as a mortal and serves as Bastion's nexus to this reality. He was seen as a young Captain on The Audacity in visions and made a deal with the cats of Ulthar. In ancient visions, he flew toward floating orbs while casting spells before being pulled into a black void.  

    Jade Gift

    A mysterious figure from Barlo's past who served on The Audacity. He possessed the ability to sprout large purple-black wings and had metallic talons. He jumped off the ship during the ancient battle to fight cultists on the ground and never told Barlo much about his past. aka Barlo's Father  

    Solec

    A crew member who served on The Audacity alongside Barlo's father and young Captain Meklan, seen as a younger man in the shared visions during the ancient battle. aka Sas's Father  

    Cosmic Cat Guide

    A black cat that transforms into a cosmic, universe-like appearance while leading the party through the mist. Part of the Cats of Ultharrhive mind, it shows subtle animosity toward the Tabaxi party members and serves as the party's guide through the interdimensional space.  

    Locations

    Volcanic Dragon Lair

    A large volcanic cave with magma flows, rough terrain of jagged rocks and broken debris, ancient temple Ruins, and a rough-hewn pyramid structure. The lair features difficult terrain, standing columns, and active volcanic activity that creates environmental hazards including magma geysers and poisonous gas clouds. This serves as Almandine's base of operations where she kept the real Sas captive.  

    Dragon's Crucible

    A location on one of the moons where dragons compete in life-or-death battles for power. Dragons who conquer others can absorb their abilities and rapidly increase their strength, which explains how Almandine became so much more powerful in just three years.  

    The Mists of Concatenation

    A mystical realm that exists between realities and universes, where the Cats of Ultharrdwell. The mist creates a hive mind connection that shares thoughts, memories, and emotions among those within it, making secrets impossible to keep. Time feels distorted here, and the mist has rejuvenating properties that Heal travelers and restore their magical abilities.  

    The Audacity

    The party's Flying Ship, seen in visions with Barlo's father, young Captain Captain Meklan, Sas's father, and Shadow's village elder aboard. The ship was present during the ancient battle beneath the bell near the ziggurat of Therizdun.  

    The Ziggurat of Therizdun

    An ancient structure beneath a bell, site of a climactic battle involving a black void, floating orbs, and the goddess Bast. The location where Captain Meklan was pulled into the void while attempting to contain the orbs.  

    Skola Vale

    The area where the party's Elder was created from the remains of a corrupted Archfey. The location transformed from evil to good through golden Light spreading across the landscape, turning the fleshy Archfey to stone. aka The Dead Archfey's Domain

    Land Stride

    A Ranger ability that allows Shadow to move through difficult terrain without penalty, helping her navigate the rough volcanic cave environment.  

    Psychic Feedback

    Uncontrolled psychic emanations from the Doppelganger posing as Sas, causing psychic damage to party members as its mental defenses broke down. The feedback grew stronger with each wave, dealing 3, 1, 6, and 2 points of damage respectively to different party members.  

    Memory Sharing

    The psychic connection created by the Cats of Ultharrthat allowed the party to experience each other's memories and thoughts while in the The Mists of Concatenation, breaking down mental barriers and revealing hidden truths.  

    Hex

    Cast by Bastion on the Doppelganger and later transferred to the Dragon. Adds necrotic damage to attacks and gives the target disadvantage on ability checks. Bastion chose to apply the disadvantage to strength checks to potentially help with grappling attempts.  

    True Strike

    Cast by Bastion to ensure his second attack would hit the Grappled Doppelganger, contributing to massive damage output.  

    Phantasmal Killer

    Attempted by Calliope on the Orthon but failed due to the creature's magic Resistance. The spell creates a frightening Illusion visible only to the target.  

    Counterspell

    Attempted by Bastion to stop the Doppelganger from using a magical item, though it wasn't actually a spell being cast.  

    Frightful Presence

    The Dragon's supernatural ability that forces wisdom saves from all creatures within range. Those who fail become Frightened for one minute, unable to move closer to the Dragon and suffering disadvantage on attacks.  

    Fire Breath

    The Dragon's devastating breath weapon that deals massive fire damage in a cone. Used multiple times during combat, with recharge attempts that sometimes failed. Dealt 63 points to Shadow and 31 to Calliope in the first use.  

    Hypnotic Pattern

    A spell cast by both Bastion and Calliope attempting to incapacitate the Dragon with twisting patterns of colors. Both attempts failed as the Dragon successfully resisted the Enchantment, including one natural 20 save.  

    Lightning Arrow

    A 4th level spell cast by Shadow multiple times that transforms her arrow into lightning, dealing significant lightning damage to the Dragon and creating a 10-foot radius effect that could damage nearby creatures. Used with the clockwork amulet to guarantee hits.  

    Polymorph

    Calliope cast this spell to transform herself into a Tyrannosaurus Rex during combat. The spell requires concentration and gave her the form of a hot pink, glittery T-Rex with significantly more hit points for survivability. She maintained it through multiple concentration saves.  

    Cure Wounds

    Bastion cast Cure Wounds at 6th level to Heal himself for 26 hit points during the Dragon battle, and later at 3rd level to revive the Unconscious Sas after her rescue.  

    Ray of Frost

    Bastion cast this cantrip twice against the Dragon, with one hit that reduced the Dragon's movement speed by 10 feet and dealt cold damage, helping to Slow the creature's mobility in the final moments.  

    Cloud of Daggers

    Calliope upcast this spell to 5th level, creating a damaging area effect directly on the Dragon's position that would deal 20 points of slashing damage when the Dragon moved through it.  

    Healing Spirit

    Shadow cast this spell after combat to help the party recover hit points, allowing each party member to Heal multiple times by moving through the healing area.  

