The adventurers delved into a serpent-shaped temple to find herbs to protect them from **Vecna's** influence. A **simulacrum** had previously explained an arrangement between wizards to protect the realm from **Vecna**. After entering the temple, they were trapped by animated statues and an **obsidian** wall. After defeating the statues, they found a six-sided die, which **Calliope's** magical glove revealed had transported them from the **Material Plane**. They descended a dark stairwell, where **Shadow** triggered a poison trap before encountering and defeating **Yuan-ti** guards and another statue in a corridor with flowing lava. They collected valuable loot from their defeated enemies, and the session ended with the party poised to investigate four mysterious doors.
Summary
Deep within a jungle-shrouded dungeon, a brave party of adventurers found themselves facing extraordinary challenges. Ancient statues that spewed molten lava and stone guardians that moved with uncanny life stood in their path as they delved deeper into the mysterious complex. Their quest was intricately tied to an enigmatic prophecy and a figure known as Vecna, who they learned was in pursuit of a specific book, while they had been advised to seek out protective herbs and magical items to guard their Dreams. As they ventured further, the party found themselves in a stone labyrinth where they engaged in fierce battles against animated stone creatures and snake-like enemies. Spells flew through the air and weapons clashed against stone as they fought their way forward. During this intense combat, they spotted something unusual - a red crystalline dome adorned with strange markings, sitting atop a pedestal. Through magical investigation, they learned the dome had ancient Abjuration magic designed to block evil and psychic influences. When Calliope attempted to examine the clay tablet beneath, they discovered it possessed some form of sentience, leading to a magical snap effect. The tension in the room grew palpable as they carefully studied the mysterious markings and tried to understand the nature of this potentially hazardous artifact. The dungeon had one final challenge in store for the adventurers as they entered a chamber with flowing lava. Here, they found themselves ambushed by enemies wielding scimitars and bows, forcing them into another tactical combat situation. The party worked together effectively, with Shadow landing a particularly impressive shot through an enemy's chin, while Barlo, Bastion, Sas and Calliope contributed their own attacks. | So we are actually doing the dungeons of Dungeons and Dragons. Well, you know, the dungeons. So the main important parts right now is. |

| Your unofficial Patreon. Splash Grignard seems to have been some type of trouble. It seems that that somehow triggered a contingency with a wizard from another dimension who has been here before. Since there's spells named after him and everything else. And some of you guys are knowledgeable about more than Kanan. It had triggered a, one of his. |
| Some similar qi'ra to come to this dimension to it. Interpret the current state of the dragon prophecies, which seems to be they use as a code when they need to help each other out in their dimensions. It turns out. And, from that, it led him to you guys, who seems to be the current group that is affiliated with, Macklin, gave you guys some options on how to handle the situation, because it turns out whatever's going on with Macklin has something to do with Vecna as he is trying to break to help regain any semblance of life and return to the material plane. |
| The story is that you guys have not heard is that Victor is long been dead, but somehow it seems a part of him has been resting and hiding in a secret dimension at the edges of the Plane of Dreams. And using that and the, a spell that some ancient magic to hide a whole species from history. |
| As you guys started learning about that kind of triggered something that allowed him to tap into you guys. And so with that, he has been pulling you guys, and he's been coming into your dreams and trying to, get a book that SAS has been holding on to, which seems to be the one thing he can not get physical possession of. |
| You guys have heard of a few other people that might. And and things that might be missing. But in the end, talking to Macklin, I heard a couple ideas. There was two ideas that you guys like the most. One for immediately, which was to, get some herbs to be found in this one dungeon and to use those to create some type of, poultice that will allow you guys to be protected in your dreams for at least some time, to get some rest and to be ready and strong enough to fight that, that that need be. |
| It also giving you guys an option to find the cats of author, which seems to be some type of cat culture of some sort, that has some connection to the dream of planes. The details were a little sparse, but it didn't seem like that would be the first thing to do. So this is where we are. He had sent you guys to a dungeon to the you wanted dungeon, where? |
| It's in the middle of a jungle. And the the entrance was the head of a snake coming out of the ground as you guys went in, you guys had a very hard battle that, with statues that were throwing us, sorry, lava at you guys. And then you guys realized the weak point was the fact that they couldn't really move and didn't really have that good range attacks, except for the love attacks. |
| So we're able to finally take them out, you guys, then, as you, were to able to, jerry rigged the obsidian door that mechanisms had broken. When you guys destroy the statue, but you're able to get past it. That got into another room, which didn't seem like it was part of anything here. A stark, white, misty kind of room with a pedestal and a single die. |
| Calliope tried to use her glove on it. It seemed that it fought against the glove, but she was able to at least discern the fact that if she rolled the dice, it would open up some entrance. She did. So you guys came through? That room disappeared and just became an ordinary room. After you guys had exited. |
| From there, you guys are now inside of the main dungeon. You guys had, found a room where it was a, a little lava, flow fight. Some wanted, then tried to go back and, found that there was a wall of lava. So instead of trying to find a way through that went back over the other one and found a room, I will go ahead and do this just. |

