Spirefell

Demographics

The Population of Spirefell contains extreme diversity and it is common for those born in the city to have racial features completely differing from their parents but otherwise being completely healthy. Many of the first recordings and notices of Second Spawn trace back to the stone streets of Spirefell.

Government

Spirefell is run as an Oligarchy, with representatives from each major guild working towards its maintenance and growth. The Newest member of this council being Maud "Valkyrie" Shatterstar who has helped Spirefell become the capital of Blood Healing. While the Atome Panhellenic has expressed distaste at this notion, as of the current day this has only resulted in minor discordance within the council.

Infrastructure

Spirefell has a completely functional sewer and plumbing system, partially built atop the old-world infrastructure that can still be used. Surrounding Spirefell is a massive 60-foot wall that is of Old World construction and still bears the skeletal remains of arbalasts and other siege engines as well as newer, more functional defensive devices. While walking in spirefell, many notice that the terrain of the city is unusually flat in comparision to the rolling hills of the Firstgrowth Forest.

Districts

Spirefell has several districts each named and maintained pertaining to its uses and denizenry.   Oceanview Acres and Crownstead Farm act as repositories for agriculture allowing not only fresh and available ingredients but also a plentiful surplus within Spirefell.   The Festival District hosts an Arena for games as well as theatre productions and serves as the central Bardic College within Spirefell. It also tends to host nomads and roaming traders as part of its traffic.   Lowton, Highton, and the Crown district serve as residential areas, where the highest concentration of houses are built and maintained for full residency and citizenship within Spirefell. Many of the homes in Lowton are kept empty in the case of housing emergencies or refugees and many of the Buildings within Highton have several floors and can comfortably fit several families.   Smithway houses the shrine to Degir an ancient relic of high reverence for those who worship the Smith-God, and serves as home and workshop for many people who study under the Smith-masters of Old Spirefell.   The Mourning District serves both as a place where the dead can be interred without being cremated and hosts a large cathedral dedicated to the study and cataloging of the divine. While working with many great arcane thinkers and even historians of the Menagerie of Recall, this cloister is extant from other organizations.   The Fishing District started as a humble endeavor to exploit the ocean for food and has since grown to feature a full port. While it has not yet grown into itself, the port is said to soon open Spirefell to the rest of the world.   Lastly, The Alabaster District features a fortress built on the ruins of another Old World Structure. This serves as a meeting place for many of the officials of Spirefell and often hosts events and socials to stimulate trade and the sharing of ideas. During most of the day, the Alabaster Fort remains empty save for the guard barracks that are regularly stocked with able-bodied citizens.