    Identify

    Cast as a ritual by Bastion multiple times to determine the magical properties of the various items found in the Dragon's treasure hoard, including rings, wands, and other magical objects. Takes 11 minutes per casting.  

    Skill Empowerment

    Cast by Calliope to double Shadow's proficiency bonus for nature checks during the Dragon harvesting operation, requiring recasting every 30 minutes as the spell duration expired.  

    Invisibility

    Shadow used this spell during combat as a defensive measure, though it proved less effective against the Dragon due to its blindsight ability.  

    Telepathic Communication

    The cats of Ulthar's ability to communicate directly into minds without opening their mouths, used to apologize for the delay in revealing the Doppelganger's deception and offer assistance.  

    Blade Song

    A magical ability used by Bastion to enhance his combat capabilities, providing bonuses to AC and other combat statistics.  

    Mirthful Leap

    A magical ability used by Calliope to enhance her jumping distance, allowing her to cover difficult terrain more effectively by adding 1d8 feet to her Jump distance.  

    Writing Tide

    A spell used by Shadow to hover 10 feet in the air, providing elevation and tactical positioning during the Dragon combat.  

    Items

    Dragon Breath Glands

    Specialized glands that secrete the chemical mixture creating the Dragon's fire breath, weighing 12 pounds. These are highly prized by alchemists and are worth 3,000 Gold each, stored in the Bag of Colding to prevent decay.  

    Dragon Scales

    40 pounds of scales harvested from Almandine's hide, worth 3,300 Gold pieces. These scales can be used by skilled craftsmen to create Dragon scale Armor and other protective items.  

    Dragon Blood Vials

    Seven vials of Dragon blood collected by Barlo, each worth 250 Gold pieces. Dragon blood can be used to create potions of Dragon strength and has various alchemical applications.  

    Supreme Healing Potion

    A powerful healing potion found in the Dragon's hoard, providing maximum healing when consumed.  

    Potion of Invisibility

    A magical Potion that grants Invisibility to the drinker, identified when Barlo's mouth briefly disappeared during taste testing.  

    Potion of Vitality

    A bitter-tasting Potion that removes Exhaustion and disease, and for 24 hours causes the drinker to regain maximum hit points from any hit dice used.  

    Time Dragon Egg

    An egg retrieved from a time Dragon that the party obtained to appease the cats of Ulthar. It was stolen from a house after fighting red Abishai and is central to gaining the cats' attention and cooperation.  

    Portal Gems

    Two red gems that contained orbs and were used to power a portal to the plane of Avernus. The party destroyed these gems to shut down the portal, preventing demons and devils from continuing to come through.  

    Floating Orbs

    Hundreds of glowing gems or orbs (possibly 333 total) that floated in front of a black void during the ancient battle. Their Light was being sucked into the void, and Captain Meklan pulled them into the void with him when he was consumed by it.  

    Mark of the Adventure

    A magical mark on Calliope that lights up during significant moments, providing healing and restoration. It activated when she rolled natural 20s, granting her permanent hit point increases and temporary healing.  

    Barlo's Protective Tattoo

    A magical tattoo on Barlo that can provide protective energy to allies. It lit up to Shield Bastion from psychic damage during the Doppelganger's mental assault and can transfer 1d6 bonuses to allies' rolls.  

    Magical Necklace

    An item the Doppelganger attempted to use to escape or communicate, but was prevented from activating by Barlo's intervention.  

    Clockwork Amulet

    A magical amulet worn by Shadow that can automatically turn a d20 roll into a 10 once per day, guaranteeing a successful hit on attacks. Used to ensure Lightning Arrow spells hit the Dragon.  

    Fire Breath Vial

    A vial containing fire breath that Calliope planned to use in combination with her T-Rex transformation to create a fire-breathing dinosaur, though this proved ineffective against a fire-immune Red Dragon.  

    Dragon Treasure Hoard

    A massive collection of coins discovered in Almandine's lair, consisting of 16,543 Gold pieces, 2,683 Platinum pieces, and 6 Electrum pieces per party member. The treasure represents the accumulated wealth of an Adult Dragon.  

    Four Precious Gems

    A collection of valuable gems including a Ruby, two diamonds, and a Black Sapphire, all with excellent cuts and estimated to be worth about 5,000 Gold pieces each.  

    Force Cage Spell Scroll

    A magical scroll containing the Force Cage spell, found among the Dragon's treasures and potentially very valuable for magical combat situations.  

    Dragon's Crucible Contract

    A legal document signed by Almandine detailing her participation in a life-or-death Dragon competition on one of the moons, where dragons compete for power and absorb abilities from those they defeat. This explains how she became so much stronger in just three years.  

    The Book of the World

    A Draconic religious tome written on fine vellum and Leather with wooden covers, protected by magical enchantments. It contains Dragon Creation myths and religious beliefs, transcribed from memory by an unnamed Dragon who had read the original once.  

    Nesnar's Spellbook

    A spellbook written in high Drow belonging to Nesnar (the Doppelganger's brother), containing the Silvery Barbs spell among others. The book represents a connection to the party's previous encounters with doppelgangers.  

    Brass Ring of Invisible Finger

    A magical Brass ring that renders Invisible only the finger it is worn on when activated, creating an unusual and limited Invisibility effect.  

    Levitating Gem Ring

    A Gold ring with a gemstone that levitates slightly above its socket, creating a visually striking but purely cosmetic magical effect with no practical applications.  

    Broken Wand of Wonder

    A wand made from Ivory and finely carved sequoia that was once a powerful Wand of Wonder, but now has a cracked gemstone at the end and no longer retains its magical properties.  