| As you guys came in here, then you guys found another room where there was a few. One TI, and then one of the large statues fought a nice little fight to get everything done before you could really get your bearings. Barlow decided to rush ahead and check the next room out. As he did so, he was surprised with the one at the door staring at him. |
| And that's where we left off. What I'm going to say is the time up to now with searching stuff and everything else. You probably still have a bit of time on your. Your spell there. Bastion, I don't know if you've got a. Which means you. There's a concentration, I believe, isn't it? Stone skin? |

| That this concentration up to one hour. So that's something I got to be aware of. But so you saw the concentration on, We'll say about, like, 15 minutes. It's probably. But then will say it's been about 45 minutes since the battle when you guys were in the, first room. Your cloud of daggers. Calliope, I think that's only one minute. |

| I can't remember if I think you guys did a little bit of searching while he was messing with the door. So as is more likely, the cloud of daggers would be gone. |
| I can figure out what layer it's on. Does it. I don't remember if anybody else had anything concentrating. Maybe, I don't suggest. Usually you just do your, silly shadow. Sometimes you have stuff, but I don't think you did this time. So, so what we'll do is we will just go ahead and start the game off with an initiative roll. |
| As you guys had finished the combat Barlow, it opened up the door to the next room, and there's a couple of baddies in there. |

| Wow. I will say, bastion. Sam, they, put out the beta for some of the class subclasses that are not in the 2024 books, and one of them is the Blade Singer. There's some things that are. Plus some things that are probably considered minus, I will say everything I've seen about the monsters. I'm probably going to start shifting the monsters definitely more towards 2024. |
| The spells I'm willing to work. So if you guys see something in the 2024 rules, we can figure out how that works. Kind of like what I already did with the cantrip that they had in the beta that I had liked. But those even try changing the official rules. So if that's the case, we'll just let me know if there's something that you find interesting and we'll see if there's a way of working around that with your character. |

So, yeah, with the classes, if I can't remember if any of you guys in other classes are actually in the new rules or not, though I know I brought it up before, though, you guys were all fine with what you guys had, but I just want to kind of put it out there. |
| As far as the spells, especially since that changes and then with bastion since that class is coming into it. But what it does is because you lose your armor, you won't have armor proficiency. But I think they give you a little bit kind of a the reliance is going to be more on mage armor and then shield kind of thing. |

| One of the bonus is that if you get a 19 or 20 on that second roll, you get 10% of the missing hit points that you would have had if you would have maxed out all your hit point rolls. Every level does make sense. So whatever. If there's like 20 points, that if you would have maxed out every hit point, roll and there's 20 points that you never got because of it, you would get 10% of that. |
| This only can happen to one time of day. So if you get if you were to go to the 19 or 20 there, you would not have got it again, because it's the same day. But it's a it's a really cool buff that if you get it. But what you did get is with your second rolls and 18. |

| But as he is swatting them down, you're quick enough to grab another arrow and notch it and get him right into a little soft point right underneath his wall in between two of his little scales. And with that, the big guy is going to do something. |

| It only lasts for about seven days. But then again, you have the bag holding, it is used in a crafting of a potion of poison immunity. But you got to have the recipe for that was, there wasn't the recipe in the book that you guys use, but it did say it's used often for that. |
| If not, other things, such as polymorph potions and such. But the one team that's the blood. The venom is valued, give or take, around 50 gold. For a while, usually I only get about one vial per creature. A little pretty. Not not the most, but pretty high. These. And then if you know what you're doing, you can also refine it into one to poison. |
