Tangled

Tangled is the first major story arc in Delicacy in Disease. It's the beginning of Cic's journey for self-identity and fight against the dreams of those who seek to determine his future themselves. It also serves to explore the complicated lives of those aound Cic, and how his hopeful beliefs affect those around him.

Summary

After living under the careful eye of his adoptive father for 5 years, a young rink named Cic with a mysterious past finally signs up for the guild in town. At the same time, circumstances beyond his control quickly change his hopeful future as a Guildhand into a fight to protect those he loves and cares for. Denizens of Jace's sketchy past, the heavy despondency Archer feels drifting through the present and the untangible anxiety Tyric expects in the future all clash, tangling the four into a series of events that seem all too convinient to be coincidence.