    Stylish Cap

    A piece of folded cloth that unfolds into a very stylish-looking cap or hat, found among the Dragon's treasures though its purpose or magical properties are unclear.  

    Dragon Wings

    Two large wings harvested from Almandine's corpse, weighing 70 pounds total. These wings contain flesh that will rot within seven days but are valuable Crafting materials worth 6,500 Gold pieces each and can be used to create magical items.  

    Dragon Meat

    Fresh meat harvested from the Dragon by Shadow to feed Artie, easily obtained due to the abundance of material.  

    Bag of Colding

    A magical storage container that can hold 100 pounds and preserves organic material as if under the Gentle Repose spell, preventing decay while items remain inside.  

    Portable Hole

    A magical storage device used by the party to carry heavy treasure and equipment, helping manage the weight of their Dragon hoard.  

    Healing Potions

    Minor healing potions that restore 2d4+2 hit points when consumed as a bonus action (requiring a roll) or full healing when consumed as an action.

    Voice down. I have to turn Amy Annie up. I have to turn Jamie. Jamie's maxed. What's funny is half the time you can hear his voice through mine, but my voice comes out too quiet. Yeah. Ha! Well, he does have that super fancy mic.
    Okay. So yeah. So.
    All right. So you guys just got done fighting smoothies. You guys were.
    Loving it right up. Are. So you guys were fighting some doubles? You guys were, trying to retrieve a, egg for a time, right? So that way, you would be able to appease the city. That would be able to contact the cats of over a, something you guys were directed to by modern Kanan as a possible way of helping handle the situation.
    You guys have found yourselves in the overall situations, but too big was kind of going on in the background, one we haven't really addressed for a while. We're not going to address tonight, but that's dealing with past and whatever it is that she wants from you guys. But the other thing that you guys have kind of stumbled into when you guys started learning about, a six armed creature that has been erased from history, the spell keepers, when you guys are done that you guys are trying to link yourselves to Vecna, who had used that secret, and then whoever would be able to unlock that secret would be enough to kind of help start bringing
    him back. And that's where you guys kind of came into play on that. So to get the cast of All Stars attention, you got the time. Dragon egg, making a deal with the. Well, you really stole it from the house after he fought off the Red Abishai. And then you talked to a.
    Who got? Seems like. Yeah. What the hell's the cat feature called? Rakshasa. You guys talk to the Rakshasa, and, he seemed like he was more the kind of help you guys know right now. He had his reasons why he wanted the egg off the premises. And so he told you guys, though, if you really don't want to be attacked by Red episode anytime soon, the best that we did go into his basement and to shut off the port.
    So you shut off the portal. You guys had to attack the two little red. You, really only had to attack one of the red gems, as you guys did. So, though, you guys kept having waves of, demons and devils who are fighting upon the, plane of Avernus, who would spot the, portal from time to time.
    And we come through and keep making the battle more and complicated. But eventually you guys were able to, after having a go restorer kind of, rampage through the room, you guys were able to finish taking down the gems? You end up getting both of them, free. Where? Because inside of them was actually orbs. You guys have not checked to see what role these are.
    But after that, you guys did a little bit of looting. You guys found some stuff, before you guys could really get into anything, the Rakshasa pretty much said it would be time to leave the house. So he was, very kind. And he teleported you guys to the traps, the hidden streets that you can only find if you're not looking for it.
    They, seemed to Work with the cast of star. So if you talk to the mayor there, they were able to contact the cats. And you started following one of the cats. As you follow the cat, you found yourselves walking through mist, fog very thick around you. The.
    Cat led. You guys. Also, there was a little bit of animosity kind of in the, prevailing. It seems, between him and the suits about you in the group. Nothing too serious, but you could tell there was something there. As you guys were walking out. You guys were in the mist and occasionally various, memories and scents and kind of things kind of weathered over you.
    So that's kind of where we are now.
    See what is being. What do you see? What do you see, gents? But.
    Nothing.
    Dynamic ladies. So, wait, you're saying the cats didn't like us? It seemed like there was a little bit of, You're getting like there was a, just kind of like a look. Then when he looked at you and, Barlow, there seems to be a little animosity between them, and that's. You started picking up on it pretty quickly just to kind of look in the eyes kind of things.
    There was a definitely a different look when you looked at you guys versus the rest of the party. Even the Human seemed to be fine. So right now you guys are walking through mist as you kind of look around. I need two things for you guys. I need a wisdom save and I need a perception check.
    Wisdom save. And let's also do a just for shits and giggles. Let's go ahead and do a marching orders. It. I don't have a token, really, for the cat. I just realize. Well, so I will. Yeah, I'm number wise, but I'm looking at everything that giant A, that's the person leading in the front. And you wanted perception.
    Yeah. Perception and a wisdom thing. Oh, wow. What do we got here? Yeah. This bastard got a whole spectrum going on there. That's a give me a, d20 a d20.

    For the, perceptions that actually got a 28.
    A shadow got a 28. So what we'll do with this? So as you guys are walking through, you guys see, just like moving shapes and as you kind of focus on, you're definitely noticing the shapes seem very, feline. All throughout the shot, throughout the mist that you guys are kind of walking through, and you're not even sure how long you've been walking as or point.
    You feel like you've been walking for days, but it could be minutes. You're not sure. Time is really funky here. You start picking up, we're going to have, bastion. We'll start with you first. What are some of the thoughts that maybe bastion might be thinking in this moments? Thinking that, we've had a very Weird, series of events where we're, fighting, devil fighting devils and demons.
    And now we are following a cat. So I think thinking that this is just very, very odd for us to be doing, I sure I should tell you what that little cat looks like first, you know,
    The cat that's like. Yeah.
    That's a Dragon. Oops. That's Dragon. That's a long, not a cat. It's also made by I. Yeah. Time to do all the art.
    So it's.
    Yeah. So, you know, that looks like a cat. Bedtimes at nine. Yes, it looks like a cat does, in this 905 9:00, I can't I at least terrifying moment because I said, no, thank you.
    Dude, but time's usually 8:00. We're giving you an extra hour. It's not really extra, and it's not really extra. Well, we could make you go to bed right now. It is extra when your normal school time bedtime is 8:00. Okay. In the summer time, but it's seven on school, eight on school. Oh, I don't want my boys five hours.

    Okay, so this cat is black, but you notice, like, as you kind of as you guys kind of got into the minutes, it went from being a black cat to, like, you can start seeing almost like a, if you read Marvel comics, it's very much like when you're looking at infinity or if you watch the MCU, but it's definitely like you can barely see where the ridges are, where the, the edge of maybe the tail, but then, like, it all seems almost very flat, but you're looking through into the universe kind of thing.
    This is the one we're following specific. This is the one that you're following right now. And the look kind of changed as you got as you've been walking through this mist and, as I, we just had as is, obviously just kind of having these thoughts in his head. You guys are actually picking up on those thoughts as well.
    And as he's taking a that sucks. It's like very strong sulfur. You start feeling the heat from that room kind of on your skin for a moment. The sensations of your guys's thoughts are kind of breaking through a little bit into what the hell just happened. There? I don't know, but your voice got a lot better. Yeah, it was kind of crazy what happened?
    Your voice got better, and it's back. Well, because, like, I cut off my mind, like.
    Well, whatever was picking up your voice after you might cut off sounded better. All right, let's try this, then.
    You're not complaining some wrong with the voice. Oh, because we can hear you. Fine. You know, just a little booming and basic, really? Like, I can kind of sound.
    That sound better? Nope. Okay. Now you're really low.

    So as you start feeling the heat, the the sensations that he had been feeling, and then, you guys start picking up, like, other thoughts, and it seems like you start picking up the truth about where you guys are, right? And what you start learning is that these cats, they are like a hive mind and that they're all psychically, linked.
    And that's kind of allowing you guys to be a little bit linked while you guys are all in here, in fact. So your memories, your thoughts, your emotions and feelings are kind of also being shared amongst the group and with the cats around you. It seems that there are no secrets for these cats. Yeah. You also learned that the area you guys are in is called the midst of fun and functions.
    And.
    As Katina.
    And yes, I'm very proud of that pun. Haha. But as you guys are walking through the Katina, you're picking up how these cats are kind of connected. How like, this is like their, this mist area is pretty much exist with in between, where any reality or realm or any type of universe tends to almost get close to another one, or any little pocket or full, just like cats tend to find all those little spots in the streets and alleys.
    They've done the same thing through the universe with these cats. As you start picking up those thoughts and memories of the from the cats, Bastian's mind starts kind of sharing histories from his own life, and you guys all start picking up how, you see moments of time with him and Grignard, and you start learning through these memories.
    You start picking up the fact that you guys have already been learning about how there's a God named paradox, and it seems to be who Grignard or MacLean seems to be, but his life is so complex that he has actually lived as mortal lives and bastion is pretty much his nexus to this reality. The. You guys have heard how MacLean is supposed to be Bastian's grandfather, but at some point you also learn that MacLean is Bastian's son, and it's because they're from different realities.
    But because the met, the paradox was my way. All of these different realities, he kind of is all of them at the same time. There's, you know, he has a son. I didn't hear you there. I heard you in real life. So I said, what? I said, does Bastian know he has a son? Why am I not hearing you?
    And you guys don't know? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Hold on, hold on. That's why. Wait, wait, wait. Can we, let me go back to this? Jamie, talk. Jamie, my. Yeah, my mic was turned on. Yeah, yeah. Sean, talk. What happened? You disconnected. This first.

So in this moment, if you start questioning about that. Because we had you had heard at some point in the couple adventures, couple sessions ago about how MacLean is your son, what could be your son or something along those lines.
    And that's kind of why, it had to do with, part of why he was kind of pushing you away from doing the, the son so late singer placing those and, because he felt that you needed to be a powerful, actual Wizard like traditional Wizard to be able to fit your place in, what he understood was supposed to happen.
    But as you guys have also been picking up with you guys being the Wild Cards, every time he had tried to manipulate things around you guys, it didn't do anything. It didn't matter. So you at least now you understand that there is a version of you in different times and different realities and different kind of settings, where in some of them you are his father, some he's your grandfather, and some maybe you don't even know him.
    Is that what you're asking? Shadow?
    Yeah. Okay. He's my son, but he's not my son. In this reality, though, you understand him to be your grandfather. A version of him, another grandfather. And that one does connect. Which also kind of goes through the words of what the elder had once said, that you have a very interesting lineage.
    But it's just and we're seeing all these images. So yeah. You guys are all picking up, you guys are all picking up on these images. At this point everybody go ahead and roll. Two d10.

    Atticus, there's a soda. Please. Yeah. So whatever your, total is, there's you. That's how many hit points you guys get back. As you're kind of walking through here, you feel a little vitalize because you guys just got out of battle. But just in here, you start getting a little bit. You hit points back. Shadow or.

    Yeah. Shadow. You had the other perception.
    Actually, I want to do it this way.
    So as they kind of picked up a little bit of, history from bastion, they start kind of sharing a little bit of their insight. You start learning about how these cats, there's many different, like, organizations and powers across the universe that track stories, narratives, histories of people, lands and things. These cats are one form, you guys start having visions of a place where there's just Books everywhere, like a a large room with Books, but then it goes into another room and just piles.
    And so it's not very or not always organized, haphazard. And throughout these, these rooms, you also see various cats, some of them seem to be using Telekinesis to kind of move Books around. Other ones are actually just kind of reading the Books. It seems.
    So you've kind of started picking up on that. But as far as the power of secrets, the reason why and when you guys are through here, these this hive mind doesn't allow secrets is that secrets is a type of magic. It's a type of power. Very much like how fast you learn. Your magic is used by how you control, knowledge and and to kind of bend The Weave to, to cast the spell.
    Whereas Calliope has a sense of understanding with history and and the narrative and how through those stories, it can actually Fabricate reality and kind of manifest itself, shadows, magic as long as well as, sass is kind of comes from their connection to the lands. And, so there's different ways of magic, but here the cats and the enemy that is on the horizon, Vecna, seem to use this power of secrets as a type of magic.
    No, No, I did not hear anything.
    At this shout out, you also notice. With yours actually was, Shadow and Bastion. You guys had the, hive, perception check. You both noticed that sass is very quiet, and it doesn't feel like anything is really coming off of her right now. Sass. So keeping secrets, guys, we've got a killer. But as you continue with your journey, Barlow starts having some visions that he starts kind of sharing with everybody.
    He shows, you guys start seeing that, and then these are some things that you guys have heard about. Like how he used to hang out with Nicklin and play games and, and then there's for a moment, oh, shoot. I. Listen to his cool stories. Yeah, yeah. As, as before the vision with Barlow actually, you saw with Bastian.
    As that was happening, there was a, a slight shimmer that the rest of the party noticed on. Bastion, where you started to see, almost like an Illusion kind of manifest just over him, just very slightly and very briefly as the memory started coming out. It was a, This image of this, like, brassy Copper, Dragon,
    Where with. And you can see the hair that kind of starts coming off. It's very, it's almost like his hair that's coming off the back of this Dragon. Just briefly, at the same time that you kind of see that you see this cat come out of the shadows and as it kind of like, touches against Bastian's feet, it takes on some of those same qualities, the same skin tones, the the hairs.
    And then it kind of pops up and darts off into the, the mist as well as soon as it turns out that, what's happening now as, Barlow is starting to have one of his little visions and his little share moment, and my man, give me one second here, guys. Jeffrey knight, Jeffrey. Jeffrey. Love you.

    I got new headphones and it seems to be that's what's causing all these problems, because I wanted to be able to get up from time to time. And that was a bad idea, right?
    You guys are all there, right? We I look. Yep. Okay, so I make sure. So I saw and he's, like, popping up, but I heard, like nothing. So let me make you yesterday. I'm not really talking I know well but the green spot on discord. So that's like picking up I think background sounds. But I wasn't. Sure, I'm going through my computer speakers, so it might be picking up.
    Just you guys talking. I don't have a headset on tonight. No worries. So you guys see the the image pops up on bastion. You see, the little, cat that comes out takes on some of those same qualities and jumps into the mist. You see the the bastion memories about regard everything else. You guys got some hit points back.
    And then you start picking up the, the a bit of lore about the cats and about how, the power of secrets. Got out the lights, went out. And then you, Barlow starts taking on, a slight change as well. Now, just very briefly, this Illusion kind of takes over a little bit of, another Dragon Draconic type personality.
    Purples that kind of fade into blacks. A bit of his orange and brown furs, though, are resembled in, like furs that kind of grow on the body through the scales as well as his wings. Take on those colors. And as it kind of happens, you also notice the cat that jumps out, that comes out of the, mist.
    This one's a little bit of a bulkier kind of alley cat looking thing, and it takes on some of those qualities as well for a brief moment as it as it does, that little cat rub on, his legs and then it jumps out into the mist. And then Barlow's visions kind of get shared, and you guys learn, you see what's going on.
    You see the memories that he has with the Maclin. And then as that's kind of happening, Barlow, as you look down at your hands, in fact, for just a quick moment, you see like these like kind of, metallic blades kind of come out of your hand just for a quick moment. And then you see your father and your dad is on the deck of The Audacity.
    Your dad never really told you a lot about his past, but in here, you can see him as a younger man. And he's on the deck of The Audacity. Your guys's Flying Ship. And you can see on that ship, you can see the young mech Captain Macklin, you can see SAS, his father, as a younger man. You can also see, shadow.
    You see your village elder younger on that deck as well. And, at some point in the, in this memory, that kind of comes out. You see your father, Arlo, Jump off the ship as he does so he sprouts these large purple black wings. Whose am I? You're picking up what you picked up on yours for some reason, you're always picked up on mine.
    Not that bad, for I can hear. You see your father Jump off the ship. His. These wings kind of sprout out. Kind of like what you've seen happen with, bastion a few times. Where the. But these ones look, they start coming off very solid, and, I.

    Also, you see his claws, though. They have these metallic talons that come out, and everybody go ahead and roll another two d10. Alexa, kitchen Light off. You're just, like, really sensitive right now, though. I can hear me.
    So that two d10 is also more healing points for you guys as the mist is kind of, rejuvenating. You guys a bit. You're not even feeling tired as you guys are walking endlessly on. And these you kind of been almost entertained by the, the, the sharing of these memories and visions. At this point, though, Barlow is what else do you think Barlow would be thinking in this moment?
    Probably trying to stop some of these images from coming out like, this is, I don't want to. Scott. I would probably be focusing on to saying in his head, stop this, block it. Whatever you could do to stop this from coming out, give me a will say just Barbarian. You didn't give me that option. Jeez.
    Because he you weren't trying to do that because we didn't know what was happening. But that's fine. That's kind of how it works. As as these kind of things are kind of coming out, you kind of start trying to put it, like mental blocks up a little bit. And you feel pretty confident that for the most part, though, you're still receiving, but you're, you feel like you've put enough of a wall.
    That would be they'd have to push a little bit to get into your, mind a little bit more. Okay. Yeah, that's what I'd be afraid of, that anything deeper might come out. I don't want certain things. You don't want to come out. So. I mean, really trying really hard to stop it. And as you're doing that, everybody kind of starts taking in the smell of, like, tobacco.
    And, you you notice that he's holding back, blocking his brain. You guys do feel that? He's kind of, you feel like a, like a Weird sensation coming from him. In fact, as he does that, you guys also notice that feeling you've been picking up from sass a little bit during this whole time? Actually, it seems like she's been kind of putting up a very similar block this whole time.
    But the memories are kind of, continue to you guys, as you guys are taking in those observations, these, these memories from the cats gets shared with you guys, and you can see that they actually had, made a deal with Mifflin. You learn through these visions, and it's more of just like learning the.
    What happened. Not so much like seeing a scenario play out, but you kind of learn about how Macklin had made a deal with these cats because they don't let people into these places in fact, if they wanted to, they could banish you guys instantly and you'd never be able to find this place again. But they had made a deal with Macklin because they understood how he had a purpose to kind of help.
    The continuity and time continue and not disappear. You also start picking up a little bit more of that strong feeling of this Weird racism, if you will, this, this animosity that these cats have towards the backseat. And they have only really allowed these two because of Macklin.
    Calliope is, before we get into your memory, go ahead and tell us what you think she's thinking right now. I didn't hear the freight kind of cut up a little bit. Can you repeat what I'm supposed to be thinking about? I mean, just kind of like a general idea of what Calliope is kind of thinking in that moment.
    Honestly, she's probably super confused.
    Was there, like, are you asking for something specific or nothing at all? Like, I'm trying to give you an opportunity to kind of put some input into how your character will be reacting in that moment. And, and to as you're picking up, is that whatever's kind of going through your mind, some of it kind of bleeds off in to everything else around you.
    She's probably just kind of amazed. She's been completely enthralled with the fact that there are cats around, especially like cosmic ones, cosmic cats. She probably would have tried to pet a couple of them. With permission from Nissa, probably, or shadow asking if she was like, is it is it bad if I try to pet a cat?
    I think she's I don't know if she's necessarily had, like, a train of thought of things that she's thinking. She's just completely amazed him. No worries. So as I kind of occurs, though, everybody does start picking up, very strong sense of various wild flowers and, yeah, just like different types of flowery smells. And you start seeing, like, various, like, little butterflies that kind of pop up around all of you for a moment.
    But shadow definitely tells her out of the corner of her mouth, don't touch the cats. There is a cat that does do the kind of comes out of the shot, out of the mist and kind of rubs up against her legs, right before she does. So you see also like the, like a Draconic persona image that kind of takes over just briefly, like Calliope a what persona kind of like was you've already seen this, this kind of like, Draconic version of your character.
    Like, kind of like an Illusion over you. Just for a brief moment. But as that kind of, Illusion occurs, it's the cat coming out of the shower, out of the mist, and wears robes on your feet. He also takes on some of those qualities. And in this one you can see Calliope is like, colors coming into play with the hair and everything else.
    And for you, as this is going on, you start, everyone start seeing the elder, this is the most at like, My Little Pony at everything, right?
    You guys all start seeing the elder. She kind of helped raise Calliope when she was younger. You see how the father kind of made, kind of asked the elder to kind of help take care of her. You also, though, see, a memory that clip is on a really aware of. She was very young.
    And you see her parents, the fathers telling the mother that she needs to run and that he will keep them occupied. Then you see him run off to go fight some, some guys that are wearing the same kind of brown cloaks we've seen, clip his mother and, the ones that she was traveling with where, these guys are fighting, though.
    The people that are fighting have these, swords that are kind of glowing red as they fight them. And then you kind of see the vision kind of shifts into where the elder, being an old friend of Macklin, talks about how they they're they talk about how Calliope is supposed to be a very important protector of the Vale.
    And this prophecy has already been shown. True, as you guys are with the early adventures, you guys helped protect the Vale and bring it back. But you also see these visions of how Calliope is. Mother is being hunted as she's trying to leave that order of the ash and the bogans as she wants to become what's called a waste seeker.
    And this is what's something that she had been trying to tell Calliope. And those few times that she kind of came around. You guys, that she was trying to become a way seeker. Because as a way seeker, she can have relationships. That's why she had to leave the father was because she wasn't allowed to have relationships.
    Go ahead and roll another two d10, everybody. Yep.
    And that will once again be hit points for you if you need them. Anybody that's missing spell slots at this moment, you are re-energized enough so that you get all your spell slots back. Okay, I wasn't at my computer. What did we need to do? Roll it to d10 for, roll again, hit points, and then, if you're missing any spell slots, you can go ahead and get those back.
    I'm not a bright, am I, at this point, knowing you are. Yeah. Everybody's, their normal cells. Well, I think it's a it doesn't really matter too much, but, I think we're that marching order. It's quite a try again. Is killing me. No. It's a shadow. What kind of visions? What kind of thoughts is, shadows kind of having that breaks through everything.
    D is not understanding why these cats don't like her. She's very jealous. No, she's just confused and frustrated. She's a general cat. Yeah. With this, she misses already. Go ahead and do, wisdom check. Wisdom check. Not, save is my wisdom.
    Seven.
    In that moment, you kind of. So as you start thinking about what's up with these cats, what what's going on? And that you almost get, like, an answer to your question in the sense that, you start picking up the history where these cats kind of they're just very entitled kind of thing. And they had a very strong connection with past, obviously, and they've kind of feel that to back.
    So these kind of have been taking her interest away from them. And that's kind of where it seems like that animosity comes from a little bit. You can see that they kind of refer to to backseat as uprights.
    And as that kind of happens as well, everybody kind of starts taking in, like a bit of a scent of, catnip. And then it kind of drifts off into, like, kind of salty sandy, kind of, both in smell and almost, like, texture. Like you just for a moment there, you start feeling like you're just walking through endless sand out in the Desert, even picking up a bit of the, the, the heat, some of the,
    Some of the mist starts kind of solidifying almost where you almost think, you see, like pyramids off in the distance. And then for a brief moment, you see right next to shadow, you see already kind of walking and then but it's like, see through like a like spectral form of already. And that already kind of like shrinks down a bit.
    And so it almost goes into the form of a cat, as it does. So you do see a Draconic persona vision that takes over on, you, oh, she purty. So you see her whiteness, but you can even see the ear is still damaged. But these long feathers that are kind of sprouting up behind it, you see the modeling on her, and you see these spectral little owl bears kind of floating around her a little bit, not like in this picture, but you see, you see like something there's very small kind of ghostly.
    I didn't either, like you mentioned that. Yeah, yeah. Like I said, that's not what I really wanted, but I didn't have time to do the art. Oh, so it it's fine. And so you kind of learn a little bit about them, blah, blah. And so at the same time, then you start seeing you start to pick up visions about, your village elder when she was younger.
    You also see her, now on this the, the ship with his father, Barlow's father. And you see them on The Audacity as it flies into that hole that you guys originally flew out with. With it with their now underneath the veil, you see that ziggurat of the reason from so long ago in your adventures. And then above it, though, you see this black hole like this black void, solid black, above, you see these tendrils of black that are kind of starting to spread out of it.
    Some of them look very much similar to like, octopus tentacles coming out this huge black hole. And then you spot in front of it a glowing circle of little orbs. There's probably like 100 or 200, possibly even 333 of these gems, these orbs floating and glowing in front of this thing. And then as you see this vision, there, the Light that's kind of coming off those gems are being sucked into that void as the void is trying to kind of break through.
    Looks like. And then off on the ground, there's, it looks like a little tobacco scene just standing down there. But as you kind of notice, it actually starts to grow in size. And it's not just a regular tobacco. See, this is Bast starting to grow in size. To fill the size of this large cavern, you see and sense that she is chanting some type of spell.
    You see that ship that's flying through the air. And at this moment, this is where you notice that this is where that, scene where Barlow's father jumped overboard to attack some cultist down on the ground. You see, the ship come to rest on the ground. And as it does so, everybody starts departing and fighting these cultists.
    And the ship is exactly where you guys have seen it, though, in relation to that, to back, to the ziggurat. And then you see Maclin Fly towards the center of this, those orbs, as he's flying towards the center of the orbs, he seems to be casting some type of spell and then he gets sucked into the, the black void as he does so you can see him pulling at the orbs and dragging them in with them as everything starts to kind of start turning black.
    Everybody roll to detent and get those hit points. If you need them.
    Is everybody fall on their hit points? Yeah. Would that have taken you over the last one? I've been full the whole time. Okay. That last roll can be temporary. Hit points. Them. All of them? No, just that last roll up. Oh, I didn't.
    Sweep. I get the feeling we're going to need them. You saw the orbs go into the black hole. And then kind of, you're able to see the vision again where Bast is looking at the party members on the ground as they're fighting these cultists, this large Bast, goddess. It finishes just chatting her spells, and she's able to.
    It looks like, Teleport the party out of this hole as the ground starts to shake and parts of the roofs are kind of falling out, you see them appear back on the ground. A Familiar sight. You guys have seen this area before? Where the the large Dead archway. And this moment, you can see it's still somewhat fleshy, but it's starting to still turn the stone.
    This was the archway who had originally had turn this area into a very evil area. But this is the moment, it seems that they create the elder, as you see, all the leaves and trees and Plants and flowers and grasses on the back side of them, this golden Light starts, this kind of spread and take over the area.
    And you see the elder kind of walk out of the, now solidified stony statue of the archway. This is the moment that they were able to kind of hold off the restart from destroying all of reality, throwing those orbs across time and space once again. This is also seems to be those events that unfolded that day.
    It's also it's kind of connected. All of you guys, as of this moment, you it's as if you guys took a long rest. So if there's anything else, I would have recharged on a long rest. Or you can just hit that button. That's a long rest.
    And in this moment, you guys. Oh, did I oh, the one thing I didn't finish was, we got kind of distracted with, shadows. Dragon. So as you saw that Illusion on her, just a little retcon, you saw already kind of appear next to her. Kind of shrink down into the size of a cat and kind of rub up on her feet and kind of take on those same kind of, appearances, if you will.
    The, the skin tones and the even the little owl bears around it. Yeah. That was a part, and then you saw the vision, and then at this moment, it feels like. Okay, the cats have shared Calliope and the upside shadow and Bastion and Barlow of all shared and sass has it share. And you felt that Resistance that Barlow had started putting up.
    And you're noticing sass has been kind of putting it up this whole time. I need a wisdom safe from everybody.
    Wisdom. Say.
    Oh. House is really like crap to me. I've rolled three ones already. This was actually a pretty low DC.
    So everyone takes oh sorry everyone, but chuckle takes three points of psychic damage as this kind of feedback loop starts kind of emanating off of sass. You don't see any cat come out to rub up on her feet. You start hearing the cats, starting to, like, not like that low hiss kind of spreading through the mist.
    And then these visions starts coming to you guys. There's a memory that you guys all shared. There was a, road trip you guys were on when you were going to go see Reginald. And as you guys had capped off on the side with the elder, there was a creature that attacked you that night. Do you remember the creature?
    There was a Red Dragon. Oh. What? Oh, yeah. Are we going to beat that Dragon's ass? Finally, you see the Red Dragon attacking you guys so that night. And then the vision changes. Damn it. You see? You see fire in the drought Doppelganger that you guys, who is now, like, in charge of, the magic item Creation on outing refuge.
    You see her with another drought, which seems to be a Doppelganger. This is her brother that at some point you guys have learned a little bit about this. Brother, you see that? They seem to be working with some Drow in an old cave. They are trying to find an Arcane Forge somewhere in Philander on Eurasia. The continent that long ago, you guys were all trying to get to.
    Go ahead, give me a wisdom save again, guys. By the way, you guys also notice in this, as right now you're not walking anymore. Everyone's kind of frozen in place as this is occurring.
    So let's see here. Which one was this? Okay. It's the 14. So starts with Choco. No, that's, So, that's in your fun clip. You take one hit point shadow, you take a hit point and chuckle. You hit one hit point of psychic damage. This one, you guys were able to kind of not take the full, it wasn't as strong as the last one.
    Just for the dice.
    As you start seeing the image of them trying to find this Arcane Forge, it shifts to where you see that male Drow making a deal with an authority. The Auton was this big kid. Creatures you're just fighting. This looks like the one that disappeared. You see this orphan coming to him in his final moments in this cave, telling him that he will, save his life if he agrees to Work with it.
    It seems that this author thought that a Doppelganger, a shapeshifter like this, could come in handy for some of his contracts. And, he had been following these two for some time. Go ahead. Give me another wisdom. Save everybody. Yep.
    All right. So everybody but chuckle go ahead and take six points of damage. Choco give me a d20 everybody but Chuckle yeah you got a 27 and.
    And you know an 18 didn't save. Not on that one. Yes. How many points. Six points. What was your die roll A99. Yeah. You now have a 1D six that on that your next d20 roll or you can transferred somebody else. If they have a d20 roll at the same time or before that, you can add a one d6.
    So we were, so took another psychic blast from sass. You see, now that the draw the Earth on, they're making a deal with that Red Dragon. That Red Dragon al-Mahdi that you guys had, taken some scales from. You taking some blood from you guys? It almost thought you guys thought you almost defeated her as she flew off.
    In this vision, you see her making a deal with the male draw the brother, fire riff and the earthen that you just fought. And he got away. They're making a deal to find you guys or one of the Dragon Orbs, which she was originally looking for. You guys had learned with, Actually, that was one of the first uses, I think, of Annie's I'm sorry clips.

    One more psychic glass comes out, so I need that one more wisdom. Save.

    Nice. The funny thing is, actually, I just realized because the DC is 15. So that actually does Work for you. So you didn't take that psychic damage. You actually feel we both rolled the natural one. As that psychic blast was about this kind of hits, you. You see, Barlow's tattoo kind of Light up a bit, and the protective energy kind of comes over you a bit, so you actually don't take the damage.
    Just. So Shadow's the only one that took it. Calliope, with your one, you get five hit points back, okay. As your, mark of the adventure lights up a bit. And at this moment here, as we've kind of had a, And what what is it when you just dump and, like, a story, damage. I think the word, sorcery, but you kind of picked up a bunch of things that it kind of plugs in some of the missing holes.
    And at the same time, you also see that there's something wrong with sass, where these visions of this, Doppelganger and everything's coming from starts to kind of make sense in this moment as the next memory was you guys beating the last of those devils. And at the last moment, when you guys are teleporting out, you see that orphan that had escaped it, grabbed sass and instead replaces sass with the Doppelganger.
    The Doppelganger is the one that dropped into the party with you guys. You guys are now still frozen. Now you guys, I understand that sass is missing you here in the background. It starts to kind of take in the. The hissing of the cats is like rising in, tone. You start hearing meows coming from them, but just very, pained kind of meows.
    And then black Cat turns around to you and without opening its mouth, but with a psychic kind of Message to you, says, I'm sorry I took so long to break through the imposter. We realized they had stolen your friend, and we wanted to help you to get it right away. Before alma Dean can hurt her, we can now send you to where we know she's at.
    But we do think you might want to be ready for anything, when you guys are done or come to a resolution, we can come in, bring you back here and finish what we needed to do here. If you guys are ready.
    Sure. Yeah. All right, so in that moment, as you guys come to an understanding.
    You guys are sent to the ground below you, kind of opens up a bit, and you start to fall as you guys land. You are in a cave, wonders. Like a volcanic kind of cave with the magma and these large bones coming out of the ground. You guys are going to be in the bottom left hand corner.

But in the up at the back end of the room is this large, rough hewn type, but not an actual pyramid per se, but it definitely has that kind of pyramid type shape.
    But it's rough and on the side of it you see that large red dragon. This seems to be al-Mahdi, the Dragon that faced you, but it seems larger. It seems more powerful for some reason. In front of him you see the earthen and, next to him it says she's tied up. It looks like she might be knocked out or Unconscious.
    As you do enter, though, they are aware that you are in here. You here at fact sass behind you yell to the to the people on the other side of the room. It's time to go. And that's when we will go ahead and roll initiative.

And when they conquer another Dragon, it looks like they're able to take on some of the powers from the ones that they conquered.
